I personally went to make an appointment for knee rehabilitation with my flyers from an insurance company and they instantly told me that it would take 2 or 3 months. When I proposed the option of paying it individually, the deadlines were shortened to offer me the next day. Without any hesitation, he told me that they do not do manual therapy with the insurance company because they only pay €3 per session and it is not profitable for them. If it is not profitable for you, do not work with insurance companies but do not deceive patients by pretending that it is because rehabilitation cannot wait 3 months. But of course, it is a perfect hook to take advantage of patients' need to do it quickly and have no choice but to take bonuses privately.
