Naturally, we ordered their beer flight. I had such a great time with friends that I can't quite recall the taste, but I do remember it being enjoyable.

This is my first time here, and we had a great time . We sit by the bar, and we l enjoyed it. Our servicer, Blaize, was very knowledgeable and friendly. She knows everything about the beer and the food . We were amazed by how much she knew about everything on the menu. She is super nice and outgoing. We ordered craft beer , a couple flights. The wings we ordered were delicious and loved our beer. We will definitely invite our friends and come back again.

I’ve been to this place back in 2016 and was not a fan of it as the food selection is pretty limited and there’s only beer and cider on the drink menu. But the recent visit has completed changed my mind, not only do they have a wide variety of food selections now, they also have cocktails, which are all very yummy, I definitely see myself coming back more often!

Arrived early to a large group dinner and were thoughtfully greeted. Loved the bourbon cocktail to start and the poutine add bacon was unbelievably delicious. Chickpea flour fried chicken wings has the best flavour and dinner tacos just as yummy. Everyone was delighting in the food amidst the vintage atmosphere.

Love this place. Chill vibe, comfortable seating, and fabulous beers. Loved the ferry cider. The burger and fries — comfort food on a plate. Nice place to get a few drinks.

The food was delicious. If you like mussels and clams, I highly recommend. Servings are perfectly sized and pricing is on par for the area. The service is also really good.

Really friendly service, casual dining that’s great for happy hour, and great beer selection, Came here on a Friday night and it wasn’t hard to get a table. Spicy mango margarita was potent and yummy, and the poutine was delightful! Best poutine I have had in CA so far. Also, the wings were very yummy - could have used a thicker sauce (but that’s coming from a TX girl) but had such a great vineagar-esque zing to it. Would come here again!

Great beer selection, even better food. We were just stopping in for a beer, and didn't expect to get dinner as well. The food was amazing! We even stayed for dessert, which we never do. Pictured is a special squash salad that was being served that night. I would get it again in a heartbeat!

Update: formerly a five star review. Had such a terrible experience of being forced to move seats around while eating that I can no longer recommend this place. Food menu is no longer interesting, beer menu is half what it used to be. So sad that this formerly go-to place I can no longer recommend. I know the past two years have been hard on businesses but kindness and good service don’t cost a business anything. I’d planned on staying longer and enjoying leisurely drinks and more food, unfortunately the rudeness we experienced cut that experience short. From 2020: Go here if you love craft beer and obscure beers. We are never disappointed. Plan on spending lots because it will be worth it. Try some flights to get a sense of all the lovely flavour options. The wine and cocktail lists are also good. The rotating menu of cheese and charcuterie options is always a good bet and we always start our evening there with one of those. The house salad is simple and delicious, another favourite. For dinner, their fresh sheet is always full of delicious delights. I think what I love is that it is never the same twice - with the huge rotating list of beer taps and the regularly refreshed fresh sheet, no two visits will be the same. We discover new breweries and beers we can’t find anywhere else by visiting here. Enjoy!

This is an awesome location within a charming and historic building. The seating options are diverse and the atmosphere is fantastic. Their menu of food and drinks offers a wide range of impressive choices. I decided to try something new and ordered the pork belly burger, which was absolutely delicious. Additionally, the fries were cooked to perfection and had an excellent flavor. The service was prompt and friendly. Overall, a superb place in Gastown that I'll definitely return to in the future.

The food is fantastic! Highly recommend the pork belly sandwich! I already miss it. So Yum 🤤 The drinks were ok… we ordered few other drinks just the cider is not as bubbly as the way I like.

The trains passing by outside the window set the whole atmosphere for this place. Moreover, the friendly staff, delicious food, and beer perfectly completed the ambiance here. I recommend visiting this great restaurant in Gastown.

We had such a lovely time at Alibi Room last night - great service, didn’t feel rushed, good happy hour menu & beer selection. I had the fried chicken sandwich which was tasty & the other had pork belly which he raves about. Whatever you eat try the onion mayo! Appreciate being able to walk into a place on a Friday night in Vancouver & have a lovely little leisurely dinner. Will be back :)

Updated: The first time I came here, although the food and drink were great, I had a bit of an unsavoury experience with customer service based on an internal miscommunication which I mentioned in my first review that I had left with three stars, explaining what had happened. They replied right away and offered a visit on the house, saying I should email them to set it up. I spontaneously went tonight, however I hadn’t reached out to management yet to arrange anything. Since I enjoyed the food and drinks during my last visit, I didn’t mind going back and paying since I genuinely liked what I ordered. When I walked in I guess they must have recognized me from The photo I have on my Google profile and said that my visit would be covered. Anyways I very much appreciate that they offered this to make up for the misunderstanding from my last visit, it was very considerate and kind of them. The service was great this time; food and drink once again amazing. I got the braised short rib which was phenomenal and so tender, didn’t even need a knife to cut through the meat. The drink I got I think was called the bourbon renewal, which is the one with cassis. It is an Excellent cocktail and I highly recommend for any bourbon lovers out there. I will definitely be back here. Much appreciation to the management for following up 🫶🏼

I’ve been meaning to try to this place and DAMN was I not disappointed. We came for their happy hour and it delivered. Snack size poutine was delicious. There tacos were probably some of the best I’ve ever had which is saying a lot. Pretzel buns and cheese sauce was not too bad. We each got a flight of their beers and each one had a unique flavour. Highly recommend checking this place out. The vibe is amazing and the people are super friendly. We’ll be back forsure.

Enjoyed some great drinks and food during happy hr. If your willing to make a bit of a trip out of your way, then this is the place to stop by.

Amazing selection of beer and friendly staff. Tables are well spaced out and outdoor patio is a nice feature. It was very hot inside the restaurant as there was no AC running (maybe it was on but not enough to keep the place cool).

The drink selection is excellent. The vibe is perfect. I always have a great time with friends here. Food is good to average classic pub food (really we come for the drink selection)

This is a great spot in a really cool, old building. They have a variety of seating and a great vibe. Their food and drink menu has a lot of great options. I branched out and got the pork belly burger which was delicious. The fries were also perfectly done and were really tasty. The service was quick and friendly. A great spot in Gastown that I will definitely visit again.

The food was great, the burger was amazing and the fries, I think are one of the best in town. Unfortunately, I have to give 3 stars as the service was terrible, the server will get mad at us everytime that we will order, it was very uncomfortable situation. I will recommend the place for take out, as the good is delicious, but unfortunately the service has a lot to improve.

Extensive beer list, recommend doing a flight to sample a few. The alibi burger was delicious, the pork belly burger had sticky meat which was unpleasant on the teeth.

I asked bartender what IPA I should try, and he gave me an excellent suggestion. However all their beer selection was great. I tired 5 beers and all of them was nice. Meet & cheese board was perfect. Highly recommend.

Atmosphere and vibe are great. It was pretty busy but they didn't seem to have enough staff on hand it seems as our waitress took a long time to get to us each time. She was however lovely and pleasant. Drinks: We ordered a couple of tasting flights. Well priced and great selection. Food: We ordered the chicken wings and a side of fries. The chicken wings were okay, but not something I would order again. They were very lightly seasoned and had very little flavour. The fries were fries but overpriced in my opinion for the portion you get.

This place offers a broad and varied selection of beers. There have a beer flight option which is really nice if you want to try many different beers.

Had quick dinner with my friend and it was fantastic. I would love to go again for drinks and dessert! I had pork belly sandwich with fries and it was amazing. I highly recommend it if you visit

Lots of room here to hang out (upstairs and downstairs). The beer selection is always fantastic, with every type available (sour, IPA, stout, etc). If you like a boozy dessert, try their banana bread pudding which has a generous dose of bourbon.

Beer and ciders were great! Service too...the veggies burger was fantastic and Asian noodle dish was tasty. There was a bit of a cold, weird vibe from the hostess but otherwise we had a good time and enjoyed the drinks especially.

As for someone who is not an avid Beer Drinker this place was very nice. Atmosphere was great, food was delicious and the "Berry Sour" was perfect.

I love the new patio seating, with a good balance of sun and shade options. Really glad they made it through the pandemic! Happy to be able to come back to this place, with its excellent beer menu and solid food options, while still feeling comfortable, not crowded and safe. Great, friendly service.

The food here is amazing and our waitress recommended some great drinks for us. I just love the atmosphere of this place. Unfortunately the hostesses was not very friendly but otherwise we had a great time.

Amazing selection of local and other Canadian brews. The staff was super nice and helped us with selecting some interesting beers :) Very good atmosphere there too!

Great beer selection, yummy food, great service, and cool ambiance. Started with the sautéed peppers (from their "fresh sheet" menu) which were great. A combination of small bitter peppers with a slight smokey kick, sautéed with olive oil, lemon and salt. A great nibble to pair with drinks. Mains included the veggie burger with the works - cheese, bacon and mushrooms. Our server referred to this as "the hypocrite" haha, but the smokiness from the bacon really paired well with the beets and other earthy flavours in the veggie burger. This is a veggie burger that is not trying to be anything but a veggie burger, and it is delicious. Highly recommend. They also do a split fries/salad side - both were solid. The other main was the noodle dish also from the "fresh sheet". We ordered it with the pork belly on top. To be honest this tasted a bit confusing - the noodles and main part of the dish were very pad thai-ish, and the pork belly was reminiscent of bbq pork with a sticky-sweet sauce. Would recommend skipping the pork belly add-on, the tofu in the noodle dish was nicer texturally and the pork sauce threw off the balance in the dish.
