Beautiful and inspiring! Personally, these gorgeous cemeteries always remind me of the debt I owe to all those buried there. Without them, our lives would be drastically different. Their resting place should be beautiful and should promote respect and reverence. This cemetery captures the very essence of those feelings. Great place to go pay your respect and beautiful to photograph as well.

This place is amazing and because there’s a lot of memories here I found out that Desmond T Doss was buried here. He save 75 teammate when it was world war ll and his teammates trust him so, no matter how bad his teammate is injured he will sent him back home, the story was amazing. The the thing is the was only 24 in 1945 when the war was the end!

The country's first Medal of Honor recipients are buried here; the "Andrew's Raiders" of civil war fame (The Great Locomotive Chase) Also the gravesite of Desmond Doss the first conscientious objector to receive the Medal of Honor for actions above and beyond the call of duty. Nice detour off the beaten path

Visited mother-in-law's grave. I'd never been to a military cemetery. It was very pretty & had beautiful views of the mountains.

Unfortunately I have seen people walking their dogs in the cemetery, dogs are not allowed unless service dogs. I am a dog lover, but I would not let my dog out in the cemetery very disrespectful.

It's very large and quiet. If you take the time to walk through, read, and consider then you'll likely find it very touching. It's also very well kept.

Very special to come here and visit the grave of Desmond Doss, from the movie Hacksaw Ridge. Andrew's Raiders are here also.

The grounds are always beautifully kept. Thanks to the government for taking care of our soldiers and their families and thank you to all the soldiers for their service past, present, and the future. Thanks to those who have given the ultimate sacrifice. May God bless all those who service.

We have always had a good experience at the National cemetery other than the parking situation. For some reason they decide to park the visitors 3 wide on a two lane area beside the pavilion. When they do that, no one can move except the people on the very front! Why not leave the middle lane open so everyone can leave when the are ready?

This is a incredibly beautiful venue, and sacred place. The grounds are meticulously kept. It was a honor for me to pay my respects to so many, that gave so much to this country. Those that served, and those that died defending our country.

Beautiful, scenic, and expertly maintained. I stopped here to see the unique monument to the Andrew’s Raiders and made a few stops around the hill admiring the scenic vistas and sobering reminders of history.

Very beautiful and inspiring. Quiet and peaceful. A great place to reflect and inwardly express your gratitude to our God in Heaven and to those who are willing to serve and maintain our precious freedom. It's a great and honorable place to visit.
