My first visit. When to brunch with family. The restaurant was pretty busy but the wait was only fifteen minutes. Good atmosphere. Clean. The food was delicious, the grits with cheese and French toast is a must. Our food came out in a timely manner. Big portions. Everyone had food left over and no complaints. Our server, Taismine, was beyond excellent.

We had friends in town to celebrate hubs birthday. They wanted to treat us to breakfast and hubs favorite place for French toast is Top Hat. We arrived and was greeted and seated quickly. I got the veggie scramble and hubs got their famous French toast with bacon on the side. This wasn't our first time at Top Hat deli and certainly will not be our last. Great food, great service and great kind energy with the staff is all anyone wants when eating out. You will be back, just like us.

Sadly I wasn't super impressed with this meal. My wife and I came in to place a to-go order. It took about 5 minutes before someone came to us to take our order even though we were standing in front of the counter the entire time. There was not a ton of room to sit and wait while the food was being prepared. I found the meals to be pretty pricey, with my wife and I almost paying $40 for two simple deli sandwiches. While I enjoyed the taste, I would not say I enjoyed $40 worth of food. I do not think we will be coming back here

The matzah ball soup was good, but the chicken was a bit dry. Cucumber salad was also good but a bit on the sweeter side for my tastes. The baked goods at the front looked delicious. I'll definitely be back to try more on the menu.

Stopped in for my first time on a recommendation. It was clean, comfortable, and the service was very attentive and good. I wanted a good Ol' fat pastrami sandwich on seedless rye. I was told they didn't serve that and their Big Classic Pastrami sandwich was recommended with seasoned fries. It was served on a soft bun. Interestingly, it had sauteed onions and some sort of white cheese on it. It was good, but not what would have liked (personal decision). The pastrami itself was cooked a little differently but it did contain the fat necessary for a good pastrami. They also had Dr Brown's soda which is a must in any Jewish deli. I didn't get to see a menu so I don't know if this was a true Jewish style deli. The prices were very good and I believe you'll enjoy a good meal here. Try it yourself! I'm sure that you will get a good meal here. BTW: they were very meticulous with cleaning tables, the floor, everything! And, there's excellent, ample parking right along side this fine establishment.

Brunch here was great. The host was very nice. She found a spot for my electric scooter and the bartender greeted me quickly. He was also very polite and very knowledgeable of the menu. I at the steak and eggs which was cooked perfectly. Ordered 3 sandwiches to go for friends that all looked delicious as well. Looking forward to coming back and trying more food on the menu.

Great food with big portions! I was debating between the grand schlam and fast break sandwich- happy I went with the grand schlam because I easily could build my own sandwich with leftovers on the side.

First time, excellent service, portions were enough for 2 meals. Clean, spacey and well lit. Flavor was great, they use no salt which I love. Also they served breakfast with toasts with jam. So good, $40 got 2 people a little on the high side but for every now and then works for me

Dined here for breakfast and lunch many times. We picked up friends from the airport on Friday and this was our first stop. We all enjoyed our food per usual and our waiter was attentive and very friendly. The place itself is super inviting with a breakfast bar and they have old fashion candies for purchase too!

My gosh, we had such an amazing breakfast. I was so excited when they put it in front of me that I forgot to take a picture! I had the corned beef hash, 2 eggs over easy, subbed pastrami on the side (so I could taste that too) and a bagel with cream cheese. So much food! The hash was so delicious - made homemade corned beef and shredded potatoes it was so crispy and tasty. I noticed the cookies on my way in, they were huge! But I was so full I couldn't even think about taking one home! However, in hindsight I probably should have! Highly recommend the Top Hat Deli for the quality of its food, the outstanding service and the cool vibe of the place.

Went for the first time, I cannot wait to be back. Our waitress, Lindsey, was beyond thorough and introduced us to different dishes and explained in layman’s terms what certain sides were. Make sure to get the Brookie!

Went here with friends for a little hangover breakfast and it definitely satisfied us. Average coffee and large portions! It’s nothing fancy. There are vegetarian options

definitely one of the best breakfasts i have ever had!! the french toast was so delightful, had fresh strawberries and blueberries, granola and some powdered sugar it was so delicious, fluffy, amazing taste. i could have eaten 2 servings. my husband had an egg sandwich (fast-break sandwich) and he loved it. My son had the grand schlam and he loved his!! portions are incredible. we finished the meal with an apple pie milkshake and oh my, what a treat that was!!! the staff were so very friendly. i totally forgot to take pic of the meals.

I had a BLT with fries while my partner had eggs, bacon, hash brown, and eggs. We also tried the mimosas and latte. The food was good, it is worth a try. I did not like how the waitress brought us the check before we finished ordering, but I understand it’s a busy establishment.

Top Hat Deli- Fort Lauderale I know this place has been reviewed many times before regarding the food and the wonderful service here. But I wanted to point out how important the management as well as the back of house is. We interact a lot with servers and show appreciation for their hard work, but I make it a point to always let the cooks know how great the preparation of the meals were. Unless you’re in the industry you don’t realize how many balls are up in the air and how it is to juggle all of these orders and get them all out perfectly. It’s always great to see a manager working hard busing tables and supporting his staff because this inspires them. To sit back and watch the person expediting the orders and have everything well organized in a calm way is just amazing. And then to understand how the cooks are able to take all of these orders and get them out on time is also incredible. A great restaurant is the well oil machine where everyone appreciates their coworkers hard work and drives the success of it. It’s good to see that this group takes pride in training their folks and allowing their success. So the next time you go somewhere, please take a moment and go to the back and tell the back of the house how great they did!

The place has a diner vive! It is definitely a modern and more sophisticated version of a diner. It is a clean, welcoming and relaxed place. We visited for lunch and our sandwiches were delicious. I am a chicken salad sandwich lover! I just wish the consistency of the chicken salad was more blended so the Sandwich held together better. Even, with the chopped consistency the sandwich was delicious and I will have it again. The menu looks very appetizing and will definitely be back to try other plates. The place also has a full bar!

Amazing! 100% recommend this place. Our server Tais was so helpful and friendly! She recommended excellent dishes. We ordered the Grand Schlam and the Corned beef hash and split. The pic is half and half. The pastrami and the corned beef are out of this world good. Comfortable atmosphere and family friendly. Definitely will come here again!

This is easily my favorite breakfast place in all of Fort Lauderdale. The food is tasty and fresh. The service is very friendly. The prices are reasonable as well. Love coming here and bringing people for fresh food and fruit bowls

Great brunch option (and other meals too!). I had the Corned Beef Hash and the Deli Mary. The staff was accommodating to our requests.

I must say this is one of the most amazing dining experiences I've had. The food was incredible as was the service. Our server (Tais) made the experience that much more enjoyable. If you are looking for a great environment and great food in Fort Lauderdale, I highly recommend Top Hat!! 💯👌

Top Hat is a top experience mostly because the servers are very nice and accommodating. This is a good place to indulge in your comfort food cravings and end the meal with a nice big pickle. The chicken pot pie is a fun eat because the pastry is so fluffed. I also recommend the French fries which are both warmed and well seasoned.

Really good venue with plenary of parking. Can sometimes be noisy because of acoustics and can be cold so dress appropriately. Food items for breakfast are interesting and delicious. Large portions. Salads on the menu need more description as the names don’t necessarily convey the ingredients. Service is friendly and efficient and, in my experience food comes out at appropriate temperature. Pretty good value for the money.

Top Hat Deli’s theme is “be nice” and they lived up to that on my visit. This is an upscale deli catering to those living in Flagler Village. I had breakfast which included an omelet with a side of grits and bacon. The omelet was cooked just right and the eggs were fluffy. The grits were fine and included cheese as was the bacon. There is outside seating in addition to counter and regular seating. The coffee was just so so. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and upscale feeling for a traditional deli.

Honorable mention to TJ/Lindsey/Jenn who were so amazing and perfect service. (Careful the pancakes are made corn meal not cool… 😫) but otherwise perfection!!!
