My first time here and I had the lasagna - it was absolutely delicious! It was massive and fed me for two meals. Meals came with some bread which was a nice touch; nothing fancy but tasty. I will say that my friend is lactose intolerant, and ordered his pasta with no cheese - it came out with cheese on top so he had to ask for it to be re-made, but it came out again within a few short minutes and the next morning my friend had severe stomach issue - so, unsure if it was maybe just re-tossed/re-plated with the cheese still in it? For what it’s worth, he said it was delicious haha. It’s not a typical restaurant - you order at the counter and they bring it you. But the staff working that day was super friendly and energetic which was very refreshing. There’s only a few tables, which makes it feel homey. I would come again for sure!

What a lovely new spot on main street south of king Ed! They have a lovely selection of treats and light breakfasts and lunches. I'm having a delicious egg and bacon quesadilla with perfectly cooked eggs. And all the staff have been very nice. You should check it out!

When the rating is 4.9, you expect a lot. Unfortunately, the pasta chef wasn't working that day so I had a sandwich. All the sandwiches are made with focaccia, which to be honest isn't my favourite bread. Too much bread. I had the mortadella, which was okay although I'm not a fan of raw leafy greens in a sandwich. It was alright. I could manage to eat only half of it. Cafe Bomba was nice. Hope to be back to try the pasta.

Visited this Italian street food spot and was genuinely impressed by the outstanding service! The tagliatelle pasta and Italian sandwich were delicious highlights. While the tiramisu was a bit overly localized for my taste (a tad too sweet), the cappuccino was on point. Bonus points for throwing in two complimentary slices of bread – a nice touch. The charming Italian names for the pasta dishes at the entrance added a welcoming vibe, and the '90s Italian songs playing in the background added a nostalgic and enjoyable atmosphere. Overall, a delightful experience with a few minor sweet notes in an otherwise savory adventure.

My mouth is happy My stomach is happy Good coffee. GREAT VEGAN OPTIONS for both breakfast and lunch. And donuts! Food is made IN HOUSE so it's fresh and tasty. My new go to place. My only request is that they extend business hours beyond their current 8am to 6pm. It's new so I'm hoping once they are up and running they'll be able to. 😁

Very friendly staff! Had a great oat milk latte with their breakfast sandwich. They have a great selection of vegan and vegetarian options (including donuts, and house made vegan brioche buns and tofu for their breakfast sandwiches). Will be going back to try more of their menu!

I ordered some lovely pasta here and the staff is very friendly. My only concern is that I was only able to visit because it’s a holiday and I don’t know when I’ll be able to come back. The business hours are very limited for a restaurant. A lot of people are working during their open hours and will miss out on this place. I hope they will decide one day to expand to evenings and/or weekends. I’d love to see this business thrive.

Been here twice in two weeks! Had the Bucatini all’amatriciana and Rigatoni alla Lonzza which was served with complimentary foccacia bread. The Bucatini was the stand out as the sauce was a delicious spicy kick and the bacon was perfectly crisp and juicy at the same time. The service was lovely and ambiance is very casual and low key. The portions are great value and will be back to try more next time! So happy to have this spot in the neighbourhood.

This opened where I live. Unbelievably good, my favourite place I crave every day. Their mushroom pizza is to die for it’s bigger than my head. Their pasta are made fresh to order… my partner and I are always mind blown every time we stop for lunch. Amazing service by Hong always- he is exceptionally friendly, best recommendations, fast service and made me the biggest fan!

Delicious food! It’s a mix of a walk up and sit down place with incredible service. Cannot recommend the lasagna and carbonara enough!

Truly authentic primi (pasta dishes). We’ve tried the puttanesca, alia oglio and carbonara, and amatriciana - each dish truly captures the essence of their names. Kudos to the kitchen and service team! Hong was a great host and server - we’ll be back to see him and the pasta soon!

Surprisingly great pasta from an unassuming shop. Some would say a hidden gem. We had the bucatini cacio e pepe and the tagliatelle porcini with 4 kinds of mushroom. Both were simply wonderful and delicious. Also had a great classic tiramisu for dessert. Server was very sweet and friendly. We’ll come in again very soon!

If you're looking for authentic Italian street food in Vancouver, look no further than Cofeteria. This little gem of a restaurant offers a mouthwatering array of paninis and pasta dishes all made fresh with high-quality ingredients. But it's not just the food that sets Cofeteria apart – the atmosphere is just as delightful and the friendly staff make you feel right at home. Overall, Cofeteria is a must-visit spot for any foodie in Vancouver. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is charming, and the prices are reasonable. Don't miss out on this little slice of Italy in the heart of the city!

I'm sorry, the caprese was so good I ate half of it before thinking to take a picture for the review! Also, this was the fastest I have ever seen carbonara be served, and it's incredible. If your nearby, you better stop by. Edit: The pistachio tiramisu should be illegal, it's so good. Ugh, my diet...

Small but very clean and friendly. Delicious sandwiches on house-made focaccia, tasty pasta dishes also made in house. Italian coffees and dolce for afterward 😋

Lovely service, and tasty food! I enjoyed the pizza and lasagna. The flavor of their sauce tastes like home. I wish they'd add more of the sauce, I can't wait to try more tomato based pasta or maybe gnocchi.

We have a great selection of donuts here in Vancouver, and with that being said, I've found that Cofeteria's donuts we're certainly lacking in most avenues. Chicken parmesan savory donuts that I had were just unfortunate. The amount of chicken in one donut probably only amounted to 2grams of shredded chicken. When you get a chicken parmesan, you immediately remind yourself of that breaded crunch, and that was nowhere to be found. And for a donut that is around 5 dollars, I'd expect a bit more than tiny shredded pieces of chicken. Regarding the sweet donuts, I think I had either purchased blueberry/raspberry, and it was just so sweet, and not in a good way. It was filled with this thick, voluminous icing that practically made it inedible. The donuts overall, had a seriously lack of pillowy-ness. It felt more like I was eating deep fried bread. It has the potential to be a great neighborhood spot, but on the donut front alone, I will not be recommending Cofeteria until changes are made.

Cofeteria Italian Street Food - 4363 Main St, Vancouver, BC V5V 3R1, Canada We went to try this place after seeing a high 4.9 rating in google map. This small shop along the Main Street serves awesome pasta at a very affordable pricing. Rigatoni alla gricia is highly recommended. The pasta is very al dente and the sauce is very flavourful. Definitely worth trying. I like the part where they serve complimentary garlic bread while we waited for our pasta #italianpasta #pastavancouver #italianvancouver

Well cooked italian food! Small, family run place with incredible service. The homemade Classic Tiramisu is it defiantly to have it. Will visit again.

Cute little place for pasta and sandwiches (and pizza?). Decent prices and delicious food. Every time I come here, the service has been amazing and everyone is very friendly. Good portions and the pasta is always cooked the way I like it. Look forward to coming back again.

I had an excellent spicy salami sandwich and my gf had the classic lasagna and both were spectacular! The customer service we received added to it as the man behind the counter very cheery and welcoming. I will be coming back!

Stumbling upon Cofecteria was a blessing. If you are looking for an affordable eat-in pasta place with amazing food (homemade meatballs and sauces) cooked to perfection served (and cooked) by an enthusiastic Hong then you have to come here. The ambience is positive, with Hong’s explanation of the menu and his contagious smile. My kids are full and satisfied and happy, and so am I.

I’m still sitting in and just enjoying the food and the services. Omg what a lovely little Italian restaurant. I love everything about it the food of course is just soooo delicious. Additionally, I’m having a great conversation with the server. He definitely is a plus to the restaurant. I’ll be back for more pasta. Yum yum 🤤

Wow. I had the most incredible Italian sandwich here! I love Italian sandwiches and this one had to be the best in Vancouver! The service was very friendly, and the atmosphere was okay, nothing special but also not terrible. I would HIGHLY recommend this place for their sandwiches. I can’t wait to come back and try their pasta!

Best place for a vegan breakfast sandwich!! My partner was sick of having only avocado toast at every restaurant as the vegan option. I don't even like breakfast sandwiches and I was blown away by the avocado grilled cheese. Would HIGHLY recommend - very affordable but fresh and delicious food. Amazing donuts available for dessert as well.

What a gem of a place! Soon as you walk into this welcoming spot. You can’t help but smile from the cosy space and smell fresh baked goods. Everything looks incredible and baked with care. The staff are excellent and accommodating. Main event is the food, doughnuts are fresh and the sandwiches are easily the tastiest on Main, incredible! Highly recommend this place

Visited this place while vacationing in Vancouver. It was absolutely delicious! I ended up having the Spaghetti & meat balls. Loved the garlic complimentary bread sticks! We will be coming back on our next trip out here.
