nice hotel for family or friends lunch or dinner food. it has punjabi, south Indian and Chinese food menu. I have ordered punjabi food which has yumm taste. price also is in budget. it has AC facilities. and parking space also. with waiting sitting arrangements. also you can get parcel of food if u want.

Doesn't open at 8am as mentioned on it website. Please check the timing before going. We reached there at 8:20 am on a Sunday and they were still not ready, and the staff is also kind. We ended up in Udapi restaurant on the other side of the road. Udapi is a great place.

New Alka is a great affordable restaurant to have South Indian and North Indian food in Vadodara. The fatehgunj branch is the best one among the Alka chain restaurants. I personally like their Punjabi dishes the most. The cheese paneer masala was so good, it had cubes of cheese in it which melted so easily in my mouth and it had a perfect balance of spices. The Masala Papad was crispy and nice. Buttermilk was cool and soothing. Then the mango shake with ice cream was really delicious. The servers don't bother you much but are always a signal away. They have both AC as well as non ac seatings. The only thing I didn't like was that they charge you more if you dine in the AC hall. But still this is a must visit place at least once.

The restaurant is a family oriented and ambience is having a warm welcome.The menu has mainly concentrated on Chinese and south Indian varieties with it.the taste of the food is very good and the budgeted menu. Good option for the family outings and friends party.

My childhood memories wala restaurant. I have been a customer of Alka Restaurant since childhood. There are 4 branches...But Alkapuri and Fatehgunj once are worth visiting. Their Hyderabadi Biryani is Awesome. It is a family restaurant, atmosphere is like that of A Udupi restaurant....prefer the AC side of the restaurant for a good comfortable ambience. Pricing for AC is on the higher side. Food is good as per pricing. Certainly it is not a Fine Dine Restaurant, but a good one for occasional dinners. They are South Indian food specialist but offer everything like Punjabi, Chinese, pav bhaji, pizza etc

Since having food from the new alka for the last 8 years. It's good to spend lunch and dinner time there. The has a variety of food like pav bhaji South Indian, Punjabi, Italian as well but all is up to the mark and authentic flavour always be there. Suggest visit it.

Loved the foood and the service! They happily served us lunch at 4PM which is a blessing as most restaurants don't serve. Plus the owner is very friendly and we instantly hit it off with him as he also belongs to our native place.

The tax is not included in menu they charged extra money I ordered dry manchurian, and chinese bhel both were awful and the quantity was given not enough for the one person. DO NOT EAT HERE!

Extremely costly food. I have seen first hotel in Gujarat who is not serving buttermilk with thali Even simple glass of buttermilk cost is 45. I recommended do not visit. Even service is not up to the mark.

Google didnt allow to give below 1 star. Very bad management behaviour. Today i was suffering from huge stomach pain and ask them to allow me to use washroom, they given plenty of excuses that washroom is clean and lock etc. Infornt of me many staff and other peple who are their client are using washroom but they didnt allow me to use. I have requested them many times and also told them that i will file a legal complain again New alka restaurant, fatehgunj according to rule 1867. Wait and watch.

Budget friendly but not at all upto mark in taste. Worst ever experienced food Idli/Vada sambar, rava masala dosa, pavbhaji, hakka noodles..... All the items were below average in taste.

Don't Order paw bhaji here! We served with stale paw and bad bhaji and my friend got effected by it and have got food poison. Expectation was high from this place as it located at the center of the fategaunj but very disappointed by the bad quality of food. Not even want to give 1 star.

Awasome food. We ate cheese garlic nun with paneer korma and vegetable biriyani. Good ambiance. Fast delivery. Courtois behaviour of staff. We also had breakfast in the morning. The onion tomato uttappam was mind blowing.
