The
clinic
had
a
modern
and
clean
atmosphere,
but
the
receptionists
were
not
friendly
and
welcoming.
During
pre-surgery,
I
was
left
shivering
in
a
cold
room
and
was
very
distressed
by
the
sight
of
another
patient's
open
knee
through
the
doors.
The
nurses
were
nearby,
but
laughing
loudly
and
indifferent
to
my
discomfort.
Eventually,
they
came
over
to
me
and
inserted
a
long
needle
into
my
knee
and
also
a
catheter,
which
stressed
me
even
more.
Now
that
I
think
about
it,
they
should
have
talked
to
me
and
explained
what
they
were
going
to
do
with
a
minimum
of
empathy.
They
moved
me
to
the
operating
room
and
I
had
to
change
beds
to
proceed
with
the
epidural.
I
was
crying
in
panic,
still
they
simply
did
as
if
nothing
was
happening.
We
had
previously
agreed
that
I
would
be
given
medication
to
sleep.
I
kept
breathing,
trying
to
calm
down
and
waiting
to
fall
asleep,
but
instead
I
was
kept
awake
the
entire
time.
At
some
point
I
realized
the
anesthesia
was
wearing
off
as
I
began
to
feel
my
legs
and
regaining
movement.
Since
the
surgery
was
still
going
on,
I
tried
to
stay
still
as
long
as
I
could,
but
as
the
pain
increased,
I
started
complaining,
and
they
were
in
a
hurry.
The
stitches
could
have
been
done
better.
It
bothered
me
that
the
anesthesiologist
left
the
room
and
did
not
talk
to
me
during
the
surgery.
I
have
never
felt
so
unsafe
and
uncomfortable
during
a
medical
procedure.
Also,
I
am
outraged
that
they
did
not
videotape
the
surgery
as
other
people
have
reported.
Post-surgery:
the
food
was
good
and
plentiful
and
the
night
nurses
were
professional
and
attentive,
just
excellent.
However,
the
radiologist
apparently
forgot
to
come,
arriving
very
late
and
terrible
mood,
and
the
physical
therapist
spent
only
a
few
minutes
with
me.
I
left
the
clinic
with
an
upside-down
and
badly
put
knee
brace,
crutches
were
the
wrong
model
and
too
high
and
no
guidance
on
first
exercises
or
how
to
climb
stairs.
Unacceptable
to
have
to
resort
to
YouTube
after
surgery
in
such
premium
clinic.
Three
months
later,
it
is
impossible
to
forget
it.
Sleeping
has
since
become
torture
and
with
recurrent
nightmares
about
the
surgery.
Just
when
I
thought
it
could
not
get
any
worse,
I
now
feel
like
I
am
in
the
operating
room.
I
hear
the
sounds
and
feel
the
vibrations
of
the
drill.
It's
hard
to
understand
how
others
can
recover
so
easily
from
these
procedures.
The
pain
in
my
knee
and
the
side
of
my
leg
does
not
go
away
and
consumes
me.
I
can
not
sit
for
more
than
a
few
minutes
without
feeling
a
sharp
pain
in
the
side
of
my
leg.
I
am
beyond
sick
of
the
painkillers.
It
pains
me
to
say
this,
but
I
am
very
disappointed
in
the
doctors
for
being
so
dismissive
and
ignoring
my
cries
for
help,
especially
considering
how
much
trust
I
placed
in
them
and
the
immense
financial
effort
I
am
still
incurring.
I
continue
disturbed
because
of
this
experience
and
alone
in
the
recovery.
Despite
my
bad
experience,
I
understand
that
it
could
have
been
worse
elsewhere.
I
am
sure
the
doctors
are
great
professionals
and
did
their
best
even
though
they
did
not
meet
my
needs.
Despite
the
mentioned
inconveniences,
I
am
very
grateful
to
the
doctors
for
their
efforts
and
recommend
the
clinic
and
staff.
Good
luck!
