Great food, awesome vibe, friendly service... very quaint and clean, nice decor and look!! Hidden gem!

The restaurant/ambiance was super clean and nice looking. I got the shrimp tempura taco which was nice and crunchy and good sauce to go with it and the pulled pork taco which was a solid portion. Food was delicious and solid prices!

Ive had the pleasure of dining here twice as of this review and both times were exquisite. The first time i ordered pan fried pork goyza, shrimp tempura udon and a strawberry banana smoothie. The goyza was enjoyable, and flavorful yet light. The tempura was so crisp and a beautiful golden brown. The udon was served in a flavourful broth and was deliciously thick and chewy. The smoothie was a great end to the meal with its sweet and fruity taste. The second time i ordered the pan fried pork goyza,(yes again,they're very good i highly recommend this item) the tonkotsu ramen, and a mango green tea. The ramen was exceptional, the slices of pork were firm yet tender. The mango tea was delightful and the beverages are served in a convenient plastic cup with lid so that you can take them with you. Taco & Ramen is a wonderful and friendly establishment and their love and attention to food shines in the items they serve. If you ever find yourself on south street, take the time to try them out for yourself. 10/10 highly recommended!

This food was SO good! I've now tried all of the veggie tacos, and they're delightful! It was such a joy to have so many vegetarian options, and the peach bubble tea might be my new favorite treat (it's so well made!). I'm so excited that they opened.

Was very skeptical about the combination but was also intrigued by it each time I walked by this cute little shop on south st. I finally went to get dinner here; thankfully, I could try both the ramen and a taco as they sell single tacos as well. I tried the fried zucchini and mushroom taco which tasted great. But the highlight of the night was the spicy kimchi ramen which was absolutely lip-smackingly delicious. They even came with these chili threads that added a kick to the broth. Will definitely be back to try other things.

Best vegan ramen in the city. No doubt. I got the vegan miso ramen (that was recommended) and my fiancee got the tantan. Both were delicious. The veggie gyoza were also the best veggie dumplings I've had at a ramen house. The mushroom taco was good- not the best I've ever had, but still quality. I will be going back again next weekend and ordering the same ramen many more times. Service was very very quick as well!

Nice ambience. Clean. Went with wife and 3 young kids (ages 6, 4, 2) and staff was very friendly and accommodating. Service was great. And the food: delicious! The takoyaki was on-point and I HIGHLY recommend the shrimp tempura tacos. Chicken tacos were also good, but if I could order again I'd just get all shrimp. Both the takoyaki and tacos had perfect texture and were very flavorful. Wife says she enjoyed her tonkatsu ramen (kids also slurped it up). Very clean-tasting broth - not oily. We're not from the philly area, but next time when we're in the area we would definitely come here again. Highly recommend!

We were trying to decide whether to come in to this place when a young kid walking in told us “this place is amazing.” They were right!! The tofu and eggplant taco was really good (and big) — nice crispy tofu. And delicious ramen too. Fast service. Would definitely return.

As someone who enjoys pork, I was taken back by how incredible their pork tacos are. I was so pleased with the meals we had today. Will be eating here again for damn sure.

Amazing tacos! Stumbled upon this hidden place and glad we did. The veg options here are really great for both ramen and tacos plus they also offer vegan options. Place is on the pricey side but the portions are filling so can't complain. I had the mushroom zucchini tacos which were delicious but I'd say lacking a little in flavor. Got the matcha milk tea as well and it was pretty good!

Made my first visit, by chance, on 7/21/21. It was pretty good. I had the veggie spring rolls, strawberry and mango smoothie, and shoyu ramen. Dine-in is available. Staff was friendly. Pricing is affordable.

These shrimp tempura tacos (pictured) are a solid, scrumptious meal. Otherwise, I agree with prior reviews remarking on Taco Ramen's ambience, friendly owners/wait staff, and efficient service. Happy to support a new, small-setting restaurant on the block!

Nice decor, EXTREMELY fast service, food came quick, and tasted great. Sampled the tofu and eggplant taco. Crispy and satisfying. I had the Tonkatsu Ramen and my girlfriend had Mayu Ramen. Both very pleased. Tonkatsu broth was a little less strong than I'm used to, but this place has AMAZING vegan/veg options so that may be why. Love all the logo branding too.

Soo glad we decided to go here! Our server was the absolute sweetest and food came out fast! I’m vegan and the options are great!! Got the vegan miso ramen and my sister got the tofu & eggplant tacos. Seriously our new favorite place, it was all PHENOMENAL. Best tofu we’ve had in awhile. 10/10

The Taco is really good . This the best Taco i've ever try. And Pork Gyo.🥟🥟. super soft and juice, special sauce , it will perfect if they add little chilly fresh, they cover a liitle spinach and purple cabage . I love this place too much 🤩🤩🤩 Highly recommend Taco 🌮🌮

This is our second place here, and we’re obsessed. The shrimp tacos are so good, everything is soo good to be honest! The staff are amazing as well. We had the pork gyoza, spicy chicken bites, Italian egg roll, pork tacos and shrimp tempura tacos. Delicious!

Such a cool spot in a great area! The vibe is very relaxed and the service was excellent. Tons of vegan options which was very exciting! Food was really good and price is super reasonable. Highly recommend the soy milk teas, will be back again!

THE best ramen & creative tacos I’ve ever had! The staff was attentive and friendly, small pace but has a very nice atmospheric feel. The ramen broth was rich and flavorful, tacos were fresh, tender with crispy bits. Simply delicious! Def def recommend!

The ramen was just okay, maybe they had an off day as it was a snow day and usual guy couldnt come in. No seaweed a few bamboo shoots a measly few green onions but a good handful of bean sprouts. Noodles was alittle over done for my taste. Terakawa was league ahead. The tempura shrimp taco was great flavor with grrat crunch.

We were there today and our vegan options were really delicious. The people are very friendly and willing to explain everything about what you are gonna get. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR OUR VEGAN OPTIONS we got extremely surprised 🫶🏼 We will be back soon!

Ramen > Tacos We got the Italian egg rolls first. I’m not sure these needed to happen, but at the same time I’m not mad at them. The taro bubble tea was delicious, we got half sugar and it was plenty sweet. The tacos were nice to try and they were well executed, but I think the Mexican places still do it better. The ramen is their Mona Lisa. It was absolutely delicious. We were served quickly and in and out with plenty of time to spare. I’m happy to know about this place.

Visiting town and immediately wanted something warm, spicy and filling. Ordered the ramen and it was perfect. The atmosphere is very chic and the customer service is on point. Even ordered a coffee bubble tea to go!!

Tonkotsu Ramen was classic and delicious. The servers were very kind and attentive. I would highly recommend it!

Taco & Ramen was exactly the kind of relaxed, high quality eating we needed the other night. I was enticed by the good reviews, and they did not disappoint. An LA-style mix of Japanese and Mexican, the tacos and appetizers were beautiful, while the Ramen provided the warmth and savory goodness I was looking for on a cold Fall day. Service was also very very good, with our server kindly checking in on us and offering her recommendations

The food is delicious! We tried the takoyaki and the miso and mayu ramen 🍜 definitely would recommend them. Also, we had the bubble tea as dessert.

This place is so good, I don't even want the world to know 😅 Literally everything about this place is fantastic. My husband and I tried this place on a whim before a concert, and it has now become a must-visit when we are in town. He always order a ramen (which have all been equally enjoyable), and the chicken tacos are the best I have ever had in my life. On a serious note, the atmosphere is extremely cozy and welcoming. The service is exceptional (which is ridiculous because I only ever see the same two lovely people working). The menu has a clear consideration for gluten free and vegan customers. The salads are well portioned, and everything is always super fresh. Dumplings are delicate and delicious....I could continue, but why? Support this business because if they close, I will be very sad.

Came across this place while exploring South Street. I tried their Mayu ramen and a mango bubble tea. The ramen was fantastic, the oil they use is delicious. The bubbles in the tea were slightly undercooked, but the tea itself was very good. The staff were nice and attentive and the food came out quickly. I’m looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes.

Was here before a show Saturday night and ended up traveling through next day and stopped again which in itself is a compliment. Nice straightforward menu, simple with plenty of options. Tasty flavors and everything cooked very well. Very easy going atmosphere. Very small place like many others on the street but very comfortable and spaced well. Polite service and both times food was quite quick. The items marked recommended on the items are definitely worth trying and the green teas are delicious.. tasty and well balanced. Definitely worth adding to your lunch or dinner. All that and priced right. Great place to go get some Tacos or Ramen... the shrimp tempura taco and the fried eggplant and fried tofu is well done.

Delicious tacos and ramen. Very friendly and super nice staff. I ordered a drink and it came out differently from what I expected but the staff quickly replaced another drink without charge and apologized. Price is reasonable priced for the ramen too. Our new go to place and will definitely be back more often.
