Michael did a fantastic job showing us around, providing a ton of background information and of course, introducing us to 12 fantastic meals, snacks and drinks. Totally worth it and highly to recommend!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This was an outstanding way to tour Granville Island! I was able to try fantastic small businesses that I wouldn't have known about otherwise, and was blown away by each one. Our guide, Manuela was entertaining and always had something interesting to share about every spot we visited. It was great to see how she actually knew each vendor and could share the personal stories about them. Insider tip: Be sure to bring cash though so you can give gratuities to your guide at the end Thanks Manuela!

We had the best time with Lydia on our Foodie Tour in the Granville Island Public Market. Loved hearing about the vendors and why and how they got started in business. The foods tasted were well chosen and hit the spot every time. All were winners!

Went on the Gastronomic Gastown Tour with coworkers, today!!! The restaurant hopping was fun… and our guide Anjela was awesome. She explained about the history of Gastown and the restaurants… Overall it was a fun experience.

We took the Authentic Asian Eats tour a few days ago. It was great to learn not just about food, but also the rich history and culture of the Richmond area more broadly. Our guide Anjela was outstanding, and her knowledge and enthusiasm second to none. Needless to say, all the food we sampled was delicious. Highly recommend.

This is a great tour. The food was amazing-some familiar dishes made with high quality preparation and some things new to me-both traditional and contemporary. The pace allows for conversation to flow. Our guide shared her passion for history, cuisine, and culture. The tour makes lower mainland Chinese food accessible for those new to it while still offering surprises to experienced eaters. It was a fun time eating like a local!

Four of us joined this food tour and it did not disappoint! Our host, Michael, did an amazing job navigating us through a very crowded market. Well worth the cost of the tour to skip all the crazy lineups and try such a wide variety of food and drinks. The extra historical information as we enjoyed the food was interesting to hear, and we appreciated the discounts offered to tour participants at the places we visited. Highly recommend!

I recently went on the Granville Island foodie tour with my wife and had a lovely time. Our guide Lydia, was very friendly and knowledgeable and the whole group of people on the tour, tourists like ourselves from around the world, quickly gelled. This tour is centred around restaurants and eateries in the Granville public market, where the variety of cooked food, coffees, cheeses, pastries, meats, cakes, doughnuts, as well as an astounding display of fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh meat, fish stalls leaves you wanting for nothing. We spent a thoroughly enjoyable couple of hours being led by Lydia so we could try out all of these delicious treats. Well worth doing if you are visiting Vancouver; in fact we would say a MUST!

Very enjoyable tour! Our awesome guide Anjela provided interesting background and insight into the culture. The food tastings were delicious and we got some great ideas for things to do on our own. Highly recommend!

Loved the tour. We did the Granville Island Market tour with Anjela. She was very knowledgeable about the many vendors. We got a history lesson along with tasting all the delicious food. So many different flavors - all good!! Highly recommend! 👍

What a wonderful way to bring people together through a love of food! Michelle's foodie tours are amazing! As a long-time Vancouverite, I've discovered more amazing venues that I didn't know existed! Next on my list? The Authentic Asian Eats!

I had a great experience with Vancouver Foodie Tours as part of a lunch club with the Coralus network. Michelle made me feel very welcome and included and really set us up for a special connection together as a group. Also the good was fabulous!

As a first-time visitor to Vancouver, I wanted to make the most of my quick trip! There's no better way to see a place than through its food. Lydia was an amazing tour guide as we weaved through Granville Island to learn the history of the different food stands, have tasty bites, and build community with the rest of the tour group. It was a really fun morning - I would highly recommend anyone doing this tour!

Authentic Asian Eats Walking Tour. Our tour guide, Anjela, did an amazing job of introducing us to the area we were in, the food we were eating and the significance of both of these. She was engaging and made it comfortable for us! We enjoyed the different types of food we ate, the pacing, and thoughtfulness of food choice from start to finish (starting with "heavier" or filling food, then smaller amounts or snack size type of food.) Overall, would recommend, even if you're a local! Always good to learn about new food spots!

This was a fabulous food tour! Michael is extremely knowledgeable and explained all about the different artisanal foods we were tasting. There was a wide variety of food to be tasted - bread, cheese, smoked salmon, cakes, coffee and many more. It was all so delicious that at the end we all had trouble deciding which had been our favourite food on the tour!

I took both the Granville Island and Asian Eats tour and both were AMAZING! Our guide at Granville (Teddy) was an absolute master at managing a large group in a crowded space. He was super knowledgeable about each vendor and handed out an insane amount of delicious samples. Daray led a surprise private tour of Richmond (only my partner and I signed up that day) and it felt like I was touring the city with a friend. She wove personal stories throughout and we ended up connecting on a lot of common interests. Oh, and of course all of the food options were spectacular. I would highly recommend Vancouver Foodie Tours to anyone visiting the city!

I was able to join the Authentic Asian Eats Tour in August 2022, along with my wife. We had a great time and felt that the tour provided us with so much value. The guide was so personable and friendly and did show serious attempts to let us on the inside "scoop" by suggesting other businesses as tastings as we walked our way through the tour. We loved learning about the new foodie spots in our backyard (where we live). In fact, 2 weeks after the tour, we decided to take a friend to Fisherman's Terrace and bumped into our previous tour guide on the way into the restaurant, she immediately recognized us and smiled. Highly recommended.

We hired Vancouver Foodie Tours to host an online virtual Happy Hour with our team of 18 employees over zoom and they did an amazing job. We have been working from home for over a year and we wanted to add some team fun and interaction and Michelle and her team did an amazing job hosting and getting everyone to talk, laugh, share and eat delicious food. Michelle hosted icebreaker games and went through a tasting with us. All our staff had their packages delivered the day prior to the event. I highly recommend this to anyone and dealing with Michelle and her team was pleasure. They were so fast with all replies and accommodating. THANK YOU

My girlfriend and I were visiting vancouver and could not pass up the chance to try all the diverse cuisines in Vancouver. We thought it be best if a food guide would be able to show us all the highlights. We went on a 3 hour food tour of gas town with our delightful guide Dina, and we were not disappointed! Dina was knowledgeable, friendly, enthusiastic and did everything she could to ensure her guests were happy and satisfied! The food featured on this particular tour was well curated and thoughtful. We were extremely satisfied with the quality, quantity and different types of food featured on this food tour. Would recommend to anyone!

My husband and I recently experienced the Christmas Classics Market tour on Granville Island and had an outstanding experience. We are Vancouver locals and highly recommend this experience to locals and visitors alike. Our guide, Dina, was extremely personable, knowledgeable, and just a joy to be around! She really knew the inside scoop on the best artisan foods and Christmas specialties to enjoy in the market, and we loved learning the personal stories behind all the amazing vendors. Thanks for a fabulous time!

What can I say? Vancouver Foodie Tours was a delightful experience from beginning to end... and dare-I-say... post-end! Not only did I learn local stories about Vancouver, I discovered some of the most amazing foodie hot-spots, and walked away with a booklet on other places to satiate my foodie cravings. 12/10 recommend, and bring a friend. It's a wonderful experience to have with someone you adore.

I wanted to take some work partners on a fun food and drink adventure in Vancouver and decided on the Vancouver Foodie Tours Gastown tour. First off, the tour leader Dina was amazing at bringing the group together and creating a super fun atmosphere for all participants. We visited many restaurants to sample local, authentic food and drink pairings and between stops we learned about the rich history of Gastown. The food was amazing and we sampled many local beers, wines and cocktails. Our group really loved the variety of experiences and I have decided to take another set of friends on the very same tour. Thank you Dina and Vancouver Foodie Tours!!

This was an amazing tour, even for a long-time Vancouver local like me! I learned a lot I didn't know about Gastown, and 3/4 of the restaurants we visited were new to me. Our guide Dina was full of information, and I was pleasantly surprised that she also had extensive restaurant and chef experience, which really came through in her knowledgeable introductions to the delectable pairings. Perhaps the best part was being able to walk in to four of Vancouver's top restaurants, VIP style and be tasting within minutes... then off to the next destination without worrying about billing or waiting around. Highly recommended.

Recently did the Gastown Foodie Tour, guided by Dina. I would highly recommend this tour to both Vancouver visitors and locals. The walking tour is a great way to experience the vibe of Gastown and learn about the history from a knowledgable tour guide. The food was amazing (shoutout to the prawns at Sardine Can, I'll be going back for those) and the drinks paired so well. Dina really made the tour feel like a group of friends and was incredibly friendly with each guest, sharing her own favourite places to eat and getting to know us. Overall a great experience!

We all tend to forget how great of a city we live in here in Vancouver. For the first time, my family and i decided to do a foodie tour of Granville Island. What better way to do is than to take a tour with Vancouver Foodie Tours. Based on their reviews from others, I had high expectations. Well, Vancouver Foodie Tours exceeded my expectations! I ate local food that I've never even eaten before and through this tour, I grew a closer understanding about our city and our culture. I did the Granville Island Market Tour and it was a lot of fun! We brought our 2 boys (ages 7 and 5) and it was an awesome experience. They usually don't try out a lot of new foods but for the first time, they loved the different foods the tour brought us! They especially loved the glazed donuts from Lee's Donuts! I never saw my younger sons eye open so wide before! The tour guide was awesome! You know she loved giving these tours and she knew her stuff! The staff at the ticket booth was very friendly and now, we understand why people gave this company such high marks! If you have young kids, this is a great tour to go on as there is minimal walking! Thank you Vancouver Foodie Tours! I cannot wait to try the other tours soon!

My husband and I did the Granville island tour while on vacation in Vancouver and had so much fun! The food was AMAZING and we were so full by the end of the tour! Our tour guide knew so much about the location and it's history, along with the vendors and all about the delicious food we ate. The food was definitely the highlight of the tour, and we still go back to visit the shops when have been back to Granville Island since then.

Took the Granville Island food tour in the morning with my Dad visiting from out of country. It was amazing! We tried a vast selection of foods and it was all wonderful! Our guides were knowledgeable, fun, and paid attention to all the little details from palette cleanings to keeping our group in the warm sun! I'm definitely going on another Foodie Tour! Highly recommend for tourists and locals who want to try a bit of everything at Granville Market.

We took our Vancouver based sales team on the Granville Island Foodie Tour. Fantastic guide (Angela), wonderful food and very organized tour, that catered to food allergies and restrictions. We live here and it was still a unique experience for us all!

Vancouver Foodie Tours is a fun way to explore the city as a local. I took the guided tour of Granville Island, with our spirited guide Anjela. We visited many places and I got to taste sample-sized products that I probably would have missed otherwise. Don't be fooled by the size, as the number of servings builds up over time. It was a fun way to network as well as learn about the stories of the businesses we visited. Honestly did not expect to be able to nibble through the variety of food items that we did. You could tell that the market businesses and the tour group were a part of a local and close-knit community by the sheer level of preparedness in terms of catering for the multiple ongoing tours of that day. Our guide, Anjela was efficient, well-trained, super friendly, had great knowledge of the history of the businesses and area, and was always on task with dietary restrictions. Would recommend Vancouver Foodie Tours for corporate tours, as a way to engage employees and even if you want to learn more about the city in a fun way. Once I headed home, I ended up booking a tour of Richmond and I am sure will join more tours in the future.

The Authentic Asian Eats tour was such a great way to discover all of the best local eats in the Richmond neighbourhood. Although I have been a resident of Vancouver for over 10 years, I usually only go to Richmond with Chinese-speaking friends (so that they can do the ordering for me), but now I have the confidence to not only go myself, but to introduce friends to some of the amazing spots we visited on this tour! I highly recommend this tour!!

Michael was a great guide on our Granville Market tour! He was funny and included everyone in our diverse group in the fun. This is our second time doing the same tour (different friends with us) but both times were great, and we visited some different vendors so we learned and tasted new things. Highly recommend!

We booked the VIP tour of Granville Island Market. It was AMAZING!! Anjela our tour guide was awesome. She had so much knowledge and love for the area to share. The flow and choices of food tastings were perfect. Every bite was just got better and better. We would highly recommend the tour. Looking forward to our next visit so we can try another experience.

Michelle is the master of creating fun food-centric events in Vancouver. Couldn't ask for anything more than good food and good company. Can't wait to book a team event with Foodie Tours next!
