What a great introduction to Paris. Milan, our guide was fantastic. And his driver was always on time at each stop. Milan is so knowledgeable and makes the tour so personable. I cannot recommend With Live From Paris enough! My husband and I were in France celebrating our anniversary. We met Milan in Rouen for a private tour of the city and the Joan of Arc landmarks. It was the best tour we had while in France! Milan was so friendly, so knowledgeable and the day flew by. He took us to sites all over the city, meticulously explaining the significance of every single aspect of what we saw, from the history, cultural significance, and relating it to current life. He went at our pace, we were able to ask questions about anything, and he graciously answered. He took us to the most amazing pastry shop for an afternoon snack as well, and it was delicious and had great character. We were with him all day and the time went by too quickly. When I have friends traveling to Paris or surrounding areas, I won’t recommend anyone else! Don’t miss out, absolute perfection!

This was the best Christmas light/night tour we have been on. Milan Melet was an excellent host and tour guide. The tour was part walking, Metro train and taxi. We saw many fabulous light displays, Christmas markets and of course the main attractions in Paris including the Eiffel Tower and Arc De Triomphe at night. The lights on the Champs Elysees avenue were beautiful. Milan allowed us plenty of time to take pictures and was extremely patient. He was very knowledgeable providing interesting facts about the places we visited. And as a side note, he provided a tour in 2022 for the Travel Host (Donna Farizan) of the NBC Today Show which can be seen on YouTube (NBC Donna Farizan Paris). Great fun! Milan/host was welcoming, informative, and a very good Petanque teacher because I almost beat him. (Not really :) Highly recommend - it’s a super cool thing to do in an extraordinarily beautiful park. Milan also provides interesting history of the area.

We had scheduled a day tour trip from Paris to Rouen, unfortunately due to the strikes in Paris, the train system was affected and had to improvise a day tour in Paris. Even though things didn't go as we originally had planned them, we had an amazing day in Paris. We told Milan to come up with ideas of what we could do that day, that we wanted to do things people usually didn't get to do or see, and he sure delivered what we asked for! We started the day at the Château de Vincennes, then he brought us to a square where for a short period of time people in Paris where decapitated in masses and moved to common fosses. After that he took us to what I would say is one of the most peaceful places in the whole Paris area, a small church, Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Paix, which are the grounds for a small cemetery for the hundreds of souls who were decapitated just around the corner from there, and later on, the family members of those people. But one of the most important people that had a huge influence for the United States of America, General LaFayette, was also laid to rest in this beautiful place. We walked around the peaceful grounds, got to see the gardens, learned the history of this very special place, and saw the inside of this beautiful church that is being renovated. You can't ask for anything more private and special than this! After that we went to the Cimetière du Pere-Lachaise, where we admired the grandness and artsy of this very intriguing place. So, if you are looking for a company that would take care of you having an unforgettable visit to Paris, don't look any further! Thank you Milan for such an amazing time!!

We had the absolute best time with Milan. Whenever we travel we prefer to do smaller tours with a local guide because it feels so much more authentic. It was our first full day in Paris, not only were we jet lagged but we managed to get ourselves completely lost and arrived late. Milan was kind enough to wait for us to meet him. When we arrived he spent time asking us questions and telling us a little bit about himself and the tour, which really helped us to not feel rushed (despite accidentally being late). The market itself was a blast, it felt like we were visiting with a friend while we walked through sampling fruits and cheese along the way. Then to our surprise he took us to some secret spots while giving a small history lesson. The beauty of the secret locations cannot be described in a just a few words. The day was truly a great start to our trip. We’re here for a week but if we only had one day or so this is 100% would be the way I spent the day. Thanks Milan!

Milan provided us a wonderful full day in Paris. We learned more on our tour with him then we could have discovered by ourselves in a week in Paris. He shared so many sites, and added his personal insight. It was a great day one experience because he also showed us how to navigate Paris, the transit system so that we’re equipped for the rest of our trip. I have been to Paris several times before and visited all the usual attractions. In preparing for this visit, I realised I had never really spoken to a local about what it is like to live there. My time with Milan was just like meeting up with an old friend. The Christmas tour in itself was fabulous in the places we visited, but it was talking to Milan about Christmas traditions and day to day life in Paris, and special places to see, that really made my time in Paris the best experience to date.

Milan is everything you could hope for in a guide; knowledgable, yes (incredibly knowledgable), but he was like meeting up with your old pal for a lovely day of walking and catching up. We felt like we had been friends with him for forever. He took such great care of us, from teaching us the metro system (that was a complete game changer for our trip) to bringing French history to life. History can be hard to follow, but Milan did such a fantastic job at painting the picture we needed to give us a great understanding. As we chatted, he knew immediately how he needed to tailor the day for us and he completely knocked it out of the park. We really enjoyed our day with him and hope we're able to go back soon and see him again! If you are questioning whether to book with him or not, stop questioning and just book it. Milan is the best tour guide we’ve ever had! His French Revolution and US Independence in Paris tour was informative, entertaining, and we had a blast learning all about the history of Paris and the French Revolution. Milan started the tour by taking us to a historic neighborhood where we were able to walk around, take in the beautiful sites and history, and learn about the beginnings of Paris. The highlight of the tour was the private estate and cemetery! The grounds were truly gorgeous, with chickens and parrots roaming free, and a small church that was jaw-dropping when you walked in. The fact that it was private made the tour even more intimate because we could enjoy the beauty all to ourselves! The cemetery itself was so impactful, just seeing how many influential people were buried there, we really felt we were seeing the history of Paris in its purest form. And at the end of the tour, Milan even let us have some fresh vegetables from his personal garden, and they were wonderful! Milan is an expert in French history and answered any questions we had! So, if you're looking for a great day of walking around Paris, being in beautiful neighborhoods, and learning about the french revolution and the relations between France and America, then this is the tour for you! He truly made our Paris trip unforgettable and there is no one who knows the city better than Milan. We'd love to book another tour with him whenever we come back!

We had very few days in Paris and Milan was able to organize a full day of touring Paris to help us see the highlights in such a short time. My son and I had a wonderful day all thanks to Milan. Highlight of my December trip to Paris was a private tour with Milan, the best guide you could ever get! He has such a knowledge of, and passion for history, that he made so many sites come alive. Having already been to Paris and toured before, I was looking for a different experience while traveling with a first timer. Milan made my dream of seeing Paris come true! I have always wanted to go, but it just seemed like each time I found myself in Europe it didn't work out. Thus, this past September a friend and I were staying in a condo in Mougins, France and decided we were going to do it. We booked a round trip flight from Nice to Paris for one day. Milan was professional and an excellent tour guide! He was extremely pleasant, informative, funny, had a wonderful personality and it was a great company. Together with him we made our way from the historical Latin Quarter towards the quaint Montmartre neighborhood and Sacré Coeur Basilica. Stopped by places such as Jardin du Luxembourg, Canal St. Martin and Sorbonne University which I used to believe that it was in a different city. During this all day tour, I was immersed in the atmosphere of real Parisian life, really! This experience I never had before. I was amazed by the beautiful passages, amazing art galleries, petite boutiques and much more. It was a great way to take in both the Parisian glamour and urban vibes of the city. Along the route, we also were visiting the best bakery in town near Canal St. Martin and enjoyed a cup of coffee at the café at Seine river. I would like to reiterate that Milan was an excellent guide. He made my last day in Paris extremely enjoyable and I left feeling that I had made a new friend in Paris. Many many thanks for such a wonderful trip that has left me with amazing memories!

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Paris with Milan. We were traveling with our two granddaughters, ages 18 and 19. He provided interesting and helpful information all throughout the tour while focusing on specific areas of interest to all of us. Milan had the timing of transfer pick-up locations seamlessly integrated with the driver so, as we completed the exploration of one area on foot, we would exit and quickly meet the driver and be taken to our next point of interest. The entire day was designed around our preferences and needs (since one of us had some mobility problems). We would not hesitate to recommend Milan as a guide for a special day...or two...in Paris.
