I have been a fan/customer of Waso from the very beginning of their business, a small team with heart-warming healthy and authentic Japanese lunch service is just what we all needed in London. Now since lock-down, with their ever expanding menus and collaborations with other small catering businesses (Ramen, Thai, Chinese, Korean), they now deliver wide areas even outside of London the same flavour just frozen for convenience, and even started delivering the authentic Japanese groceries with reasonable prices, I can't recommend enough. Their service has massively helped my lifestyle, not having to cook when busy//tired. Very excited to find out what they introduce next (menu, services).

Food was amazing!! Food was delivered with detailed heating instructions - very easy to follow. Every dish was tasty - I ordered the Black Cod which was flavoursome and moist. If you're looking for authentic Japanese food delivered to your door, then you will not be disappointed. Well done WASO - just what is needed during another lock down.

I have been a fan of waso since they started off as a small business. Now that I don’t go to the office anymore this home delivery is a life saver. Quality of the food has stayed very good and authentic. There’s good instructions on how to best serve your food, which I think is great. Definitely oven those fried items as it makes a big difference!

Nice quality home cook style Japanese lunchboxes with different menu everyday. Each box comes with main, rice and salad (very healthy). They are not heavily seasoned which I like. I can tell their team has put in a lot of effort designing the dishes and the ordering process. Highly recommended if you want something not from the high street and something healthy.

Good quality sashimi grade seafood with easy to follow defrosting instruction. All my family enjoyed every piece of them. Will definitely order again!

My partner and I are missing Japan so I ordered a selection of bento from Waso after being advertised them on Instagram. I wanted to share my experience as someone outside of London enjoying them as I struggled to find many people ordering them for something that isn't sushi. They arrived still completely frozen (one of the best experiences I've ever had ordering fresh/frozen food online) the bentos looked quite small but were the perfect size and very filling! I did make a mistake and didn't defrost them before cooking so I did cook them from frozen but now I know for the future. They looked and tasted perfect dished up into some cute bento boxes, they made a perfect lunchtime treat! I've already put in a second order with Waso ❤️

I'm a Japanese person who lives in the U.K. I used to buy most of Japanese ingredients from a different company, however since I came across this waso tokyo online I have been buying most of the ingredients for my Japanese cookery lessons and for my family meals. The biggest difference is that waso tokyo listens to customers voice and improve their products and service. Especially, their sashimi-grade raw fish is excellent. When I first tried their sashimi, I thought it was as fresh as sashimi which I used to eat in Japan. There's another reason which makes me trust this company. The fish monger in this company used to work as chef at a Japanese restaurant for 15 years and he knows how to do with raw fish. In Japan, most sashimi served at restaurants have been sterilized by deep freezing. Waso tokyo does exactly the same way in the UK. There are some Japanese people who eat raw fish straight up from the sea, however they are aware of the risk they are taking. I have tried some raw fish from the fish counters local in Stroud area where they say "SASHIMI GRADE", however it wasn't as fresh as I expected it would be.

Healthy, tasty and good quality bento. We order almost every week and it's been a great addition to our menus. I'd love to see a few more dishes and a better web ordering experience but other than that we are pretty happy with it. Give it a try if you are into Japanese food!

Have been a regular repeated customer since first time buying. Their quality does not fluctuate so whenever I’d like to have sashimi dinner, Waso is always my first choice. And, they do have excellent after-sales service, whenever you found problems of your order, even 1 week later, they will follow up and get it settled. High price? Nothing is cheap now in the UK! If you will consider quality more than anything, try it.

I first use WASO when the pandemic started. And they have improved significantly. Reliable deliveries, and delicious food, albeit few glitches in re-heating methods. It has continuously become our household food staples provider

WASO is a completely trustworthy food delivery company. I'm always satisfied with their service and their food. They deliver the best quality sashimi I can get in Oxford. And their packaging is splendid. Packages from WASO have never broken nor defrosted. If only the size of the fish portions were a little bit larger... But with that quality (it's really fresh and tasty), I would say I have nothing to complain about.

Such a delight to find these folks! They deliver the hard to get Japanese groceries you need (well, that I needed) nationwide, they sell just amazing frozen, premade bentos and Japanese dishes in plastic-free containers and their team are just a delight. I had a minor issue with a delivery (an item didn't make it into my shipment) and the team fixed it within hours of me flagging the issue.

First time order. Real japanese food and very delicious! They delivered everything I ordered to my doorstep. WASO is so much better than my local takeaway. Definitely will order again. Highly recommend! I'm happy with the service and food. :)

Couldn't be more disappointed in this allegedly premium Japanese food delivery operation. Very high prices lead to expectations of quality, but sashimi unevenly cut, some of it in large chewy chunks rather than slices. Some of it frozen so long the texture had turned to mush. Not a skerrick of truffle in the yellowtail in truffle sauce (just ponzu dressing). Wasabi comes in the tiny packets you get in the cheapest of takeaways, no gari, items missing from the order. All at ridiculous prices.
