What
a
venue!
The
energy
and
the
scenery
are
simply
breathtaking!
We
attended
an
opera
from
Jiacomo
Puccini
(Maddama
Butterfly)
and
it
was
an
amazing
experience.
A
couple
of
things
to
consider.
1.
Bring
a
pillow
with
you
cos
there
are
marble
seats!
Truth
be
told
there
is
a
pillow,
but
you'll
need
an
extra
one!
2.
Avoid
drinking
alcohol
or
too
much
water
cos
getting
to
the
toilets
requires
you
to
exit
the
venue
and
wait
in
a
line!
3.
There
are
refreshments
stalls
outside.
4.The
venue
is
situated
on
a
cobbled
street
with
slippery
(old)
marbles,
so
wear
appropriate
shoes.
There
is
a
small
forest
in
front
and
to
the
back
so
it
tends
to
get
chilly
at
night,
so
grab
a
sweater.
6.
MOST
IMPORTANT
There
have
been
many
many
accidents
with
getting
up
and
down
the
steep
stairs
once
inside
the
venue.
Last
time,
paramedics
took
a
person
straight
to
the
hospital
with
multiple
fractions.
7.
This
is
an
all-accoustic
venue,
no
speakers
are
allowed,
so
expect
your
operas
to
sound
a
bit....dimmed
as
the
human
voice
can
only
do
so
much
!
