Gallo’s Kitchen and Bar has ample space inside for seating and a nice big bar. The food is all great and I’ve never had a bad meal here. The staff is also really friendly and knowledgeable. They have a great wine and beer list as well. The atmosphere is great and I think if you’re in the area and want to celebrate something special you should definitely check it out.

Not only is the food beyond amazing, the staff was so kind and welcoming.

Had reservations for 5pm with a friend I haven’t seen in quite some time. We ordered an appetizer, and a couple drinks. Our server was great. We then ordered soup and a salad, the our entrees. We each ordered another drink and enjoyed conversation while we finished. The manager (?) came over and asked to separate the table that seats 4 so she could seat others. We obliged. 10 minutes later, she started cleaning off our table and said “I don’t mean to rush you, but,yeah I am rushing you, I need this table for other reservations”. We were there 2 hours and spent over$100, and were literally pushed out. Not impressed.

Cute ambiance. Limited but good menu some low priced items and some higher. We had two pastas the meat and pomodoro. Tea was only 2.50. Will update review when we go back. Their creole dish on rice looked good but looked like a LOT of seafood which they seemed to have a lot of dishes for...

Food is absolutely phenomenal, drinks were fantastic and the service was superb! Really kind and accommodating staff. I loved all the food I ordered so much I couldn’t put my fork down. If you are an avid food lover please go here for creole and Italian! Can’t wait to go back! Also the desert is just as fabulous! Thank you for a wonderful experience! Sadly I was so excited about the oatmeal cream pie cheesecake I forgot to take a picture before inhaling it but 10/10 recommend.

We met Jennifer, The assistant GM by mistake. She was awesome. She answered all of our questions and gave my date and I a tour of the new wine room explaining how it came to be. Tommy our server provided us a guest experience second to none. The combination. Of Jennifer and Tommy made the “price of admission” well worth it. I’ve not had a better experience anywhere. We even got to meet Tommy Gallo who did not disappoint. We will make this a place to come for all our special occasions and beyond.

Food and service were great. Had a reservation, but were seated in a corner where we were not across from each other, under a loud speaker, and beside the restrooms. Wife was seated to my left due to layout, but could not really look at her without the women's restroom door constantly being open making conversation uncomfortable. Would give it another try on food and service alone.

Great place. Atmosphere was great. The food is exceptional. Our waiter Mike was on top of everything. A very enjoyable meal.

Go early. Go often. It's a small place but food is amazing. Had reservations for 5:30 on a Friday. Watched it fill up quickening after being seated. Finished 1.25 hours later and they had people waiting outside. Gets a little loud when restaurant is full. Get the calamari. Best ever.

Food was amazing! Seafood Creole was absolutely fantastic. We will definitely be back! Our server Alyssa was awesome.

I absolutely love the vibe of this place. The staff just goes above and beyond what anyone should expect. Whoever is in charge has done an amazing job! We WILL be back

Chef Tommy! I want to apologize. We have not stopped by in a while, you know kids, sports, stuff, life. Well, long story short the wife and I were down in NOLA and once home we were crazing Orleans food. You guys nailed it. I was not a big fan of the polenta. However, mostly everything else was fantastic, especially the crawfish cream sauce, the tomato sauce with the creole seafood dish,and bread. It was fairly loud, but this was mostly due to a large, inconsiderate birthday group.

Great service. Friendly waitress. No desserts.....they ran out even though they kept telling us how good the desserts were.... and we were there early on a Wed. evening. Noisy. Entry was so,so. Think it was just an off night........

I hosted an evening with my women's executive group, Chief. The wine room was the perfect space and the atmosphere inviting. The food was delicious and drinks plenty. Nicole did an amazing job getting us all set and Katie was a very attentive waitstaff member. I highly recommend this restaurant for any event you are hosting, or if you're looking for a great, local dinner spot in Columbus.

Damn good food, great staff. Solid beer selection, wine by the glass via a high-tech machine thing and a very good liquor selection. And if you are lucky Tommy Gallo will be wearing a Championship Wrestling Belt when you are there!

Literally writing this as soon as I got home and sat down after our latest Gallo's experience: This is one of, if not my boyfriend and I's FAVORITE spot in Columbus. The food is always delicious, the staff is excellent + friendly, and I love, love, LOVE how involved Tommy is in all the comings and goings on the floor. I should have written a review for Gallo's well before now, but I wanted to express my heartfelt appreciation for our service this evening, my order wasn't put in at the same time as my boyfriends and my food came out later than intended (totally fine, the food is always phenomenal so I don't mind waiting at all!) and it was more than made up for by the owner + staff. We'll return often as we always planned to but if you've never been to Gallo's and are considering it for the first time: RUN, DON'T WALK, and make a reservation!!! You won't regret it, thanks again!!

Food was fantastic and owner Tony is very personable! I enjoy seeing the owner sit & talk to everyone as if they were long time friends. Only reason I took a star away because our server was okay. Was not personable and seemingly judgmental of myself & my boyfriend. If he gave us the same service & grace as he did with the tables all around us, I would’ve left a raving review and an even better tip (I never not do 20 percent). He constantly ignored us and walked away while we were in the middle of ordering. I ordered the seafood creole (which was absolutely amazing) and he gave a snide remark to my boyfriend when he didn’t want a “fancy dish” (he ordered the pulled pork sandwich). Maybe he was just busy and we’ll be back with hopes of a different server. Blonde server was very nice and helpful.

This is a conveniently located restaurant in Upper Arlington with delicious food. Cajun and pasta are the specialties and every dish we had was outstanding for taste. The downside was that there was not sufficient parking, the place was crowded (attesting to the good food no doubt), and it was extremely noisy. It was hard to carry on a conversation, and the friendly waiter had to shout over the noise, but was still hard to hear. I recommend making reservations, since we went on a Wednesday night and it was packed.

As usual this place is excellent. I had the Seafood Creole and my wife had Chicken Etouffee - both were excellent and portion was pretty big too. The bread was perfect to absorb the sauce from the dish. We came around 6pm and the place was full but we did not have to wait. Parking was full, so we had to park on the street nearby.

Truly one of my favorite places to go in Columbusin 2022. The dishes are stunning and full of flavor. I went with the Seafood Creole, but also get the Étouffée if you can. I would recommend this place to anyone. Shout out to Tommy!
