We booked this Hilton hotel for our honeymoon and it was a disappointment. Hotel itself is a beautiful piece of architecture and location is decent. Although it’s very trashy and stinky as you walk out. We were upgraded to a suite and it was a great experience. Clean room and housekeeping is excellent. We had an issue with our bath and front desk was informed multiple times about it, yet it never got resolved. Breakfast was hot and fresh. Executive lounge was also great. I think the front desk didn’t really like us(Americans) except the nice lady who checked us in. Concierge is no help at all. If you’re coming from US, I’d say explore your options. Front desk gives a bad reputation for Hilton brand and discourages people from booking again.

My 5-night stay at Hilton Opera Paris in March 2023 was wonderful. The hotel's central location, just steps away from the subway and bus stop, made exploring Paris effortless. Our upgraded accommodations allowed us to experience two types of rooms—an executive room and a standard room (I forgot exactly which room type it was). Both were comfortable retreats with plush beds and captivating city views, earning approval from my discerning mother-in-law. Evenings in the Executive Lounge, accessible through my Hilton Diamond Membership, were a highlight. The lounge featured a diverse array of culinary delights, and its sophisticated ambiance provided the perfect setting for unwinding after a day of exploration. The breakfast buffet, while consistently delicious, could benefit from a bit more variety. However, the overall positive impression of our 5-night stay was heightened by the impeccable service, with the staff's warmth and attentiveness adding a personal touch. In conclusion, the Hilton Opera Paris, with the added perks of my Hilton Diamond Membership and the experience of two types of rooms, offers a perfect blend of luxury, convenience, and culinary excellence.

Stellar Service and Comfort at Hilton Opera House Hilton Opera House is a blend of superb location, impressive dining, and exceptional service that notably enhances your stay. Its prime location offers easy access to various city attractions, making it an excellent choice for exploring the city. The Executive Lounge and the breakfast restaurant are particularly noteworthy with a robust breakfast, offering an array of pastries, cheeses, fruits, and seafood, that competes with a full buffet spread. The dinner happy hour, offering quality food in a cozy retreat, is an added bonus. Though rooms are compact, they are clean and pristine, and the fantastic shower pressure adds to a rejuvenating experience. Despite an early arrival and minor hiccups with our safety box, the service quality was exemplary. Johan, in particular, transformed our check-in process into a smooth and comfortable experience. His exceptional service left us feeling welcome and valued throughout our stay. For Hilton Diamond members, this property offers a truly delightful experience, amplifying the benefits of your membership. In summary, despite minor room issues (took long time to repair the safety box), Hilton Opera House shines with its excellent service, delightful food, and prime location. It comes as a strong recommendation for travelers seeking a perfect blend of comfort and convenience.

Most important: The rooms are comfortable, the AC worked well, and the bathroom was cold but showers had great pressure. The hotel has a low light ambience, it is a pretty hotel and could use brighter lights. We had breakfast included, it was great - loads of choices, coffee, fruit and pastries. The staff is helpful, in the French way that you expect. We enjoyed our stay, and recommend this hotel.

Beautiful building with a ton of history, and fantastic location to boot. Spacious rooms with views of the busy streets below. On-site bar and restaurant are pleasant. No parking on site, but a large garage is located less than a block away at the train station/shopping mall. Came back from dinner and found drinks and snacks in the room with a note wishing safe travels back home. Best Hilton experience I’ve ever had.

We stayed here for a few nights. The rooms are small but clean. Staff was excellent, superb service. Everyone was polite and kind. Executive lounge had good food in the evenings. Our last night, they served beef and carrots, then came out with paella. Mint water- delicious

Get the up graded room…. If you do will be money well spent….. three separate rooms for the restroom Shower Vanity / Bathing Tub / WaterCloset….. all with heated floor turn the AC on and the marble and tile floors heat up nicely. Huge elegant rooms for dressing and sleeping also TV but your in Paris who needs TV…… The Staff take care of all your needs…. Go as or upgrade to Diamond Member

I guess if it’s going to be called the Paris Hilton (my word swap), then it should be 1st class. It’s all that with friendly and top notch service. One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. Thank you. Room was gigantic for any city standard. The front desk and breakfast teams were a lesson in customer service. And centrally located and all the other positive things already posted.

Great location, impeccable service, and well maintained room. The hotel is a great mixture of old building with character and updated room with modern facility. Breakfast buffet has good variety. We were greeted warmly. The staff were extremely attentive—if we stood there with luggage or seemed to be looking for help, there would be someone coming to us immediately. I would definitely consider staying here again when we come back to Paris.

This hotel has very nice clean rooms with upscale linens. I stayed in a upgraded suite and I loved it. We had free breakfast that was really good. Lots of choices, fresh. The lobby bar it's beautiful, it has a amazing historic architecture. This hotel is by the train station which makes it convenient for some ,however if you are a tourist it is about 40min walk from most tourist spots. Also the train station brings in few undesirable trouble makers around the hotel .

Beautiful hotel with exceptional service from the concierge and the front desk. Very French looking rooms with comfortable beds and bedding. Lovely rain head(or use the standard head) shower with endless hot water. Very convenient location close to designer shops if that's your thing. Having an excellent concierge made planning where to eat and how to get around painless. Would definitely stay here again. Cons- the hotel room doors are loud when left to close on their own which was a bit annoying throughout the night while sleeping.

Excellent hotel in terms of location and service. We haven’t had to use taxi or tram for 3 days as all the sites have been walking distance. Room was a good size for 2 people clean with all the necessary amenities. If your coming for a short stay and don’t have much time then this is perfect option as you access all areas easily. Breakfast was also very good with lots of choice

The Hilton Paris opera location and the room facility is great, definitely 4-5 star. The decoration s are pretty elegant and definitely worthy of the Hilton brand. But the service is really poor. My boyfriend and I were supposed to check out of the hotel 8. sep 12pm. But the room service / house keeping staff has been knocking out door every half an hour from 8:30am to 11:00am. What’s worse, they BROKE IN the room several times as if this is their HOME. My boyfriend and I were still asleep first time they knocked and we both got extremely annoyed and helpless. While we understood that it is our problem that we were supposed to put “Do Not Disturb” on our door knob in the first place. This is the first time the house keeping staff started to try to break in before checking out of our room. The check in counter could have communicated with the housekeeping team to share the information on when the guests shall check out. What has made the trouble worse, is when we were giving feedback to the front desk, they said there was nothing they could do to help. It had made us even more disappointed. We were very traumatized by this experience and urged you to investigate this issue seriously.

Beautiful hotel. Very accommodating. Good location. Some minor issues with plugs in bathroom not working, but overall no problems. Of course, rooms were small and lobby bar expensive, but less expensive drinking options nearby.

Good hotel in the center of Paris. Located near the Opera and the shopping streets are easily reachable on foot. The rooms are quite small and the common areas should be renovated as well as the gym. Breakfast is average, I would have expected something more given the category. The staff is attentive and friendly.

I was there for a work event and it is a really nice hotel. The room was very clean and the room service was very kind and super fast. Breakfast was really good. The only issue was the air conditioning in the meeting rooms where we stayed. One had no air and the other one had too much

We enjoyed our stay here. The hotel staff were very kind and very helpful. Very close to train station but also close to major shopping areas. The rooms were comfortable. Only had food in room or bar. The bar is very ornate and beautiful. Id stay again because of staff and location.

Good hotel, Spectacular on the inside with a practically perfect location! walking distance away from the station, a TON of shopping options and dining options. This hotel offers great breakfast every morning with great timings. Unfortunately, when I stayed here, because of how extremely busy the hotel was (I heard “97% occupancy”), upgrade for Hilton Honors Gold/Diamond members was not possible. Understandable. All in all, I recommend the Hilton Paris Opera.

Very pretty hotel and a luxurious room. The staff was awesome. They let us drop bags off in the morning before check in. I had one small issue with the room and they set it straight immediately (it ended up being user error 🙄). One staff member brought me a coffee at breakfast since she noticed I wanted one but the machine was busy! We also got a late checkout which was very much needed. The metro is very conveniently close and easy. The immediate area is more shopping focused but very close to everything else. The executive lounge was closed but I don't expect anything with COVID.

This was an amazing hotel located in the Opera district. Close to shopping and within walking distance of everything. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was amazing (included as I am a diamond member). I stayed in room 375. Corner room with great views. The staff also went above and beyond helping me deal with the airlines that had lost my luggage. They also helped me figure out how to get the best taxi out front and even talked to the taxi driver for me when I asked for help. If I go back to Paris I will definitely be staying here again.

It is located in front of a large train station, so the transportation is very convenient. Even when I came back after watching the opera late at night. Good location. Comfortable room. Various breakfast. Convenient lounge visit. Especially, I was grateful that the kind doorman always welcomed me and mooved my bag. I hope to meet them again when I visit Paris again soon.

Very warm reception when I arrived yesterday morning to provide makeup services for a guest. I go to nice hotels for work often in Paris. This hotel definitely stands out as friendly with a beautiful interior and large well decorated rooms.

Wonderful hotel! Clean, comfy beds, a solid breakfast spread, relaxing Executive Lounge, and great service all around. The location is perfect and right near the train station for easy access. Shout out to concierge Raphael — thanks for all the help navigating Paris!

Probably the prettiest Hilton property I've ever stayed in. The location is great for getting around Paris. My only criticism is that the restaurant menu was not appetizing, at least from an American point of view. This hotel caters to many Americans, I think, so you would think they would try to make it appeal to them. One night I just wanted something chocolatey or a little ice cream, and the dessert menu didn't have either. The hotel breakfast buffet is really good, however! This has not been my experience at all Hilton hotels, but this one is worth it!

We stayed in executive suite. The lounge was good but closed access at 8pm. The breakfast was also good but coffee machine was not working and orange juice was watered down. Quality of food was good! Rooms are clean but we had a previous guests towel left hanging and a dirty pillow case left on the nightstand in our room when we arrived. The hotel is beautiful & charming but would need a hood carpet cleaning in the hallways and furniture steaming in the executive lounge. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Walking distance (30-45 mins) from every attraction.

The is very nice, the rooms are small but very clean. I really appreciated the wonderful welcoming in arriving and being at the front desk Yunuen meet and greet was so comforting after a long wait at the airport. The concierge was a great help in arranging our private transportation to and from our events. Plus they were able to get us into Eupicure! The 3-Michelin restaurant!! Thank you Raphael!!

We visited the grand salon, the cafe of the hotel. Spectacular, cozy atmosphere and not extordinary prices. Very pleasant staff. It is located close to the opera and many people dont know it. Highly recommended for a coffee after a busy day. The desserts are exquisite !

I had a lovely stay here. The gorgeous lobby bar, the extremely friendly and helpful staff and spacious room were great! The location is super and there's a taxi queue right out front when you need to grab a cab quickly. Perfect stay.

Great staff that went out of their way to make our stay great. The breakfasts were delicious. The number of jams was incredible. And if course crepes. You can't go to France and not enjoy fresh crepes for breakfast. They upgraded us as diamond members. Hotel was next to St Lazare train station. But I never heard any noise from it or the busy Paris street. Always a taxi available in from of the hotel. Highly recommend the hotel and would gladly choose it again!

Just avoid this Hotel from now. Unfortunately another example how inexperienced management can destroy a great property. Breakfast? There is no empty table as the staff isn’t cleaning up. Concierge? Don’t bother to call, no one will pick up the phone. As a Hilton member you will be crying after experiencing this property, one of the worst services ever. Executive lounge is just … no, don’t bother to go..

Housekeeping, front desk and concierge are very driven by making your stay wonderful! The bar men the first night were amazing then all of the sudden didn’t have my favorite tequila the next day and I had to pay 6 Euros more per glass. Not good.

The rooms were immaculate and spacious! My family and I had the greatest time, we felt comfortable and welcome at this hotel. Stephane was very kind and helpful! He ensured we got to all of our destinations timely and safely. Eternally grateful!

The location is good and the staff is really polite and kind. Apart from that I wouldn’t say it’s a 4 star hotel. They gave us a room with blocked toilets (they didn’t check it properly before letting customers going in) and then in the middle of the night when we asked to get it fixed they said the maintenance service is not available. I was expecting a maintenance service 24/24 in this type of hotel. They changed our room in the middle of the night for a smaller one (we were with a baby) and despite that they didn’t offer any compensation or commercial gesture. Honestly I wouldn’t go there anymore as the price is not representative of the service we get.

Location is very nice and near to public transport. Galleries in walking distance. Hotel building is a pearl but not all rooms are spacious as can be expected. Many restrictions due to Covid measures too, unfortunately.

  • 3/5 Marc G. 2 years ago on Google
Hilton Paris Opera staff is excellent during challenging Covid travel time. After check-in, our concierge Charlotte immediately took care of our TousAntiCovid application by taking our information. (We had not received any reply to our application on the official government website.) The next morning, we had our Health Passport QR code. Charlotte efficiently booked our Eiffel Tower tickets, private tour of the Louvre, confirmed our dinner reservations, and even checked with her boyfriend about where to find a Lionel Messi PSG soccer shirt. The hotel is historic. I would suggest a renovation to the reception area. And, I would strongly suggest complimentary room upgrades when there is low occupancy levels. The included Hilton Gold breakfast was excellent. Location next to Gare Lazare station and Metro is excellent. Nearby major department store shopping is excellent. I would like to see a freshening of the hotel when travel returns to normal.

Excellent service and very friendly, helpful staff! Everyone we spoke to (except housekeeping) spoke perfect English. Jr. King Suite was spacious and beautiful. Can’t beat the location with the RER and Metro just steps away.

Wonderful hotel, staff, and location. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Paris. Rooms were very clean and spacious. I would not recommend drinks in the bar, as they are quite expensive and there are plenty of places to drink in the area (although the bar is beautiful and the staff were great).

Friendly, professional, helpful staff. Nice, clean, safe stay at a hotel located in the heart of the Opera district. Close to the Metro, shopping and restaurants on the same block. Comfortable beds. Bathrooms with ample hot water, fluffy towels, nice toiletries.

The Hotel seemed to lack compassion, especially some of the male check in staff. We checked in and upon asking for an upgrade, as I am a Gold member, I was given the answer that they could not upgrade us to a suite and as we had already booked the highly expensive executive room, it cannot be upgraded further (nb the executive lounge was closed because of Covid, even though breakfast etc was open, just wondering what the executive room benefit brings). The hotel doesn’t have a ramp for disabled nor children’s pram. And even though the staff saw us struggling carrying our pram up the stairs there was often no help. The heights was that when we had checked out and were wanting to head to the train station, some of the taxis were not taking us, as we were four ppl (one was 6 months old). Upon asking the concierge desk to order us a bigger Taxi, we got the answer that they couldn’t order it, why don’t we try public transport! (As if the hotel conveniently forgot that Covid existed and that we were guests at a five star hotel, with two small children!). Overall I totally regretted that I booked this hotel, and also was a big disappointment from the Hilton Brand). I don’t think I would easily book another Hilton property if there is another choice ever again!

Location of this hotel is really good. You have plenty of options for choosing the way you would like to explore the city. By bus, train or bike. There are tons of restaurants nearby and you could choose between several traditional cousins. Lovely place.

nice old antique appearance concierge very helpful in booking my tours...Raphael was very nice and helpful however they do not make you feel welcomed or any special privileges as diamond member...not even mention of the executive lounge hours and my access was not even granted till i had to ask for it. the executive room looked v small and same as a normal room. overall quite disappointed.

The hotel is a beautiful old authentic Paris hotel. The location is good to almost everything you want to do. The only complaint is the hotel AC would not get below 78 degrees so it was hot. We were basically told that is considered acceptable so it was hot the entire stay.

Don't forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a stay. This web site will compare hundreds of booking websites and normally will have rates much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is one of the highest rated in the area. I've been coming here for years. If you decide to stay here you for sure won't regret it. We stayed here for a few nights. The rooms are small but clean. Staff was excellent, superb service. Everyone was polite and kind. Executive lounge had good food in the evenings. Our last night, they served beef and carrots, then came out with paella. Mint water- delicious

The building is beautiful inside and out. The bar/lounge is superb. The staff was friendly: bartenders made proper drinks and are very nice. Concierge made reservations for us and have good suggestions, Bellmen were engaged and helpful, breakfast servers were friendly and nice. The executive lounge was well stocked for breakfast and happy hour (5-7pm). The room was well decorated with a French ambience. Marble showers and bathroom floors. The location is amazing: you can take a train/metro from the station behind the hotel. You could spend a day shopping and eating in the neighborhood and still have more to do. Walking distance to many thing. Overall a wonderful hotel.

I rarely write a reviews. But I write this review because the high satisfaction from the quality service I found in Hilton Paris Opera. I have stayed 7 nights with this hotel, and I was happy with the professionalism of the employees here. They are always greeting and offering help and support. I have stayed in different 4 stars hotels around Europe, but I would say with confidence .. this hotel is outstanding in terms of quality of service and high standards. Best Regards

This hotel was beautiful, centrality located, staff is very nice and friendly, and the breakfast buffet is amazing! The only downfall is the rooms were very small, the bathrooms are beautiful with heather floors though. Considering we were out all day it didn’t matter.

Lovely lobby area. Room was comfortable and had a beautiful bathroom. Good breakfast buffet. Concierge was terrible. Asked for some help translating an email regarding a restaurant reservation. While he did translate it, he was very unhelpful in resolving the issue, with no offer to follow up. Also asked him to call a taxi the following morning for a 5:30am pickup. He didn’t do it and it was difficult hailing a cab that time of day. Not the warm and welcoming type!
