I hardly write reviews but I really loved to leave my feedback about such a great restaurant in downtown Vancouver. Let’s start with the following 1- meet and greet ( the best family environment) wife, husband and daughter working with a great smile. 2- the family cocks with passion and smile while preparing your dish 3- lintel soup, reminded me with my grandma which is super wow 4- u must try the Kunafeh, best ever in BC, hand made, cheese is great, amount to syrup is perfect , perfectly roasted And lastly The restaurant makes u feel home All the love to this family and please keep the great work Bravo 👍😍🙏

From beginning to end, fantastic! Loved the vibe, it’s a family owned business and their food is awesome. We got the lahmajeen, cheese and zataar, and they were all so delicious! I personally loved the beef one (lahmajeen)! Make sure to grab the garlic sauce if you like side dips like I do!

Came in on a Thursday afternoon and sat inside. Clean and Rustic decor. Meet the owners who were very friendly. I had the special with lentil soup and my friend had the half special half cheese and lentil soup. We also had the knefeh for dessert. Everything was tasty and delicious. Definitely a must if you want authentic homemade Palestinian dishes.

With only three tables in this quaint, authentic and homey gem, you have to be lucky and privileged to be a part of the awesome dining experience you receive here! The owner is extremely kind and legitimate one of the nicest guys I have ever met. He also threw in an extra huge Flatbread with hummous and dips on the house for us all to enjoy. They don't normally do table reservations as it's a small mom and pop style eatery, but when I called and explained we were desperate to try the food and sit in, he was more than accommodating. The food here is to die for. Whilst I'm in a Flatbread coma at present, I cannot describe how yummy this food is. Watching it being made fresh to order in the Flatbread oven is a great experience and shows how authentic and down to flavor this food is. The owner puts a huge emphasis of pride and effort into every order which is a credit to the delicious taste of every single bite. My favorite by far was the falafel Flatbread with very bold and exciting flavors whilst beautifully presented on a long board across our table. We got six Flatbreads between two couples and completely stuffed of deliciousness, a single Flatbread alone is more than enough for one serving. The restaurant itself is very cozy, laid back and homey vibe and transports you straight into culture, it's fantastic. Their menu is great for both veggies and meat eaters with additional vegan options. The menu isn't huge, but every item has its mark and is made to perfection which makes it a perfect selection to choose from without being overwhelmed. Honestly, the best kind of middle Eastern cuisine experience I have ever had! Fresh ingredients, efficient service and real home authentic cooking at fantastic value for money! I cant wait to go back and try the lentil soup. Support local!

It took me a while to notice the existence of this place but definitely a great find in yaletown. Freshly baked flat bread and a great variety of Syrian tastes. How salty the food is varies by the sauces or condiments added. Probably it would sense check the menu with the chef there, and they are very nice.

This little restaurant on Davie caught me by surprise! My girlfriend and I wanted to try something different, we walked in and were greeted by these 2 very friendly ladies. The dough was made right there and then and was steaming and the seasoning was to die for…. I wanted to take pictures of the food right away, but it was so good we snatched a couple pieces before I could. The price is also reasonable and the ambient is very cozy on any day!

THE BEST authentic middle eastern food I have eaten. Being a wedding photographer I have eaten lots of middle eastern food but this wins the Top award. The sitting area is small... But it also gives you an amazing feeling of warmth. Definitely not a place for date night or big family dinner. But it's definitely worth every single penny. I am so Impressed with food over all.

Wow, this place is a true gem! Delicate, so well prepared traditional Manakish that are so rich in flavour and tasty. The service is also so attentive, with so much hospitality. And the fact that it’s a family-run business makes it even more homey! Thank you so much!

Randomly found this hidden gem. They have a large clay (?) oven right in this hole in the wall stop in Yaletown. Ordered some wraps and flatbreads. I really liked the sujuk topped bread; minimalistic although i it wasn’t as spicey as the sujuk I’ve had while living in Europe. The service and atmosphere were so-so; it’s a tiny place but a good lunch deal.

I ordered the zaatar, lentil soup, hummus, and knafeh. All were delicious and very fresh. The zaatar and knafeh were hot out of the oven. The owner and his daughter were very nice. Don’t let my four stars for atmosphere deter you - it’s not really a sit down kind of place. They do have a few tables for convenience. I did eat at the restaurant and it was pleasant. But if you want comfy/cozy, you may want to take it to go. Manoush’eh is definitely on my list of places to return to.

The best flatbreads I’ve ever had by far. And more so they are as authentic as flat beards get. Had the Zaatar which took me back to our trip to the Levant a few years ago, with the fire oven added a special crisp to it. Also had the Pide and Maoush’eh special which were both fantastic. Looking forward to trying the Muhammara jeebneh next time! This quaint spot is a must visit, preferably to eat at the restaurant right as it comes out of the fire oven.

Felt authentic. Small, family owned and run. Little disappointed with the knefeh but overall, pretty good. The bread could've been a 'tad' less dry. But so well cooked! Only 2 tables.

This looked like a cute little place run by a family. There isn't a lot of seating but worth it to eat it fresh. We tried their sbanekh and the Zaatar and the cheese manousheh. These breads were baked fresh right in front of us and we loved sbanek, there are pies with a lemony, sour sauce and spinach. I Definitely recommend visiting this place. This is a Very budget friendly place.

Amazing restaurant near the Granville strip. We got the zaatar and cheese manousheh and knafeh and loved both dishes. Good balance of cheese and zaatar, fresh and tasty food priced well. Will be back to try the wraps and falafel and will bring more friends to help them discover authentic middle Eastern food!

Delicious, authentic and healthy.. What a wonderful experience! You don’t want to miss this super tasty Syrian food in Vancouver. The owners are so kind and friendly. Note: Prepare yourself to be a regular customer if you live in Vancouver, I’m sure you will love it.😄

Great place for manoushe or their new chicken sandwiches! The owners are super nice, the food is delicious and customer service is wonderful, what more can you ask for. If you're looking for a vegetarian option, I recommend the Cheese Shami manoushe, if you're vegan, the Zaatar Manoushe and if you love meat, I recommend the new Arabic Chicken Sandwich. For desert, the konafa and the Rez bi halib ( rice pudding) are really yummy. 😍

I had never had Syrian food & was absolutely blown away by the meal here. I honestly didn’t know what to expect, but the local family running the restaurant were super gracious in making good recommendations & suggesting options. The manoushe’eh special is an explosion of flavours that all play exceptionally well together. I’d now recommend this to anyone visiting Van & interested in trying something new (or seeking Syrian cuisine) The knafeh was also really delicious, a great mixture of savoury from the cheese & sweet from the syrup/honey. Phenomenal dessert.

Absolutely loved it. Fresh from the stone oven. The best part, filling was right till the edges. We ordered Sham Style and the spicy beef one. The gentleman who took our order was very kind and and great to talk. Such a great spot to have in this area! Highly recommended and always coming back.

A small place with 3 tables where the owner prepares the food with his wife. Don't be fooled by the size of the place, though. We tried 3 classics: Jebneh, sbanekh and zaatar. The food was really tasty, especially the Jebneh & sbanekh. The presentation was also nice and the owner was friendly. The prices could be reduced, though. It's a bit overpriced for flatbread in my opinion.

Why am I giving a tiny hole in the wall father/daughter Levantine flatbread shop 5 stars for food? Its just that good. Period. I watched fresh dough rolled out, spiced and popped into a brick oven and then directly onto my plate and that my friends is the way to have it! Do yourself a flavour and try it out. The service is great and even the vibe is nice, kind of warm and chill.

I ordered: - Knefeh: I rate 2/5. Very disappointed. Not even close to Knefeh. I am not sure what creative version this is, but it's not Knefeh. As a middle eastern, I tried many Knefehs, from Syrian, to Lebanese, to Palestinian, to Turkish versions. I can't say that this one is right. I will never order it again. - Zaatar Manousheh: 5/5. as close ato authentic as it gets and I would definitely order it again. - Mhamara: 3/5. It tasted good would order it again if I am craving something spicy. - Cheese pie: 2/5. It's supposed to be salty by nature....from the cheese. Not what I expected and not as authentic tasting. Will not order again. I enjoyed 1 out of 4 items. I will stick to ordering from better places like Paramount or Arabesque for a more authentic and tasting flavour.

We came from Seattle to Vancouver and this place was the first on the lost. It didn’t disappoint at all. This place took me back to the warmest memories of home. Everything we ordered tasted exactly how I imagined and even better. All the ingredients are homemade. Authenticity at its best. Service, presentation and owners are amazing. Highly recommend.

The best ever middle east restraunt(MUST TRY), I could feel my taste buds traveling back to 🇶🇦, literally almost killed me with each bite WITH there chicken flat breads. I was just a little disspointed with the kunafa, as I love the hard one way back home but it's just the soft and maybe it's my mistake as I should I asked them for it. Authentic to the core ❤️. Home sweet home 💗, i felt so energictic as I missed it for too long. Thank you for building a restaurant. Please guys only hands, no do with forkes and knifes, no never 🤗
