I wish I could give it minus 100 score. This is the most redicluous hotel I have been too, rude reception, they don't clean the room for days no matter how many times you ask for. I feel every time I go to front desk for help they just laugh at me and purposely don't listen to me. I feel helpless here, frustrated, so frustrated that I cried. The door keys never open. Also it's in a noisy location can never sleep. General areas in this hotel is very dirty and disgusting. Save yourself and your family and your money and stay away from this hotel. I rather stay at train station but not here. Stay away from this hotel

Very good location, staff let's say good (had a weird interaction with one of the employees from the concierge desk related to the check in - it was around 5PM and she said that the room is not ready. Anyways we go outside for a quick coffee. Also, the taxi for the airport fee is not 35 euro what the staff told me is 40. Not a fortune, but bare in mind that.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!!! Not safe at all! I fell victim to theft, with my valuable jewelry mysteriously disappearing from my room. What compounded my frustration was the apparent lack of accountability demonstrated by both the housekeeping team and the hotel management. Despite bringing this distressing matter to their attention, I found their response inadequate, as they failed to take any meaningful action or assume responsibility. Ensuring the safety and security of guests should be an absolute priority for any reputable hotel. Sadly, my experience suggests otherwise. I even had to resort to filing a police report, and it appears that incidents of this nature are unfortunately not uncommon at this particular establishment. Stay away from this hotel!!

There are a lot of things that I can say about this hotel but nothing good. First of all, when I booked the hotel room with breakfast I realized it might not be suitable for me due to my diet restrictions. I called the hotel immediately and they told me if I wanted to cancel my breakfast I could do it on the arrival day. Unfortunately, when we arrived I found out that I couldn't cancel my breakfast so I had no money and no breakfast. Secondly, I can understand that the hotel is taking fees in case the guests cancel the reservation. But I can't understand why I have to pay the full amount and then wait for a refund. When I asked about it and the receptionist told me it takes up to 7 days to refund the money, depending on the bank. It's been nearly two weeks and I still haven't got my money back. I'm glad that I paid just for one room... Lastly, the staff wasn't very pleasant and the room wasn't very clean either. A lot of dust all around the lamps, tv and desks which doesn't help my allergy and the lift doesn't work properly. The only good thing I can tell is the big bath in the bathroom. Overall I do not recommend staying in the hotel.

I recently stayed at this hotel that was conveniently located near the central area. Rooms are spacious and quite nice (except few rooms which were too small and narrow space to access the kitchen). From the service point of view, I would say they need to improve. If the hotel management addresses the service-related issues, it could significantly improve the overall guest experience and earn a higher rating.

This was our second visit to this hotel. The location is great, the staff is kind, the breakfast was amazingly good. The hotel itself is nice, and some of the rooms has good view. BUT the cleaning is poor. On the cutlery there were leftover food, on the floor was dust. No tragedy. The annoying thing was that there was a little closed room in our apartment from which constant noise was coming out (sounded like industrial ventilators), we could sleep only with earplugs. This room was 160. I have to return back to the breakfast, because I have to tell that there was a wide variety of continental breakfast dishes, a lot of fruits, cereals, yoghurt, coffee, tea, freshly pressed orange juice, salmon, etc.

I am a solo business traveller and stayed for 5 nights. I was quite appalled to see the state of the room. Room 609. There was a layer of dust everywhere, stained shower glass, tap, questionable overall stickiness in the bathroom, and mould and fungus growing in areas in the bathroom (asthmatic persons beware). The windows were massively stained with handprints and smudges. The cleaner had opened the window once and it couldn't be closed for 2 nights until the technician came to fix it. I am 4 months pregnant and caught a cold because of the draft that came into the room. When I asked them if I could change room, they said they were fully booked, which I can understand, but beyond that, did not offer any compensation for the troubles I had to go through (besides an apology). I complained about the cleanliness, but there was no change in the coming days. I would say the service at the front desk leaves much to be desired. Apathetic and confused, for the most parts. They not only forgot my room number when I asked them to fix the window, but they even forgot to put in the whole request for it to be fixed. They are generally not even that nice, considering they are supposedly act as the "face" of the hotel. Upsides: Location. The gym. And the breakfast layout is adequate. Otherwise, from here forth, I will be openly and actively recommending all my colleagues and future visitors to stay away from this hotel. Neither will it benefit your health nor your wallet.

I checked in with my family and i will say in one line, Worst check in into a hotel of my life. Room was very bad with a bed in the corner, TV in other corner, Center heating was not working, staff is very rude and Internet is the worst. I will give 0 out of ten. Look like this is a store room and they just put a bed with some essential.i was not able to matched a single picture of my room with thier website. Please please do not book this hotel. Worst hotel of my life

I've had issues with items left in the rooms here and never found. Just this morning I left all of my charging cords in my room, and I called the hotel as soon as I could to inquire about them. Even with a detailed description of where my charging port was plugged into, nobody could find my property. It's a huge hassle to replace items and travelers who must go between hotel locations should really be aware. Nothing seems to be safe if you accidentally leave it in the room. This is not the first time this has happened, either. Really disappointed in the hotel response.

The room service is indeed the worst room service I saw in the whole world!! Worst place really for a long stay. Maybe a good place for a very short stay ( 1 to 3 nights). More than 3 nights you will feel you are in the military, so you'll clean your room for yourself, if not you will find yourself living in a trash really cause no one wants to help even when you ask for it!!

The WestCord Hotel (that's the current name) is really cool. The rooms are quite big and comfortable. They also have their own spa and gym section. The service staff is very kind and helpful. Location just right in the centre, next to the bus stop (which takes you to the airport roughly 20 ish minutes ride). The only inconvenience is, if you are staying on the 4th floor (lichtplain), you have to walk a bit to get to the room. They are still making some improvements, so I'm giving 5* anyways. The breakfast is generous, really worth to pay extra €.. there's even Cava (Spanish sparkling wine) included! Also at the restaurant/bar I had the pleasure to enjoy their simple but tasty and fresh local cuisine 👌 I would definitely recommend this place if you need a decent stay in the city of Eindhoven.

Charming hotel plenty of arts everywhere and with a great diversity of rooms decorations. The bar is a great option to finish the day with a good cocktail. Located just near by the main shopping area and train station from Eindhoven.

I can‘t share the recently bad given reviews. Our stay was excellent. The hotel is located great. The staff was always friendly. They upgraded our room. The breakfast was tasty. The gym did what it needed to do. All in all we will come again. Thank you.

In the centre of the city, close to all shops and restaurants, the former Philips lightbulb test tower transformed into a great hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfy.

The room looked completely different from the photos on booking. The way to the room is a complete labyrinth with not enough sings. It actually took us 7 min from our room till we were at the reception. There was a very annoying noise in the room, it felt like we were on the plane. The floor was dirty as well as the shower. The drain was not working, all the water was on the floor. Hair dryer was not working too. The smell of the towels and bed sheets was disgusting. One towel was torn. The view was at the the backyard where was a trash recycling facility. Definitely not worth of 145€

Lovely rooms but please don't stay here between April and October as there is no air conditioning. Here on a mildly warm evening in June and the room is stifling, too hot to sit in nevermind sleep. Nothing staff can do other than offer a fan and apologies. Actually now downgrading this to one star as it's so hot its ridiculous, it's way too hot to sleep so therefore this is no longer any use as a hotel

I am staying in this hotel from last 15 days. housekeeping service is not good. Not cleaning rooms properly. Also Reception staff is not active. Not worth as per Price of Hotel room. Also Hotel Wifi strength is not good. It's quiet irritated that we need to tell every 2 days to hotel reception to clean dustbin bag.

A bit of strange hotel in my opinion, industrial and has art but also a little bit stark. It's down to taste, but I like carpet. Great location and it has history with Philips organisation.

Super comfortable bed with huge, soft, down pillows. The rooms were at the back of the hotel so I had to walk through a maze but overall it was a very pleasant stay.

Not one for leaving bad reviews but.... Requested twin room and paid extra only to given a double. Meaning my friend had to sleep on the settee. Bar closes early. Signage needs improved, wellness centre can be difficult to find and even harder to get back. On attempting to locate wellness centre I actually got locked in a room nearby and had to wait for a member of the public to assist. Pass did not work on any of the doors in this room. Location is good, nearby PSV Stadion, Town centre and the train/bus station. Having stayed in Eindhoven several times, this was the worst yet.

I tried to stay at this hotel. It looked like reasonable price in eindhoven which I've never been to and was intrigued. It looked nice from the exterior and not so bad from the inside in the lobby area and I was looking forward to my stay. However on my way to my room u take a small elevator up to the 3rd floor. And then the problem begins. The hallways are poorly lit, feel dirty, and musty and not at all like a hotel. Then you have to navigate through a ridiculous maze to find the second elevator to take. arriving at this second elevator after a ton of walking you have to navigate through these narrow poorly lit, poorly ventilated corridors. Seems like almost a maze. Then you take the elevator u to next floors. I gave up after trying 3 times to find/get in my room because the hallway and corridors and feel of the place was so unpleasant and unsanitary feeling that I wanted to try a more professional hotel. If this is what NL hotels are like though it is not good. If I would have gotten room I would have been able to rate 1 star but due to fact I didn't it gets two.

Worst maintained hotel I ever stayed at. Including 3rd world countries. Old and broken equipment, burned light bulbs, ceiling pieces falling, exposed cement, rust and spider webs everywhere. The poor housekeeping workers have to wash their used sponges and rags in the same washing machines the guests use. No wonder they do such a terrible job cleaning the rooms and corridors. The amount of dust inside the rooms can cause an asthma attack to a healthy person. Wifi works only if you stand under the router that is outside the room. The "gym" is a 3*3 room that can be used by maximum two people. The parking is frequently full on weekends so guests arriving at late hours on Friday/Saturday, must pay for parking elsewhere. Guests that stay in Lichtorren will need to walk long distance inside the hotel and use 3 different elevators to reach the car that is parked in the hotels parking. Which also requires a parking ticked payed and received at the hotel front desk. Front desk: Smiles and promises all requests regarding housekeeping will be resolved. Nothing happens. The only perk is a small kitchen in the long-stay rooms. These rooms are located in a different building though.

My husband booked a room with a jacuzzi by selecting the special offer including a bottle of champagne and roses (2 nights). It was our second stay in this hotel. The room is really nice and moderately clean (it could be better). As we don't drink alcohol my husband asked at the time of booking to have a bottle without - the staff kindly replied that there would be no worries about that. However, when we arrived we were given a bottle containing alcohol and had to ask twice at reception to get a bottle without it. We still appreciate the gesture of having a bottle without alcohol but it is really not convenient to go downstairs twice to get it. The SPA area is very nice and clean - however it is a pity that it is nudist (swimming costumes are not allowed). The gym is small and more suitable for upper body training or cardio - but not suitable for lower body training. The location of the hotel is really good and you can easily visit everything on foot from there. Then regarding breakfast: the staff are very welcoming and friendly - however some dishes are not restocked enough (e.g. eggs) - there is no hot chocolate for non-coffee drinkers - I feel that the bread is not always fresh and is reheated. This hotel is for me the best choice for a trip to this city. However being used to higher standards (e.g. Arab countries) there are many things this hotel can improve on. These are all small details that have a certain weight in the end, especially considering the high price of the room.

I have reported that tv in my room doesn't work. Within 4 days nobody has checked. You need to keep reminding them. Also with iron etc. Breakfast is good.

Stay and location is good. Breakfast is also nice. But the room service is worst for long stay rooms. I tried calling and connecting to the reception but no one responded properly. And said room cleaning already happened whereas no one had come to room for cleaning. I tried to tell at the reception but they continued repeating the same thing.

My review is about a long stay in the hotel. The hotel has nine floors but the elevator did not work most of the time. I read people said that the cleaning is inconsistent I beg to differ since No housekeeping service exists. Once I called reception to ask for new towels and toilet paper, they gave me the address of Jumbo supermarket. Since my stay there was about a month, I have tried to talk to a manager, nobody cared to call me back or answer my email. In my experience, if you plan to stay long in Eindhoven a decent Airbnb is much better since you have access to a vacuum cleaner, dishwasher and washing. Also wireless did not work properly. One positive thing is that if you stay on the higher floor it is a good workout since you have to climb the stairs.

This is an old Philips building that has been renovated as a hotel. You can see Philips artwork in all rooms and common areas. The hotel is sort of a maze especially when connecting between the 2 wings. My room was in the main wing with an in-room Jacuzzi. The gym & spa are located in the other wing and I had to take 2 elevators to get there. The gym is extremely small with 1 treadmill and a few weights. The spa is equipped with a steam, sauna and massage rooms. The bar & restaurant in the lobby is quite good. Tried them for dinner on a couple of days. Service is always great. The rooms are spacious and offers a nice view of the little town of Eindhoven. The hotel is walking distance from the Eindhoven train station. Taxis can be ordered from the hotel reception since Uber was not very reliable. We stated here during Glow 2019 and the reception staff were helpful with maps & umbrellas. Overall a good stay and looking forward to visiting again.

I believe this is a former Philips factory (isnt so much of Eindhoven!) and the Philips theme is present throughout. Friendly staff, nice modern rooms retaining features from the buildings former life. There is a small but nice gym and a spa which is always welcome when travelling! Room was very clean, but my coffee machine was bust! apart from that (which happens) I enjoyed my stay.

I'm not sure I've ever been more disappointed by a hotel. The public areas are filthy. The lifts look like they haven't been cleaned in years. There was a thick layer of dust across my room. The cleaner told me 'the hotel is falling apart' which pretty much sums it up. The staff don't seem to have a clue, we booked a 'queen room' and got a single bed which was only corrected after a shouting match. Breakfast is a joke - apparently served until 10am but when I arrived at 945am I was told I had five minutes to eat and had to (again) have a shouting match to get an egg cooked while the staff helped themselves to the leftovers from the buffet. I'm not sure I've ever seen that before. A sinking ship. Eindhoven has some wonderful places to stay but this is not one of them. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else.

What a nice hotel. It was a ballroom of hotel room with a style designed bathroom rarely seen yet. View to the Phillips Stadion and we couldn’t be closer in the city. A nice spa place we relaxed in the sauna. Sparkling wine at the breakfast buffet was my personal cherry on the cake.

Pros: good location, big rooms, kitchenette. Cons: Room was dirty, no cleaning supplies in kitchenette but also not cleaned by housekeeping, housekeeping had to be requested several times until they cleaned once in a 4 day stay, small gym that overlooks an alley way where people walking past can watch you, shower has no door and water goes all over bathroom.

Good: location Bad: experience is really a disaster, the parking especially frustrating, you need tickets or intercom to get you in and out but a lot of time either one is workable. Construction next door which is ok, but the sounds just pass through to my room like we are in the same space, and starting 6am in the morning. So you pay for the location because the rest would be terrible.

I stayed in this hotel in Jan 2023 on 2nd floor. The windows are not sound proof whoever talks on ground floor outside hotel can be easily heard and it disturbs. The room had very low lighting . The AC of room could not be adjusted and the room always remained chilled with - 3 deg weather already outside.

A very decent hotel located near the Central. The hotel room we checked in was ok only one thing is not so nice is that the room designs is quite old but for me the most important is that the room is really spacious plus the bath tub so i give it a 4☆ i also like the Bar love to sit & drinks in there.

The hotel is in a renovated building and has a nice external appearance, but service is subpar and they are clearly cutting costs. When we arrived, the elevator was broken. We asked for help taking our 6 bags up the stairs, and we were told we'd have to do it on our own. The rooms have no thermostat and were kept very cold - about 62 F. We asked for the temperature to be increased; we were offered additional blankets instead. The bathroom has no amenities, just a combined body wash/shampoo container. Breakfast was lackluster and there were gnats and bugs present, even though it was indoors. The location is nice, but that's about it.

Stayed in the lichttoren section, large rooms with the bath in a separate section from the toilet. Unfortunately toilet facility does not have any hand washing soap so you have to cross into the room and then to the bath section before washing your hands after using the toilet facility. Not ideal. Otherwise great location.

Excellent services. Rooms are very comfortable and the architecture of the hotel is something else, using traditional city buildings. Very helpful staff!

Arguably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in the Netherlands. Logistically if you arrive from the parking lot, you will need to get into 3 different elevators to get to your room. My twin bed was in fact two single beds put together. The staff are rude. For instance, when you ask them for 1 beer, they will make you wait 15 minutes while they complete a very laborious order. When you ask them to give you a ticket that takes them 10 seconds to produce, they will proceed to check a group of people in the hotel. When you try to enter the parking lot, they may or may not open the door until you leave your car in front of the gate and you physically go to the reception.

My opinion about this hotel is a tragedy . Antiallergic room without air-conditioning, we got electric heaters from the service when asked. It was cold ! everything you can see in the pictures is how dirty there is on the walls and mold in the shower. the jacuzzi works very loud! mattress yuck! I am allergic and I do not recommend this hotel to you. it was supposed to be my dream vacation and the view was terrible JUMBO and POLICE STAND

Pros: -Location -Facilities Cons: -Customer service -Communication -Room Amazing location, facilities for spa and personal care. Miscommunication on booking of the parking, literally had to pay €4+€17 while I could already be informed and get a proper link to arrange everything before the actual arrival, no communication on room exchange as of electrical problems, moved to the 9th floor having horrible water rain sounds all night long. Value for money:4/5 Service:3/5 Communication:2/5 Room:2/5 Comfort:1/5 Not expensive but definitely not a second chance specially if not using the facilities!!
