    I’d been searching for a Pilates instructor that made me feel safe in my body for over a year. After trying one of Melissa’s classes online (among trials with other highly reputable studios/instructors) I knew I’d finally found my fit. As a mindfulness practitioner myself, I was seeking a movement specialist that incorporated mindfulness into every aspect of their instruction as well as the way they ran their business. Melissa and The Well are it. Love walking away from my 1:1s feeling strong, self-aware and safe — and the stunning space and equipment are a bonus.

    I started taking classes with Melissa online in 2020 and got to take my first in person class with her this summer! The Well is a stunning, thoughtfully curated studio with brilliant instructors. The classes are intimate and personalized, I left feeling taken care of. Any time I’m in town, I’m there! Can’t wait to come back!

    5 stars to the staff and studio!! Being new to Pilates the staff acknowledged where I am at in my fitness journey, have provided support/encouragement along the way, and provide great education about the body as we move through the positions and workout. I feel good physically and emotionally when leaving a class. I highly recommend The Well.

    Maybe the best Pilate studio in DT Vancouver. The studio is new, clean and bright. The instructor Stephanie is wonderful. She is very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. I really enjoyed the classes here.

    Classes at The Well are great! There is a wide variety of classes which are all super inclusive of ability levels. All of the instructors are so friendly and welcoming too which makes it so much easier to attend. Slow Burn with Stephanie is such a great way to start your day :)

    Rise is one of the best workout classes I have ever done. The instructor amilya really cares and makes the class super fun. Her energy is amazing. The studio is also really nice and sleek. Love the kunye brand overall.

    Rise at the Well was a great experience. The studio is a great space for exercise and has great energy. The instructor was very encouraging and makes a tough workout very enjoyable! The variations of exercises make it a perfect class for all levels!

    The Well is a beautiful space and the perfect place to do your favourite workout classes. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and attentive during every class. They pair challenging movements with great music and add moments of mindfulness throughout. I would highly recommend the rebounding class (Rise) for a fun, unique and challenging workout!

    I can’t say enough good things about The Well, Melissa and all the instructors there. The studio is beautiful, clean and instantly puts you at ease. The classes themselves are so much fun and very engaging, and thanks to the small class size, you’re supported throughout. The classes are excellent no matter your comfort level with Pilates and you’ll very quickly notice that you keep wanting to go back all the time the more classes you do!

    I’ve been taking pilates reformer classes here for 6 months. Stephanie and Skye are awesome! They both are very engaging and make everybody feel included in class and check/correct your posture. If you want to improve your strength, take their classes!

    The Well is an absolutely fantastic studio that truly embodies mindfulness and movement ! My personal favorites are the rebounding class (“Rise”) and reformer pilates. All the instructors are genuinely friendly and this studio walks the talk when it comes to diversity and welcoming all those who go there!! Thank you to all the instructors that make this honestly the BEST place to have a fun workout in Vancouver!

    Have tried most of the workout classes at the Well, which has become my favourite fitness studio. Melissa and the other instructors are lovely, engaging, and motivating. The classes are small which I appreciate as you get personalized feedback on form and modifications. To top it off, the space is stunning with high ceilings, full length windows and a clean modern aesthetic.

    We worked with The Well team to run both an in-person and virtual event for our company retreat. They were both fantastic sessions. Everyone really appreciated the mental break from a busy work day. Melissa and her team were wonderful to work with leading up to the sessions and the instructors were calming, knowledgeable and the perfect vibe for a Slow Down session + Mindful Movement session. I highly recommend working with The Well team.

    Small group, good vibes. Melissa the studio owner and instructor for the RISE FOUNDATION class was friendly, has good energy and flexible for folks with different experiences. The other participants were helpful and encouraging. The facility is clean, tidy, and has high end equipment. The class itself could be as intense as you want it to be; there are options, thankfully, since I’m not fit. I would recommend to folks looking for a low-impact, fun workout.

    Cannot recommend this space enough! The Well is truly an incredible experience that is welcoming to all - no matter what background. I am able to feel welcome in my body just as it is, I like that the teacher all have different backgrounds. Being an immigrant myself and not straight sized this makes me feel like I can show up authentically. Highly recommend for anyone looking to take care of themselves and try out new workouts! The myofascial release class on Wednesday evening is my favourite ❤️

    I tried almost all the classes. As a fitness professional myself, I love how structured and detailed the classes are. Besides the staff and Melissa are always welcoming and offer different modifications for every exercise in case you want to make it harder or easier. The environment is very professional and clean and the equipment is high-end with a great quality. Thank you the Well for encouraging mindfulness in all the classes. Every time I leave the classes I feel like a new person.

    One of the best workouts I've done in a while and likely my new favourite exercise space in the city. Melissa is really attentive and corrects your movements to ensure you're getting the most out of your workout. The space is beautiful and the amenities go above and beyond. Great music to top it all off and motivate you to keep moving!

    We loved this beautiful small studio in Coal Harbour. We bought a private mini-rebounder class for our family, and we bounced and laughed with Melissa for an hour on a Saturday morning. Melissa was very warm and welcoming. I highly recommend a class at The Well.

    I honestly enjoy the people here at The Well. They've created a relaxed vibe with thoughtful, well planned classes that are often fun. This studio is my first recommendation to anyone wanting to find Pilates in Vancouver. Especially for those who have been nervous to try it out and wondering whether they might like it.     I've been meaning to write a review for some time now as this studio is a GEM of a place filled with incredible humans. The owner, Melissa created a place that is mindful, diverse and inclusive - and those actually are not buzz words, they are felt and intentional in everything the studio does. Come for an incredibly personalized workout and stay for the community. Plus the studio is GORGEOUS, with high end equipment.
