They specialize in crafting Thin Neapolitan pizza. This time, my wife surprised me by finishing an entire slice, which she doesn't typically do. That alone speaks volumes about the quality. We ordered a half-and-half combination of their captain’s favorite pizza and the meat lover's option. The experience was so delightful that we have already decided to return again in the future.

Amazing service from the staff and delicious made to order pizza! it is counter service but was treated like a sit down restaurant. they took great care of us making sure we had everything like water and sauces and checking in on us. their thin crispy crust pizza was cooked perfectly with lots of toppings but didnt weigh it down. you must try their in house garlic sauce for your crust. it is amazing! we got a large Captain's Favourite. Will definitely come back when we visit Vancouver.

Picked up a Too Good To Go Bag from here. It was good value at $6 with a selection of different pizza flavours. The pizza was ok but not the best I've had. Good to get if you're hungry and want something to fill your stomach. Update: I had the opportunity to try out their pizza again. I ordered a personal size steak & cheese pizza and it was very good and the service was fantastic. It's best to eat the pizza right away straight out of the oven with it's piping hot. I'm not sure what cheese was used on the pizza but it was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be coming back again.

A change in Neapolitan pizza for me as the only Neapolitan pizza in my city is a pizza chain famoso. Anyway onwards to the review as you are probably here to read my review. The pizza is good as I believe it is Tuscan or Toscana. Nice saltiness from the green olives and pancetta. Crispy crust as it were baked to perfection. Pizza is cut perfectly that each slice is big. Next time I will try the works or meat lovers pizza. You can order pizza by the slices too.

We ordered pizza here for lunch recently, and it was an excellent choice. I haven't had really good pizza for a while, so it was a nice change to hear about Captain's Oven Pizza. It is just located in downtown of Vancouver on West Pender St. We ordered a large of the Captain's Favourite and a large of the Margherita pizza. Very much indeed pleased by this take out place. The pizza is like a flat bread style which I love, I'm not into thick bready styled pizza, and very flavourful. I would definitely recommend this pizza restaurant to others. Pizza at this place is great! Always cooked well, fresh igredient and tasty! I usually go for the Portuguese flavour and the Catupiry one! A bit pricy but worth to have the esperience if you want something like "Brazilian" style pizza. The girl that took our order was extremely nice, polite and professional. I usually have the pizza delivered at home, but this time want to experience in store. The place is fine,nothing major to be impressed, but clean and with the essential. I definitely recommend it! To the owner: please don't change recipes, or the pizza dough procedure or other. It is perfect how it is. The classic calzone is also so tasty. Great job.

I ordered a large The Works over the phone to be picked up and they were super-friendly. Great customer service! We also loved the pizza! The ingredients were fresh, the cheese was real and the crust was oven-baked, which tasted delicious! You could taste every single topping on the pizza...which means what?....it was fresh and carefully put together. I usually don't have more than 2 slices max, but this was so tasty that I had 3. Another thing I loved about this place was the price. It's very reasonable considering what you're getting. While in Vancouver, I've tried other pizza places that you pay more but the quality was not even close. I also like the fact that these guys have a variety of creative selections (check out their menu) Yeah!...we'll definitely order from this great place again!

Great service. The staffs were very friendly. Delicious pizza. I ordered Fiesty Indian large pizza which tasted awesome and exceeded my expectations. Chocolate dream dessert was really yummy 😋 but I didn't like Tiramisu there, the cake slices were like it was been there for a while and it was very soggy. It could have been more fresh. Apart from that I loved this place.

First time I ordered 2 gluten-free pizzas to go they were not very filled and got cold quickly but yesterday I went there with 2 friends who shared a delicious big pizza while I enjoyed a generous tuna-cheese one. It's a local pizza place so not meant to be cosy but it's clean and the employees are nice, definitely worth a stop for good simple food.

The most delicious Hawaiian pizza I’ve had! The crust was light yet slightly doughy with a nice chew. Toppings were so tasty esp the ham. Would highly recommend!

I bought 2 pizza for a friend birthday. I had 2 large Chicken pesto and Fiesty Indian both half and half with extra $4 charge. I paid $3 for 3 garlic sauce to go as well. I had lot of Neapolitan pizza in Vancouver as well abroad this joint is good.

Truthfully a little disappointed with this place. The reviews are fantastic yet I think they were just so busy they rush the pizzas out. Quality over quantity people. The sauce had no flavour and the dough was undercooked on the inside and burnt on the outside. A plus is that they let you mix half and half but still.. it’s not a 4.7. More like a 3.8.

I always enjoy to go Captain’s Oven Pizza, they do have various kinds of pizzas which are flavourful. And the staffs are welcoming and look always happy😁 I like the concept when we order we can get the pizza from the oven right after. They do have lunch combo but I haven't tried yet. I wanna try the lunch combo next time

Legit margarita pizza. Extremely fresh ingredients: crispy thin crust, oven hot and quality cheese. Chili oil and flakes elevated our pizza experience. ***Outstanding service—fast, welcoming and effective, even when resto was full and many takeout orders. Highly recommend.

Great Pizza With Friendly Staff I had a meat lover pizza in medium size, I tried several kinds of pizzas from more than 10 restaurants close to this restaurant,but this Pizza is distinctive, delicious and different; definitely I will come back to this restaurant again. Cashiers (Cherry & ela) was very friendly and welcomed me politely.

Possibly the best pizza in Vancouver? They have a lot of creative flavours like cheesesteak and I appreciated the Soprasetta. It had a balance of savoury with honey to contrast, and the cheesesteak was also rich and flavourful. However, one thing that was pervasive in both pizzas was the wetness of the toppings, There's a lot of sauce and cheese, and the base ends up being soggy while the crust remains chewy.

The pizza is amazing!! Is the best, the flavour is so delicious! And the service is outstanding. I highly recommend them and I am going back. The place is great to enjoy a nice pizza with friends. The street where it's is quiet so you can enjoy a good chat with friends.
