Fantastic place for a quick bite. Sandwiches are really tasty, and the baked goods are great as well. We grabbed a babka, bialy, and a couple other sandwiches. It was all delicious. The came with the biggest caper I’ve ever seen, and a couple pickles - the latter were not exactly my style, but were still good. The lox bagel I ate was excellent, would come back just for that. Staff were very nice, and the place had an upbeat atmosphere. I’d happily return for more!

Best brunch in all of downtown Knoxville. Every dish is artistically plated and just so incredibly flavorful. I felt experimental and ordered the peaches & cream babka, but it was maybe the best one yet. Wonderfully balanced with the slightly sweet cream on the side. I split an open-faced lox bialy and the farmer frittata sandwich. The lox bialy is a staple; all of the fresh & pickled veggies on top are absolutely delicious. It was my first time ordering the frittata sandwich, and it might be the best egg sandwich I've had in my life. All of the sauces complimented each other beautifully. The restaurant itself is wonderfully decorated and they have a barista and cute outdoor seating. 10/10

My husband and I went here for lunch today. Everything was amazing. The atmosphere was bright and friendly, service was amazing and the food was incredible. We got a lox bialy, matzo ball soup, potato blintz and the rip n dip. Everything was delicious and so flavorful. 10/10 would recommend. Shout out to our friend and sous chef Andrew! Thanks for the best service and perfect food!

Cool spot with good sandwiches. This is good for a light lunch. The bread and bagels are all made in house. The pastrami sandwich is stacked, the meat is tender and the bread is wonderful. The whitefish bagel is good too.

They have a secret menu we were lucky enough to discover 😎 staff is so kind and friendly! If we visited again, we’d opt to visit for breakfast instead of lunch. The homemade bagels are absolutely delicious!

This place serves Ukrainian inspired food. We had the Potato Blintz, Lox Bialy, Mushroom Reuben and Bat Mitzvah show stopper. Our favourite was the Lox Bialy which is also dairy free. It is very pleasant and refreshing. The Bat Mitzvah is also very delicious. Decor is simple but gave a lot of happy vibes. I noticed a party area that can be sectioned off. I would come again.

So glad we stumbled upon this place!! Atmosphere is laid back and very cool. I ordered the avo tartine, cappuccino, and a pistachio babka. Very reasonably priced at $20ish. Service was fast and the food was absolutely delicious! Wishing I had room to try more. I will be visiting Potchke any time I'm in the area for breakfast!

Cute place with great food! I got it to go for a work meeting and it was hot and freshly made, tasted amazing! I went back to get some coffee and one of their babkas -- the chocolate babka was incredible. Soft and just the right amount of sweetness. I wanted to try the peaches and cream, but it was more expensive (which is fair! I just wasn't looking to spend more than $5). The farmer frittata sandwich I got was very flavorful and the egg was cooked perfectly.

I’m from Asheville, where you can’t walk in a straight line without tripping over a half-dozen five star eateries, and I think it’s fair to say that Potchke is the best meal I’ve had in a long time. My wife and I shared the Rip-and-Dip and the hot borscht soup and it was incredible. Just like home cooking with fresh ingredients prepared with love. The staff was friendly and fantastic and the atmosphere was charming, though I’m told it can get crowded when the college is in session. I’ll make the 90 minute drive from Asheville to eat here again.

An actually hidden gem that was happily recommended to us out-of-towners or else we'd never have known it was there. Potchke has a trendy and sweet ambiance with excellent food. While everything we had was delicious, the lemon poppyseed babka was *transcendental.* Make a visit if you're in town.

We were introduced to Potchke yesterday by friends—I had the Potchke Salad and my partner had the mushroom Reuben. Both were amazing. By late last night, we decided to go back—TODAY! Today’s feast: matzoh ball soup and borscht. And a lemon poppyseed babka (with lemon curd). We can’t keep going there everyday….but definitely would want to. Can I give it 6 stars?

This was a last minute pick and we were not disappointed. One of the best Americanos I’ve had this side of the Atlantic and they can do almost everything gluten free. Which for me as someone who is gluten free I was ecstatic. I had the whitefish bialy and my husband had the mushroom Rueben. The whitefish was delicious but the mushroom Rueben was phenomenal.
