One of the hidden gems in Vadodara for South Indian food. There wasn't rush when we got there. The place has simple ambience with authentic taste at pocket friendly prices . The Ghee Karam Dosa was the best. The owner and staff is super friendly and accomodating.

The place is amazing. Serves excellent and authentic South Indian food. If you love dishes from the south, you must visit this place. The staff is very polite in nature and would also explain to you about different South Indian dishes. The uniqueness about each dish is what would fascinate an individual. This place is really true to its name. And showing the roots of south India thru it’s taste and quality. How to reach :- it’s just behind the tea post, a true hidden gem. Rest follow the address given in the maps. We went for dinner and you should try the following items :- Benne dosa (One of the best dosa I had throughout baroda) it is served w aloo sabzi(bland in taste w goes well) and coconut chutney. A MUST TRY!! Medu vada (Vada were so soft and delicious and the chutney and sambhar makes it more delightful). Rava dosa onion and idli. The quality of food and they make everything fresh. The sambhar and complementary sliders were amazing. The owner Mam is also sweet and helpful. Will surely visit again soon. And for your authentic South Indian craving so visit this place.

Quaint little place tucked away in a quiet alley in Alkapuri , this is a true gem. From the Kaapi to each and every Dosa to the delicately sweet Paramannam every thing is spot on! authentic, home cooked flavours. Ghee Karan Dosa , Open Dosa , Benne Dosa all a definite ‘must try’ . Kudos to the warm family running it. So happy to have found this place 👌🏽

Absolutely the best and most authentic south Indian food I had in Vadodara. A nice family run restaurant that offers real home cooked food, which is so satisfyingly delicious. If you are feeling like eating south Indian food, then do visit this place or else you are missing out.

Generaly food is good but on my this visit i think main chef is not available due to which little disapponited but after all good. If aunty is available to cook its superb taste of south which gou will get there. .Atmosphere is good , cool and calm behaviour is good of staff ,responsive .

I went with a friend and we both loved the food, and the friendly owners. I sincerely hope that the place isn't spoiled by unnecessary hype of influencers. Please let it grow to a large extent but hope that it remains a quiet place to enjoy a peaceful evening as opposed to loud cafes out there. Went there for the first time. Authentic South Indian food. Small and simple place run by a family. Quality and taste of food is really good , though bit on a spicier side. But better than other costlier South Indian outlets.

This place was suggested by a friend of mine, and I must admit, it was all worth it. The taste, the service, the pricing - loved every bit of this place. We ordered 4 different dosas and each one were amazing. The taste was something that I've never had before in Baroda. The chutney's had a different taste, too. This place is now in our go-to list for South Indian meal ♥️

A cozy small place in Alkapuri with authentic taste. When you enter you may have many different thoughts but not being judgemental try the varieties of dosas , Mysore bhaji . All the dosas are served with freshly grinded chutney . The Alam chutney (red chutney ) served was next level. If you want to eat authentic South Indian once must try.
