As previous reviews say the seafood is delicious and service was wonderful. But the PRICES are VERY HIGH, even considering that we're a long way from fresh seafood. We got a piece of fish the size of your hand, three pieces of potato, less than half a sausage, and one piece of corn on the cob in a Styrofoam container as one meal. Then three scallops & six shrimp with the same amount of sides as a second meal, for $50 bucks. Yeah, you read that right. FIFTY BUCKS for two take out containers with hardly any sides included. The couple that came in after us looked, and left promptly. They saved a bunch of money honestly. Do not go here unless you want to pay high prices for a small amount of food.

Absolutely the best Po Boy sandwiches I've had in a long time. The catfish my girlfriend had was fresh and clean tasting. The Shrimp was tasty plump and juicy. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Definitely an excellent choice for a tasty lunch or dinner. Oh and by the way they have the freshest seafood around.

Positively amazing products with exceptional service!!! I cooked my own “best” scallops I’ve ever eaten from there tips and tricks!! It’s hard to believe being this land locked we can have seafood this fresh!!!!

BAYOU SOME SEAFOOD!! If you don’t stop in this great little restaurant you will soon regret it! The food was amazing and the customer service was out of this world! We felt like family from the moment we walked in the door. They were quick to accommodate our special circumstances and we left with very full bellies and big smiles. EASILY THE BEST DECISION I MADE TODAY!! We will most certainly be back even though we live over 200 miles away. The experience was THAT DARN GOOD!!! The fried oyster platter was great and you can’t go wrong with the Hoot Plate. But judging from our experience I’m sure it is all great! When it comes to food we are not always easy to please. With a chef as a personal friend we are always looking for a delicious and unique experience and we were not disappointed.

OMG! Mere words cannot describe how impressed I am by the way these folks treat you! From our INITIAL call(I made several ;))...through the pick up, they treated me more like family than a customer! Everything from the Crab Legs to the sides were FANTASTIC! We had 4 of the Colossal King Crab Legs and just over 2 lbs of Snow Crab Legs for 5 crab lovers....Nobody left hungry! The boil you out on them was perfect! And we all appreciated the fact that you cut the King shells. No blood was spilled! And if you don't get it...you haven't eaten many King Crab Legs! While not cheap...you get what you pay for! And then some! Not to mention there is a full selection of Cajun seasonings and assorted other goodies available for your culinary delight! Only problem I had.... they didn't have my size T-shirt!! We will DEFINITELY be back for more! Thank you for your patience and kind smiles.

Hands down if ya want sea food come here. I’m a very picky eater. This place had everything I wanted and knew how to make ya feel at home with there family friendly atmosphere. I ordered 3 pounds of crab legs and was very satisfied with the service to bad 5 stars is all ya can give cause they deserve 10

Best Seafood in all of Tennessee! Awesome real Cajun cooking from absolutely the nicest folks. Seafood is so fresh the only way you get it fresher is if you take it off the hook yourself. Eat in or take out. Great store too. All kinds of Cajun spices and fresh seafood you can buy to take home and prepare yourself. Take the time to go here!! You'll love it! We sure do!!

Got shrimp bubba's way and the tuna dip to go... Fabulous!!! Although I was a minute too late to get mussels I am happy to have the shrimp. Always fresh, always great tasting! Best Cajun seafood in Cookeville!!!

Only have good things to say for Bubba Gandy. The manager was very friendly and the food was great. Our food was out fast and tasted absolutely delicious. We got the 1lb shrimp plate and it was plenty for 2 to split. Overall great experience. We’ll definitely be coming back. Feels like your at the beach in the middle of cookeville.

Bring a cooler, bring an appetite! They cook everything fresh for you and there is no better service in town. Very friendly staff. Food is outstanding! Always try to stop by whenever we come to Cookeville. Worth every penny, every time.

Amazing food! The royal red shrimp tastes kind of like lobster. That's what's in this picture- the Hoot Plate. So good! And the owner is super nice! Don't pass this place up! Will be back again & again!

Best crawfish we’ve found outside of Louisiana. We are from Memphis in town for the week and we were craving some crawfish. This place did not disappoint!

Hands down the best seafood! We had crab, scallops, shrimp, cod, red snapper, calamaria, and etouffee corn chowder(with crawfish). We had most of it blackened it was cooked fresh and tasted great! The scallops were tender no not tough as was the Calamari. I would suggest this to anyone wanting seafood. They also have shark and gator but you have to call ahead. Check out their website!!!!

First time there and the food was absolutely perfect. My scallops were the biggest I have ever had and broiled to perfection. My husbands clams were also tasty. The service was five star. Will definitely be back

Worst seafood I’ve ever had. Not sure if maybe they were having an off day but we spent $50 on catfish po boy that tasted like rotten fish dipped in chemicals on a bed of brown lettuce and soggy calamari. Would give zero stars if I could. You’re better off getting frozen seafood.
