Starting from the booking process, the platform is very user friendly. Once we arrived, our table was ready and we got the menu and water. The staff was super friendly and had knowledge of all the courses and wines. The service was great, we didn’t wait too long. The best part, the food: AMAZING. It was a special occasion for us and this menu will definitely be one for the memories. Kudos to the chef and team!

Loved the food and service at Eels. Everything was explained when being served, and while I didn't have wine, I overheard the waitress explaining the pairings at a neighbouring table very well. Beautifully presented dishes, had the tasting menu over a span of 2 hours, service felt well paced (having seen comments about it being too fast), but as a solo traveller especially its nice to not have long awkward pauses between. Open kitchen and could see that the atmosphere in the kitchen was calm and friendly.

Small restaurant which has great service and good food. Recommend the tasting menu with paired wines. Reservation recommended.

Great place with superb balance of ingredients in all the plates. We started with smoked eel and had lamb or porchetta as main dish. Fast and friendly service. Wines are good, especially the advice around it was professional. Take a detour to eat here!

Extraordinary place. Amazing cuisine, great creativity and very good value for price. Good wine selection as well. Open kitchen which brings a special atmosphere. The staff is very welcoming while knowing how to stay quiet and reserved, which is very enjoyable.

Extraordinary menu, delicious and well presented. We tried the anguille fumée (sublime), the truite (fresh and tasty) as entree and porchetta and agneau as main course. desserts also very enjoyable. Interesting wine list with a lot of French and international selections. While I can only celebrate the incredible cuisine of this restaurant, I think the environment is not at the same level. Very basic table setting and too much chaos. Staff very friendly and always available to give explanations in French or English. No Amex.

Returning to Eels in Paris 10 for the second time after three years, I’m once again utterly captivated. If I could rate it six stars, I would without hesitation. The chef is a true embodiment of contemporary culinary art. Each dish is a delightful surprise, a testament to the chef’s serious commitment to his craft without ever losing a sense of playfulness. The passion for flavors and a genuine love for customer satisfaction are palpable in every bite. Each creation stirs emotions, and the service is simply impeccable. A must-visit for anyone seeking an extraordinary dining experience.

Definitely coming back! Lovely food and vibe. Liked the interior design and the team had a good energy. The only point would be the table we had which was next to the ( Bar/Kitchen ) so it feels like you are in the way and workers passing to serve the food.

Everything from start to finish was truly magnificent at Eels. The welcoming wait staff without being overbearing. The food was visually appealing and the taste equally matched the visuals - the flavors and texture were absolutely the best duet. Of course for a 5 course tasting also great value for the money but the positive review is not because of that. The restaurant truly is a standout! Upgrade to the Guinea fowl if you like poultry - done two ways it is really a dish that speaks to the height of perfection.

Highly recommended ! What a gem for culinary experience! Kudos to the EELS team at kitchen & service. Creative in combining fresh produce & exotic ingredients for delicious menu, insta-worthy plating and good service (friendly, good explanation for every course, English speaking👍). MUST TRY the smoked eels starter! Visited 2x in this trip & will be back😁

10 out of 10!!! Absolute perfection from their chefs creativities to their services to their inviting ambience.😍 Deliciousness overload with flawless dining experience. I’d like to share my gratitude to one of my favorite restaurants in Paris, Le Riff team to recommend this wonderful gem for the beautiful experience I just had! Big thank you to Restaurant Eels and the whole team for being so amazing, I can’t wait to see you very soon ♥️

Got a last minute reservation, the staff was very friendly and accommodated us. The food was quite creative, layered, delicious, fresh, and generously portioned for the price! We got the set menu with 2 appetizers, 2 mains, and 1 dessert. The two appetizers were seafood: eel and then squid, and the mains were a seared fish and duck breast (my favorite dish of the night). I really enjoyed it, and I have to give 5 stars even just for the service. The most polite, prompt service I’ve experienced in my past month and a half in France. Totally recommended!

Excellent meal with attentive service. The staff knows the food they serve and our waiter even correctly guessed our dessert selection based on what was ordered as first and second courses. The only thing that would make this experience even better is it the restaurant were overlooking the Seine. Otherwise it was fabulous.

Very modern with a great and simple menu. We didn’t go for tasting menu as wasn’t very hungry. Had the roast duck for two it was very well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Although the duck wing was slightly difficult to navigate without using hand. Perhaps it should be cut into smaller pieces but we didn’t mind. Wine paring was excellent as well. There aren’t many seating so it’s best to book in advance or show up early. Staffs are really friendly and caring. Can’t wait to go back next season to try more dishes from them. Oh and the pistachio cake is AMAZING!! Such a great blend of flavours with kiwi and apple and mint. It’s very aesthetically beautiful and taste just like spring too.

Fantastic meal with thoughtful wine pairings. The waitstaff, sommelier, and host were all very pleasant. I would recommend this experience to anyone. The tasting menu was a meal with no decisions to be made, the chef selects and curates the meal while the sommelier pairs some of the better wines we experienced on our trip. Would give more than 5 stars if I could. Thank you for the memories.

I loved this restaurant. I made a reservation and choose the dinner menu with wine pairing. The waiters were all very friendly and nice (and spoke English perfectly). The food itself was amazing, some flavors I had never tasted and everything was perfectly cooked. The wines were interesting and complemented the dishes (especially the dessert). I will definitely recommend this place and hopefully return. The place is small and the tables are very close together (but I noticed this is very common in Paris), however this is the only small but I can find.

This was my first meal in Paris arriving from Copenhagen, where I’d just dined at all the famous fancy ones you’re thinking of, so I wasn’t expecting be blown away by Eels (which I chose due to being close to my hotel). Except I was wrong, Eels was pretty incredible. I had the tasting menu with beverages pairing. Their signature eels entrée is great, as were most other entrées, and the white chocolate dessert was AMAZING. Main dishes (pork belly, and fish) were more average but still great. Props to the sommelier who explained each wine for waaaay longer than any 3* Michelin place I’ve ever been to and actually explained the reasoning for pairings (wines/cider were pretty damn tasty too). Service was possibly the nicest I’ve ever had in an European capital. All in great, especially for the price (though they did charge for the water), EUR140 all in.

Service was eager to welcome and assist as it was our first time. My partner and I shared 2 starters and 2 mains and some drinks. I was not used to citrus being used with pith in the dishes (octopus and monkfish) as it made it a little too bitter for my taste but my partner said it was tolerable for him. Overall the dishes were delightful though. Recommend to eat the eel starter without dissecting each “piece” as the flavours and textures work so well together

Best meal my husband and I have ever had. We did the tasting menu which was an incredibly great value for what you get. I found this surprising since I found this restaurant on the Michelin guide app. Service was incredible too

Incredible experience from start to finish! Both appetizers (leeks and rabbit ravioli) and entrees (trout and duck) were excellent. Such creativity and beautiful presentation. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

We did the tasting menu and loved every course, especially the salmon (maybe the best salmon dish of our lives??). Both of our servers were very friendly and accommodating. Would happily eat here again when we return to Paris!

We were here for lunch. We took 3 starters (smoked eel was amazing, the marinated trout was fresh and delicious and the white aspargus was great) and one main dish, (the catch of the day), the matcha cream desert with strawberries was fresh and easy. Amazing service, professional and friendly, we enjoyed it so much and highly recommend it

Hi we absolutely loved the food, our server was perfection! Ty so much for catering to our large party. You literally made our wedding reception dinner a 10 out of a 10.

Not often you find a French restaurant that stars the Eel. And I must say I was not disappointed. The smoked eel is a must to begin your meal… not only it looked pretty on the plate but the eel was cooked the way I like it, flakey, buttery and soft with the most delicious roasted butter sauce. Another star is the Black Angus beef, that was first confit to seal in the tenderness & juice then grilled for a charred crust - simply delicious. Also thoroughly enjoyed the dessert. Overall, a great place to dine if you value modern cooking techniques combined with the French flair. Food : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ambiance : ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Value for money : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This restaurant is a bit expensive, but worth every penny! Flavors i have never tried before, plates as amazing as a painting! They took us on a flavor trip, and it was amazing.

Absolutely outstanding! This chef is going places! Every dish in the tasting menu was mouthwateringly delicious. The portions were generous. The staff was lovely. We can't wait to go back on our next trip to Paris.

Great restaurant in Paris. Attentive and kind service. Very original, high quality dishes. Starter with eel(what's in the name)and main with quail. Excellent wine pairing. Interior is a bit basic, but I would definitely comeback.

I did the tasting menu with the wine pairing. It was immensely enjoyable with four out of five dished being spectacular. I thought the wine pairing was a bit expensive for what was offered, especially because two out of five were not wine. The bread also tasted a bit old. Despite this, the atmosphere and porchetta more than made up for this.

A thoroughly lovely meal. Each course was charming and creative; the cod and the crunchy dessert were especially memorable. It's as if each plate is a symphony, blending layers upon layers of different flavors into harmony. Merci!

Nice food and service, will remove one star because the wines pairing was off: half of what was served didn't match the food, they tried to do an original pairing but failed.

Food The food was very nice. Each dish has a nice combination of balanced flavours and textures to excite the pallet. The eel appetiser was luscious, creamy and smokey. Main of pork cheeks was so tender that the knife wasn’t needed to cut through it. Finally really loved the matcha panna cotta with the bitterness of the matcha on top. Service The service was exceptional. The wait staff was very friendly and even had time for a quick chat asking me where I was from. Price Definitely great value at lunch time. Three courses for 29€. Ambience Nice, modern and minimally decorated restaurant.

This made it to the list of my favorite restaurants in Paris the moment I had my first bite. Beautifully prepared and executed, each dish was created using classic ingredients but in a refreshing and creative way. The braised lamb came wrapped in a layer of cabbage cooked in a vinegar based sauce with chargrilled slices of lemon and a harissa dressing followed by the lightly grilled scallops with a very generous serving of black truffle from Perigord which was optional both were delicious. The dessert was a cream tart with a crunch chocolate and pastry base using layers of bananas. Service was incredible, warm and welcoming. Knowledgeable sommelier and servers were helpful all around.

Eels gave me the best moment of my life. Delicious food, great wine could exist because there was a great sommelier and staff. Their explanation was so kind and detailed. If I come to Paris next time, I will definitely come back! Oh, and coffee was the best coffee in France 😂 Merci de m'avoir fait vivre une expérience merveilleuse!
