Our favorite part was the spa - hot sauna rooms with a view of the mountains and garden, refreshing showers, and steam room. The attention to detail was incredible, ranging from herbal tea to relaxing loungers to a statue of a frog king "croaking" steam. It all combined for an extraordinarily relaxing experience. We were impressed that the owners clearly put in a lot of care into this. The room was nice: traditional and clean with big windows that gave great views as well. The food was also memorable -- my favorite items at breakfast are the fresh bread, meat/cheese, and the muesli. Maybe it is just Switzerland, but I've never liked breakfast more! We enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant too, in particular the ravioli with cheese and vegetables, the mountain herb salt with bread, and the honey creme brulee with rye crumbles and sea buckthorn sorbet. Honestly, we were impressed with the balance of the sweetness of the honey and custard with the tartness of the sea buckthorn. The food was clearly made by people who prioritized good taste and textures. And finally, the staff were all kind and helpful, in particular the waitresses and front desk. I appreciated how welcome they made the guests feel, especially making sure to communicate to people who cannot speak the language. We are already planning to be back next year. Wir hatten als Familie zu dritt für 8 Tage ein 20 m² Classic Zimmer mit Balkon und Bergblick Blick inkl. Frühstück gebucht. Der Service war sehr freundlich und das Frühstück wunderbar. Es hatte alles, was das Herz begehrte. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist unbeschreiblich wunderschön. Der Wellness Bereich, vor allem die Bio Sauna, sind wirklich schön, die Atmosphäre und der Ausblick vom Wellness Bereich tragen zu einer tiefen Entspannung bei. Man kommt schnell mit der Gästekarte mit dem Bus nach Interlaken-Ost, und von da kann man mit dem Jungfrau Pass mit der Bahn z.B nach Grindelwald First, Jungfraujoch oder vor Ort in Interlaken zum Harder Kulm einen Ausflug machen.Danke auch an den Junior Chef Fabian Salzano und den Front Office Manager Alexander Zemke, die uns immer wieder gut zu den Ausflugzielen beraten haben.

We had a great dinner here. The staff is very polite and professional, they really make the dinner a nice experience. The menù is made with fresh and high quality products. All dishes were well prepared and delicious.

This hotel is a little bit away from the more busier Interlaken, but that is what makes a stay here peaceful and relaxing. You can easily walk from the West station to here, however. Get to know the regular bus schedules so you can plan your trips accordingly. There are two stops nearby; one is just a quick walk down to the road and the other is about a 10 minute walk towards town. Lake Thun is also nearby in the opposite direction. The views here are immaculate. We regularly sat on our deck and drank and took in the views. The staff was also accommodating and friendly. Even when we incorrectly came in too early for breakfast, they still sat us and got the food ready for us and we were still done in time to make the early bus. We will definitely be back again.

The perfect location away from tourists!! I would bet this is what people expect from Switzerland when traveling for vacations. If you stay in between of Interlaken Ost or West, things will be very "touristry" and noisy. This hotel is away from all of that, close to the farms and the paraglading fields. Both sunrises and sunsets are DELIGHTFUL!! If you have the chance to have Miss Cecini as your host when checking in you will know everything will be fine when you see that bright smile. Breakfast buffet is beyond (best müsli I tried on 2 weeks traveling around Switzerland) but if you can stretch your budget try their dinner menu for an unique experience for your palate. The only downside is that the closest bus stop (Unterseen, Schiessstand Lehn) to the hotel stops working at 7pm, then your other chance is Unterseen, Breite Bus Stop but if you are carrying a lot of luggage it might be troublesome for you, but of course this is something the hotel can't be accounted.

My stay at Salzano hotel was absolutely perfect. The room was cosy and the spa is amazing! You really feel in the middle of the nature and it’s extremely relaxing! I also ate at the restaurant and had one of the best pasta ever! 10 out of 10 👏🏼

Das Restaurant bietet eine fantastische Küche, frisch und fein, sogar glutenfrei hat super geklappt. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder, die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter ist nicht aufgesetzt, sie wirkt echt und das ganze Hotel scheint TOP zu sein. Wir haben nur das Restaurant kennengelernt und dieses hat uns sehr überzeugt.

Honestly I haven t been sleeping here, only dinning, but I had such a delicious experience ☺️. I like the dresses od the waitress, the tone of voice the bread and some entry we could try before main dish, the fact that we received recommendation, that they cook with a lot of local vegetables. There is a special menu for kids, plate with cartoons and animated glas with eco straw to drink with. Outside kids could enjoy some fresh grass, with slide, swing and others. Close to our table was something really romantic prepared with candles and flower petals. I was jealous 😁.

Comparable to and deserving of 5 stars due to the attention to detail and outstanding service with a family-run yet exceptionally professional approach from all staff. We also appreciated the down-to-earth atmosphere and inclusion of nature in every way, from the rooms to the restaurant and spa. Highly recommend the set menu dinner at the restaurant. Definitely the best spa we have experienced.

Certainly. --- Just outside of Interlaken, Salzano stands with dignified restraint. The bacon salad, understated yet profound, prepares one for the pork chop, a testament to culinary precision. The ice cream dessert, a thoughtful union of chocolate, chili pepper, and cranberries, showcases innovation grounded in tradition. At Salzano, simplicity resonates louder than extravagance.

Very comfortable stay but the best part of it would be the food a the restaurant. Very delicious and worth a visit just to eat here! Attentive service at the restaurant and at the hotel.

There is a disgusting smell in the rooms, especially in the bed. I asked them to change it and they did not respond, room service is not eligible The place is nice and quiet. The breakfast is beautiful and the view is amazing.

Came to take the 6 courses special menu, weren't able to take because some guests at our table weren't taking it but were rather taking the 3 courses sub-menu of the full special menu and we were told that the whole table should take the same number of courses. (I ate several times in 1, 2 and 3 stars Michelin restaurants were there was no problem for the kitchen nor the service to handle different numbers of courses. Anyway ...) So we said that we were all going to take the 3 courses menu and were brought the normal menu book, basically being denied to try the special menu. No worries, we did not complain. The food was nice, the service was very nice (even too much nice at some points, keeping constantly checking on use, but it's better than the opposite). One real problem : the flies : big or very small, a lot of them, a nightmare, and we were eating inside. Last point : we had real problems to pay by card and our payments were declined several times in front of other clients when at the end, after a reboot of the card payment terminal machine, it functionned. As far as I remember, I didn't hear a single "sorry" for that.

This Beautiful hotel feels quintessential Swiss. The arrival is charming and the service is amazing. The rooms are spacious but make sure you ask for a view from the rear of the hotel. There are soo many thing to love Here, the only real problem is the distance it is away from Interlaken and Thun. Bus transport is on point though. Would definitely recommend if you're after a quiet almost country/farm like stay!

We had a really wonderful honeymoon stay at Salzano. Every person we interacted with was friendly - especially our waiter in the restaurant! Our dinner was delicious and breakfast was varied and a good start to the day. Rooms were clean and bright, beautiful view from the balcony, bathrooms renovated and immaculate. The spa was luxurious and relaxing. The bus stop into town is close and runs regularly. Only complaint is that there are quite a few flies. Thank you so much!

We checked 5 other hotels in Interlaken before deciding on this one. Definitely worth to stay. Service was amaizing and great hospitality.

We did not stay here but had dinner in the restaurant. The 4-course menu had a fair price, dishes were really delicious and nicely presented. The waiter who served us was so friendly and polite.

We had an incredibly exceptional stay at Salzano Hotel. The staff is family run, and from the moment we walked in, they were exceptionally kind, and by the end of our stay we felt like they were family to us. Fabian is such an amazing person and he became our good friend. Same with Alex. The spa was amazing, 3-4 different types of saunas and steam rooms, ice sink, beautiful showers, an amazing chill room with a stunning view of Unterseen. The breakfast was also exceptional and FREE, beautiful meats, cheeses, jams, honeys, fruits, yogurts, cappuccino and espresso, fresh bread and more. We will be recommending Salzano Hotel to all our friends and family who visit Unterseen.

Is a nice small hotel and beautiful. The Spa was perfect. I recommend to stay in a room with a view to the ⛰️ in the back. The restaurant service is top notch and the food so good and we presented. Of our few night we ate more than once. Have to give super five star to the following staff due to their beyond service (no specific order): Sandro, Pricilla, Luuk and Elen.

My husband and I were lucky enough to be able to stay at the Salzano for a week! During our stay we ate at the restaurant which was phenomenal “good soup”, had incredible experiences at the spa Thank you Nina, and finally made use of the on site Saunas which were beautiful. Our room was simply perfect! Fabian, and everyone else at the hotel at the desk was so incredibly kind. It was really a pleasure to stay at this charming hotel. Thank you!

The rooms were very comfortable with a little patio. We booked the basic rooms as they are in the little "cottages", giving it a very cozy feeling and it was very quiet. Thank you to all the staff for a great time! :) We will definitely be back!

Please note: we did not stay at the hotel, but we ate at the restaurant for dinner. The food tasted amazing and the presentation for each dish matched. Locally sourced ingredients and unique flavors. Staff was very knowledgeable and kind.

Booked the hotel directly with great advise and help over the phone. The place has got a very personal touch, very charming. Wellness worth while, even with Corona guests could get enough time in all the various places. Super clean and constance attention from staff. Breakfast worth while and dinner even better. All staff multi lingual, what more do you want for a get away?

The hotel itself has a lovely restaurant and bar area with excellent food being offered at very reasonable prices for the quality. The wine selection and advice was also remarkable. This said, the rooms and particularly the bathrooms disappointed us a lot for the price (300CHF), although this price applied on a busy weekend night.
