Ah this place. The most authentic and hygienic place for Chinese food lovers. This food served a wide variety of Chinese veg and non veg (sea food including). Food quality and quantity is satisfactory. Staff is polite and respectful. They have upgraded the place and hence the seating area. Prices are little higher but fairly complemented by the overall experience. Must visit place!

This is a relatively small Chinese eatery at the major hub in Vadodara- RC Dutt Road in Alkapuri.. they serve both veg and non veg authentic Chinese food. The owner Mr. Fong has his roots in China Town of Kolkata, hence food and decor of the place completely satisfy you of you are a lover of Tangra style Chinese food. We had seafood lung fung soup, chicken spring roll, mixed fried rice, American chopsuey and Malaysian Prawn. Service was fast & good. It’s a little bit pricey, However one of the best Chinese food in Gujarat. Highly recommended!

We went to this place while checking out Chinese places around Alkapuri and it turns out to be the oldest Chinese place in Vadodara. Kudos to them for being in business for a few decades but the shop has definitely seen better days. Anyway, the food. We ordered 1 small chicken manchow soup, 1 chicken fried rice and 1 hot garlic chicken. The quantity was apt for two. You would not be super stuffed, neither remain craving for more. You ll be satisfied. The quality was nice. It has the typical Indian-chinese taste of Ajinamoto that we love, a little salty, a little savoury. Tastes good. Hygiene of the place needs a bit of upgrade. There were multiple small insects around and we wouldn't want them to be a part of our meal. Beyond this, all was nice. The service was quick, food was great, loved it.

It was a spur of the moment decision to go to Chung Faa for friday night and we are so thankful for it! Chung Faa is one of the hidden gems of Vadodara, for the restaurant isn't visible directly from the main road. The staff was extremely polite and courteous,helping us in choosing some of the items and telling us about the portion sizes. We had ordered Chichen Talumein soup and prawn in schezuan sauce as the entrée. The soup was delicious and the prawn was crispy yet melted in the mouth. For the main course we had Traditional chicken fried rice and Fish Mandarin. The portion sizes were good enough for two people and the fish was probably basa, made with utmost delicacy.

Love the stew rice there! Great variety and top notch quality food! Just a tip they don't accept credit cards so keep your cash handy or on your e-wallets. The atmosphere is also great! Though the timings are a bit short. So be sure to visit it between the same!

The best place in Vadodara for authentic Chinese food, if you don't mind a bit of expense. The dim lighting can be off-putting, but it actually relaxes you to calm down and enjoy the delight each dish is. Great hospitality too!

Very expensive for the food and ambience they have to offer. The ingredients used are very basic. They should be using better ingredients given the price of the dishes. The wontons were good though 👍🏻

I had visited this outlet to have authentic chinese food and to experiance good ambience..bt disappointed...the place is too conjusted (inside...it feels like this outlet is in mumbai)..service is slow even though the restaurant was 30% occupied... taste is ok-ok...nothing like something different... overall.. not so good..not bad exp..

One of the worst experience of Chinese Food.. They should be more professional to be in food industry.. First of All Order was delayed by 35 mins from Restaurant to Zomato Delivery Person, Chicken Chilli has only 8 pieces of 1inch size chicken pieces at price of Rs.300.. I would have served more big size of pieces at same rate.. I am a foodie and ordered from many restaurants of Vadodara but I have never seen such unprofessional behavior.. Mobile Number provided by them never responded to customer as they never pick it up.. I wonder how they will survive during COVID Pandemic and should get close down due to their own failures..

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool along with the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell them how make minor changes in ordered dish, resulting in a delicious dish.

Very authentic chinese. I have been a regular to this restaurant since i was in school, that is around 2008, consistent taste and quality. Very different from wok on fire. A must try place.

An old Chinese restaurant in Vadodara... Sitting at ground floor is very small and clumsy but the first floor sitting was good. We tried their: Chicken manchow soup: soup was good but the chicken quantity was low Chicken burnt garlic fried rice: rice was ok but the garlic flavour was too strong to taste good. Prawn mangolian: medium sized prawn.. well cooked... But the sauce was very normal Fung pao chicken: chicken chunks were well cooked in a gravy very avarage Overall it was not bad but not that good either.
