What an absolutely incredible gem in the Houston scene. I’ve been coming here for years & it’s only getting better. Food is delicious, service is incredible & the owner comes to every table to check up on you. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Definitely try the mussels- so many flavors to chose & all are delicious.

A Little Less is a Lot More Cafe Brussels has no chrome, no plastic, no vinyl, no fake wood. But it does have a warm and relaxing atmosphere and GREAT food. Starting with the appetizer, escargot (our favorite starter) was the best we’ve ever had. The main dishes, Chicken Cordon Bleu and Flemish beef stew, were excellent. But the best restaurants take as much care with their sides as with their main dishes. Cafe Brussels came through with B+ fries and A+ green beans. All this and lots of free parking in back. Clean restrooms and family friendly. We have a new Houston favorite.

The previous reviewer complaining about them being low on mussels obviously doesn’t understand the current supply chain issues. Katherine’s food quality and flavor have been amazing for over twenty years. The service and atmosphere is warm and inviting. You cannot get food anywhere in Houston like this, it’s amazing!

The chicken croquettes were delicious and fresh out of kitchen. The chicken cordon blue was delicious as well as the meatloaf my husband had. The beer was SOOo perfect with our meal. Then a perfect ending with Pistachio ice cream, whipped cream and HOT dark Belgium chocolate!!

Some of the best food around, Katherine still serves up the best mussels in town serving authentic Belgium foods . Hard to beat the Kwak for me. Her homemade desserts are perfect to top off the meal.

Lovely and cozy restaurant. Went for the Sunday brunch with the jazz musician and it was lovely. The food is rich so come hungry! Want to go back and try the mussels. Apparently their specialty

The food here was amazing. A truly great experience. If you are in Houston it's a must go. I had garlic mussels and cordon bleu. Be sure to say hi to Adrian. He's a great guy.

Always delicious fare! From starters to dessert. We went for Sunday Brunch. The yellow bell pepper soup was delicious. We also had the salmon omelette. Outstanding

Two of us came for brunch. The mushroom toast was the most delicious thing I've had in months. Everything else was good to very good. I wish they had some Belgian beers that you can't find in any larger Spec's. And they were limited to OJ for mimosas. With just a little bit more effort (like fresh-squeezed juices, or a pepper mill on the table, I would have given it five stars.

Amazing mussels, shrimp croquettes, French onion soup, the best Belgian fries served with homemade mayonnaise and an array of Chimay and Belgian Beers, been going here for years!

I happened upon this place completely by accident. Didn’t have much time so had to rush the experience but will definitely come back to enjoy more. Got the Spaghetti bolognese and my husband got the chicken Diablo. Both dishes were amazing, so tasty. Want to come back to try the mussels and escargot.

Food is amazing, service is great, & the atmosphere is eclectic. You could have a nice lunch/dinner with friends or have a business meeting here. I highly recommend the Mussels with [true] Belgian French fries or the Lobster Bisque!

Amazing place with amazing staff! The owner was super nice and the hostess was awesome too. Food was incredible. Randomly stumbled across it for lunch and we decided to come back for a date night. We would like to try so much more of the menu. This was a cool experience I think a lot of people will enjoy.
