The best fried chicken! Great flavor. Do not try the sauce alone, please dip the chicken in the sauce, it makes both the chicken and the sauce much better. Love the coconut, and love how they can open it for you when you finish the juice. Haven’t had that for so long, and the coconut is 10000%. The only problem will be the dinning area. There are too many flies all around. Will get take out the next time.

Excellent! You have to find parking on the street, then head over to the strip that says The Wash. My 😍 favorite thing was the mango fried rice! Don't get me wrong, the chicken was tasty. I enjoyed the experience of layering the amazing sticky rice, chicken and veggies married with the sauces. But that crispy golden rice cube made me do my happy dance! Best thing I've tasted in a long time. Yes, there are flies. You are outside. If they bother you get it to go.

WOW!!! If you are ever in the area, try this new spot at The Wash in East Nashville. This is the Thai Chicken House that we needed. I ordered both the chicken entrees. One was grilled and the other fried. This food was so good that it will put you in a bad mood if you have to share it. Every bite is important! Get enough for everyone and go try everything on the menu!!!

Food and service are great! It helps me not missing Hat Yai fried chicken in Thailand a little bit. It is the same concept with fried shallots on top on fried chicken but not as flavorful as a regular Thai fried chicken you can find in Thailand. Don't get me wrong. I really enjoyed the meal but I set a very high expectations because of some influencers on Instagram said this is an authentic Thai fried chicken. Warning: The Wash doesn't take care of the flies issue in outdoor seating area. If you can't stand flies joining your meal, please do a takeout. I went there 2 times and I had to shoo the flies while I was eating every 2 seconds. It really ruined the meal.

The food was so good, so fresh! We ordered a four piece Gai Tod to share, mango sticky rice, and two coconut drinks. You wrap bits of chicken and fresh veggies and rice in lettuce or cabbage, dip it in a sauce of your choice, and voila—party in your mouth. The coconut drinks were refreshing and such a fun presentation, and the mango sticky rice cubes were a delicious ‘topper’. I also ordered a drink at the bar which was a bonus of this multi-restaurant setup. **I should say, the night we went late July around 6:30pm the flies were absolutely HORRIBLE—like, the worst we’ve experienced in the US—we were swatting them away constantly which made it stressful to eat our food. My wife was surprised actually that she didn’t eat a fly. But not sure if the restaurants can do much about this? Didn’t want to take away from the five star food. When my wife went to lunch on a hot day earlier in the month with a friend, there were no flies, which is why she recommended it so highly to me. So my advice would be - maybe get it to go, if you see there are flies around?

Absolutely incredible experience each and every time I visit. I look forward to eating here from the minute I finish a meal until I count down to the next one. The staff is incredibly kind and knowledgeable. The food is always cooked to perfection and the mix of fresh veggies, flavorful sauces, and delicious chicken make me do a happy dance with each bite. I can’t stop telling everyone I talk to about this place. I look forward to watching them grow with great success in the coming days!!

This is fantastic fried chicken with great service. The chicken and rice were delicious all on their own. The sauces included were extremely flavorful as well. Definitely worth visiting

The fried chicken is top tier. Very crunchy and flavorful. I also love the bed of crispy onions that come with it. I’m not a huge fan of the sides that come with it (sticky rice and mixed salad) but I think they complement the meal very nicely. The burnt coconut drink is good too.
