Pretty good cookies and ice cream. The ice cream is not the best but still very good. The cookies are huge, soft, and chew with a crispy crust. I really love how clean, well designed, and well-kept this place is. And the service is excellent. The lady that helped me was very kind and accommodating. The only real downside about this place was it is a little pricey. $15 for a cookie and a scoop of ice cream, but I suppose it’s worth it for good quality desserts in the middle of downtown Nashville. I guess high prices are to be expected in a high traffic tourist zone. Worth stopping by, if you have the money. 🍪😋

Another great over the top (in an excellent way) place for dessert. There’s excellent ice cream to usual ways (cones, cups, etc) but then also various other creative combinations with giant fresh baked cookies of various types combine with fudge, peanut butter sauce, and other delights. They also have freshly made key lime pie whole, busy the slice, or on a stick dipped in chocolate! Very clever and different. Anyway, high quality and unique. Worth a visit.

This is in my opinion the best desert bakery in town. They have fudge as well so gf people can still enjoy. Forget your low calorie, dietary restricted, alternative or "vegan" options. This is your 100% everything in there bakery. I mean butter, cream, milk fat and chocolate they use it all and it shows. They have the largest softest cookies in town. There never seems to be a line and when there is it's gone pretty quick. Staff are all very knowledgeable and friendly. This is a great place after dinner or in between honky tonks to catch your breath and enjoy some of the best deserts the city has to offer(get the "emasculated brownie" #no_nuts). All in all I would recommend this place to locals and travelers alike. If you are only going to one bakery in Nashville, I recommend this one for a sweet deal.

For being right off Broadway, it wasn't super busy which was nice. The cookies were AMAZING. Frozen lemonade was good too! Cookies and drinks for 2 people, spend about $20. One of my new favorites for sweets in downtown Nashville!

Great place to fix a sweet tooth. I wish they had fountain drinks with ice. That was the only thing I missed. I like my drinks cold and on ice. My giant cookie was good. They also had key lime pie and ice cream.

Authentic delicious key lime pie in the Nash! This barista makes custom lattes, espresso, flavored cappuccino and more. Highly recommend stopping by this little spot

Great place for a sweet treat - monster cookies, ice cream - check it out after dinner on Broadway - short walk, worth it. Highly recommend that you split the cookie with someone!

This ice cream place was amazing! And the gal working behind the counter was absolutely phenomenal. She knew everything about the flavors they had, let us sample a few and made the accommodations my children asked for. Her attitude and customer service were top notch. Needed to start with that, because service is EVERYTHING to me…as well as flavor. The homemade ice creams were delicious. We got mint chip, brownie, strawberry, confetti, turtle, a blue flavor, and so many more. Everyone loved theirs. Prices are kind of steep for a quick treat, but you’re in downtown Nashville. It was $50+ for the 6 of us to have ice cream. Worth it to me because we don’t do special treats like that often. I would definitely recommend this place and would come back again. We did not try any of the cookies or other treats since we got the ice cream.

We got some ice cream. I got a prailines and cream and butter pecan. My wife got a cookie dough. It was standard ice cream. Nothing great and nothing bad. Well I almost forgot. Wife said the waffle cone tasted stale. She ended up just eating the ice cream out of it and throwing the cone away. They had some good looking peanut butter cookies topped with peanut butter and chocolate that looked really good. A group next to us said they were really good, but we were in the mood for ice cream. I kind of wish we would have tried another place for ice cream, but would stop back some time to try a cookie. The staff was great!

We were walking by and the delicious smell pulled us inside. 1/2 lb cookies, fudge, brownies, ice cream, coffee; they have it all and it all looks great. I opted for the ice cream over a warm brownie with fudge and it was perfect. The staff was super nice and helpful. Would recommend if you have a sweet tooth craving

Okay we walked by here a dozen times before but I think now they’re piping the smell of the cookies onto the street or something. Our only mistake was not SHARING one of these monsters instead my wife and I both ate our own entire cookie after dinner the other night. It was my sugar and carb count for a week but it was worth it. Like any good cookie should be they were soft and chewy. I hate crunchy cookies so these were spot on for me.

You can’t pass up this cookie and ice cream shop. Literally! The smell of fresh baked cookies is so enticing you will find yourself in the door. We ordered some healthy servings of ice cream along with one giant chocolate chip and pecan cookie to take home. We didn’t eat the cookie till the next day but it was still soft and tasty after leaving it in the paper bag overnight. Would definitely recommend

They have huge gluten-free dark chocolate dipped macaroons! So yummy! They have gigantic cookies that will feed a really hungry adult or 3-4 kids. Got a couple to take back home to my family. The service was great! The guy working was fun and very friendly! Definitely make this is a stop for some sweet treats!

So happy we stopped here on our trip to Nashville as we were walking by on our last night! It was DELICIOUS!! The options were almost overwhelming! My sister and I shared an ice cream and humongous cookie as we couldn't pick what to get! About $7 for one scoop of ice cream (a tad pricey when we are a family of 5), however "one scoop" was more like 3 big scoops! Definitely got our $7 worth and it was so yummy that we could not complain! The interior is super cute and the staff were wonderful as well!

The toasted Coconut and Cuban Coffee Milkshake was recommended by the staff, and it was spot on, Yummy. I enjoyed the milkshake so much, I also ordered a key lime pie and hot chocolate chip cookie for later.

There are a few ice cream shops with-in walking distance of each other right in this area but the cookies here really make this shop stand out. They also carry some fantastic pies and this great pie slice dipped in chocolate and served on a stick! Of course the ice cream is great also but ice cream is pretty much ice cream so come for that but indulge in the baked irems.

Incredible ice cream with great service! Good selection of cookies and fudge also. A great place to get a scoop and hang out or grab one and stroll downtown. Definitely worth a stop or a return.

The ice cream and the waffle cone completely untouchable I can't recall a place that has done a better job. The cookies are to die for. I stood outside and call myself just sampling buttttt yeah I ended eating the entire thing. People were literally just watching me eat my ice cream and cookie. My expression had to be worth a million words cause they started going inside and ordering cookies too. I watched them and seen their look of approval as they were also not able to move either. Just stand their and enjoy that tasty sweet snack.

This family run business is the perfect place to grab a sweet treat any time of day (but especially right before or after hitting the bars nearby!) The staff was SUPER FRIENDLY and the cookies and ice cream to die for. The cookies are huge and definitely shareable, but you won’t want to! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for something sweet.

We really enjoyed coming into Matthiessen’s for dessert! The half a pound cookies are delicious and freshly made! The staff is friendly and helpful when deciding on what to get! I’ll definitely have to come back when visiting Nashville again!

Ice cream was good. Cookies were good. My only complaint would be that they are Not Nut Allergy Friendly. So one of my kiddos was not able to enjoy it. 😕 Some places we go they will go to the back and open a new untouched container of ice cream for kids with a nut allergy. Maybe in the future they could do that.

Visited 6/3/22 The smells are delightful! The fudge is so good, they make it in house per the gal helping us. This is a must stop in! The cookies are so soft and good.

Once you open the door, the smell drags you inside. Their espresso coffee shots is really one of the good ones. Pastry is delicious. Definitely will be back for the ice cream.

Stop in for delicious treats. I visited in Oct and enjoyed a pumpkin ice cream milk shake. It was the best!! Perfection with a straw. I also enjoyed a fresh baked coconut macaroon. The choices are grand! Relaxed atmosphere with sample of the diff flavors of ice cream.

We were craving dessert late at night so we stopped in and got a huge cookie ice cream dessert for 2 of us to share. Christopher was so nice and friendly. He really made our experience a great one. It was late at night and he could have been irritated and rushed to get out, instead he was welcoming and patient. Thank you! We can't wait to stop by again.
