I really didn't know what to expect when I looked up this park and decided to go while I was on vacation. I really wanted to get some nice views of Vancouver and this park completely exceeded my expectations. Not only are the grounds completely beautiful with various gardens and landscapes, but the view of the mountain and city are just unbeatable for this location. There are several scenic spots for wonderful pictures and there is even a restaurant on site which offers the same gorgeous news. My only caution is that if you are walking from the train station, the walk is very much uphill to the park and significantly so from the bottom of the hill and can be quite strenuous. There is parking and I would certainly recommend that if you have any mobility issues. Really a wonderful spot!

Finally I had a chance to visit by accident so didn't had time much there but we parked next to Rose Garden. So nice, I love rose. The whole family had fun, so relaxing. Perfect place for the whole family to spend time together for picnic, walking around, biking, golfing and play tennis. So can't wait to go back and check out the restaurant and display garden

One of the beautiful parks in Vancouver. The most attractive spot I like here is a view point where we can view the whole city and mountain range. There are a lot of varieties of plants and are beautifully maintained. There is a restaurant inside the park which was crowded on my visit date. There is a small conservatory inside the park which we need to pay for entering For adutha it cost nearly 7 dollar and for kids nearly 4 dollar. Very big car parking facilities and a plenty of resting places. I didn't see these many resting place anywhere in other nearby parks.

Lovely walk in QE park during winter. Adds another pleasant and peaceful vibe with white snow covering the park compared to visiting here during other seasons. Highly recommended to visit during other seasons as well. It gives a totally different experience and lovely for a walk.

Beautiful park. It has many spots to enjoy a picnic, talk, coffee or walk—one of my favourite parks in Vancouver. The gardens are stunning in spring and summer, don't miss them.

I enjoyed the evening walk at this park. It was Spring time and the park was filled with early boomers and cherry blossoms. Such a lovely sight. A perfect place for picnic or a nice evening walk. Pet friendly areas for your fur friends and also the right place to enjoy a walk or jog.

This is a magical park with killer views. There is so much to see and do. It's even great if you just want to walk around. The eagles made the cost of parking worth it. The best views are near the restaurant, which you can't visit because you can't afford it. As always, bring a real camera.

Beautiful paths winding through pretty gardens. It reminded me of a mini Butchart Gardens. Well laid out. On the highway point there are places to sit and people watch. In the summer the fountain spray will keep you cool. It also has the best view ever of Vancouver and beyond to the Lions of the North shore.

The view from this park is great and it has a very nice garden inside as well. It is a nice place for a stroll or a run or to take the dog in the morning.

Walked from Downtown and it was worth the walk. The park is a lovely distraction from the City skyscrapers with large green areas, both cultivated and natural, sports fields and views. It's worth the walk just to get a picture of the City with a green border. Free to just walk or you can pay to visit the Conservatory (separate review posted). The gardens near the conservatory are beautifully tended and watch out for the hummingbirds. I love the fact that the mountains distance and direction are marked on the wall to view the City.

Beautifully manicured park, nice walking paths, great for a date. Didn't get to go to the conservatory since tickets sold out (buy ahead!). The missing star is for the view, didn't get as an amazing view of the city as I had hoped from reading other reviews before going, still very nice and worth checking out. You do have to pay for parking in the park.

What a lovely surprise to find this park during Vancouver's snowiest Christmas since 2008! Freezing cold and covered in snow with families enjoying sledging and magnificent distant views. A joy to spend some good time here

We like walking our dog to the dog park at Queen Elizabeth Park, especially on sunny days. Our dog is always happy, smiling, cannot stop wagging his tail whenever we bring him to the park, cause he knows he can run around on the grass, very spacious, and play with other dogs. The park is big and beautiful, a bit hilly at some parts, a lot of trees and flowers, including cherry blossoms in spring time. We celebrated our daughter's birthday in Seasons in the Park last year, a nice fine dining restaurant inside the park. It's nice because we live nearby about 10 minutes of walking, so whenever we need some fresh air or need to be in a spacious open place, we can always come to the park, just to sit under a big tree, picnic, nice place for reading, playing with dog, walking, cycling, jogging, breathing... 😊

It is the place to visit. Enjoy the conservatory of tropical plants, multiple gardens, small arcuate bridges, beautiful views to Vancouver City from the top of the town. There is a rose garden, picnic tables, restroom and other facilities. You can park your car on the nearby streets.

Beautiful walk. Lots of nice things to see and enjoy. The blodel conservatory has some amazing plants and always love to see beautiful birds. The love locks are super cool. And there is a locks dated from 1940's will you be able to find it??

Really nice park, gorgeous flowers in the summer and spring months especially. Great for picnicking and if you have never been to the Bloedel conservatory it is really nice for a quick visit. Lots of family photos, wedding photos and grad photos are taken here. Gorgeous view of Vancouver from up top.

Beautifully maintained park with a variety of plants and species. Clean and reasonably flat pathways. There are a few steps to climb in a few areas which may not be accessible for everyone. Wonderful lookout points of Vancouver city. The fountains are a refreshing stopping points to sit and have a break, the children will enjoy it here.

We visited on a sunny Sunday afternoon and the upper parking lot was almost full. Lots of people enjoying this beautiful park with any winding paths and viewpoints. Seasons in the Park restaurant is open with limited patio seating. There was an ice cream truck. The lilies haven’t bloomed yet but lots of other beautiful flours to enjoy. The conservatory was open but full for the day.

Many paths to explore, a duck pond, conservatory, statues, rose garden, restaurant, and a great view of Vancouver. Feels like a royal garden when in full bloom. Lots of picnic opportunities and mini golf / frolf courses to boot.

This was a beautiful park and the highlight of our trip to Vancouver! There are beautiful gardens and flowers everywhere, with really nice, clean, and well-maintained walkways. There are beautiful views of Vancouver near the center of the park and a lovely greenhouse botanical garden and exotic bird sanctuary as well. I highly recommend this park to anyone in the area!

Very good and peaceful location. Great fit as a picnic spot for family and friends. Fountain is really great for kids to enjoy. View is amazing from this site. Flowers used all around the place are so colourful and cheering. Place really gives warm and positive vibes. Must try walking barefoot in the grassy area, shade is great to sit around to enjoy the place. 💯💯

A MUST SEE if you're in the area. I come here around 3 times a week. There's a really beautiful restaurant in the park as well as a pretty biodome. But you don't need to spend any money to enjoy the park. Between the really lush gardens, the fruitful blackberry bushes in the late summer time, so many beautiful sitting areas, you'll be spoiled for choice! I personally come here to hang out with friends, have a beer and the drinking area, paint, see the mountains, exercise (running up that hill is a good way to get the heart moving), and anything in between.

In Fall, Queen Elizabeth Park, one of the best known parks in Vancouver, radiates warmth and passion from trees and bushes having turned golden or bright red! I just visited the park on October 22, 2020 and amazed at its beauty. Welcome to watch my video entitled “Autumn in October in QE Park” under my name “Cindy Amimer”.

Beautifully sculpted flower gardens - truly an oasis in the city. Grew up playing/rejuvenating here for over 50 years and still marvel at the variety of trees and plants. Excellent foresight to keep this park. Well used, as it should be. Waiting to see what's in that time capsule to be opened in 2054....

Beautiful view of a Vancouver Downtown and the surrounding mountains. The garden is beautiful in any season. The Bloedel conservatory inside the park is nice for kids. Don’t forget to check the roses garden at the back of the park. If you are in Vancouver in the spring, the cherry blossom there is gorgeous.

Best arrangement and variety of flowers.. Beats Botanical gardens in some places. Unique and varied topography. Hundreds of bees flying all over the flowers. Mason bees bumblebees and honeybees. Views of the North mountains and southern mountains. Can see mountain cap glacier from here

Great looking park with a fantastic view of the city and of the mountains! I went in September and the garden seemed poorly kept. Maybe it was just the wrong season but i was hoping for it to be a little for neat. Overall great look out and worth the look

I live right next to the park, so I go there a lot. It’s very close to King Edward/Oakridge 41st Canada line station. It has a restaurant called Seasons in the park, a query garden, a conservatory and many more things. To get into the conservatory there’s a fee. There is a nice viewpoint from where you can see the whole downtown. There’s a water fountain right next to the conservatory. At night it becomes colourful which is one of my favourite things to see in Queen Elizabeth Park. It’s a great place to do jogging or spend some time with your friends and family. A lot of people brings their pets with them too. It will take about 2-3 hours to walk around the whole park. It has a lot of parking spaces and public washrooms . Usually it gets busy on weekends.

Just like what can you say. Mother nature at her finest. Just gorgeous even in the winter. Rose garden is still beautiful even with no roses. A place to contemplate. Refresh and get in touch with Nature

It's an awesome park, the quarry gardens are pretty well kept and you get some nice views of the north shore and mountains. Just wish it was a little bit bigger. If I were to visit regularly and not take photos, I could probably walk around all areas within 20-40min depending on the pace. May sound just right for some, and certainly isn't too bad for a city park, but exploring a bit longer would be nice. Also there are streets with free parking, which is nice if you aren't keen on parking at the paid car park.

Park in the city within a short drive. Convenient and central location. Good for all ages and even dogs. Well maintained trails, landscapes, gardens, trees, flowers, fountains, rest areas, a big floral conservatory, nice sculptures, beautiful views of north shore mountains, and a great restaurant ideal for wedding receptions and banquets. Besides the scenery part there are a golf course and tennis courts for sporties too.

It's a nice park to play with kids and walk a circle around it. It is a bit hilly so keep that in mind if that's a concern for you. It is right beside a very busy road so you can hear cars the entire time. Not ideal for running, the path is asphalt the entire way.

Situated on one of the highest points in the city, this park has commanding views of the whole downtown, the mountains, surrounding cities all the way to the water. There is a victory garden which is extensive and beautiful in the summers when in full bloom but also serene and peaceful all through the year. There are many walking routes; including a secluded waterfall and rock bridge. The area is rife with places to take pictures for social media as well as more formal gatherings such as weddings. There is plenty of green space to sit for a picnic or throw the ball or just hang out with the family. On one side of the park is a huge set of recreation areas including extensive tennis courts and pickle ball courts as well as basketball courts and a dedicated ball hockey rink. There is parking throughout the park both on the street as well as in dedicated lots. You will find something for everyone including several duckponds where migratory birds like to hang out. (The park prefers if you don’t feed the ducks however.) On the other side of the park is a full disc golf course. And of course at the very top of the park is the restaurant, the seasons in the park again commanding sweeping views and a fine dining setting with both indoor and outdoor seating. The food here is amazing. There is a private room downstairs inside the wine cellar. The menu is always changing and fresh West Coast fare is served every day. The botanical gardens are also located here inside their geodesic dome. Overall, serene serene and tranquil location in the heart of the city, providing a unique perspective of Vancouver, one not to be missed.

There's outside and inside seating, beautiful setting right now with Christmas lights. A bit cold outside if your table isn't close to the fireplace. Inside tables are good distance apart with clear partitions. A safe place with a view of the city to enjoy dining out during COVID.

Big beautiful park with lots to do. There is a conservatory (admission fee), beautiful landscaped outdoor gardens with walking paths, a (fancy) restaurant with a gorgeous patio overlooking the city, a sculpture with benches (I think under construction currently as it is fenced off and I only saw one part but the map said 2 parts) public washrooms, free and paid parking available as well as maps. We forgot where we parked and staff was super helpful and recommended visiting in the summer to see the gardens in full glory.

Stunning park that’s dog friendly! 🐾Benches scattered throughout make it a gorgeous spot for a picnic. 🎍 Many paths also accessible. Worth the drive from Abbotsford

Such a beautiful place. It was not kind to my weak ankles, but there were so many spots to rest and relax that I highly recommend this park for little family/friend outings :’) I stopped by the conservatory and was a little surprised by how small it was—took maybe 3 minutes to walk through the whole thing, barring my stops to look at birds. Worth dropping in if you’ve never been!

So beautiful! Very nice place to walk around and enjoy all the greenery and flowers. However, one suggestion would be to make it just a little bit more accessible for people with walkers. It was difficult to find a paved path for my aunt to walk up - she had to climb a bunch of stairs while holding on to me, and my husband carried her walker. Other than that, the Queen Elizabeth Garden is gorgeous and beautifully maintained. The restaurant, Seasons in the Park, has pretty good food, great service, and an awesome view! President Clinton met with Boris Yeltsin there many years ago; but go there for the food and the view.😉

Love this place. The conservatory is excellent and only $7, beautiful park, lots of shade in a sunny day, parking is plentiful but a little hard to find, great place to spend the afternoon admiring the flora and fauna

Lovely place and must visit if you are in Vancouver. If you want to take some rest just go there and sleep under the sun on the Lovely green grass grounds and relax. This is what we did after finishing our exams. You cab bring your own food and spend time with your loved ones like for small picnic.

Queen Elizabeth Park is a must see place to enjoy. The gardens are a symphony of color. The terrarium with exotic birds and tropical plants makes one feel that they are on vacation in a far off land.

Lots of stairs, lots of cool plants. Stay off the grass, it is recovering from something and is a bit fragile, the trails are enough. Oh yeah and keep your eyes peeled for the hummingbirds!

Beautiful day at this gem in the heart of Vancouver. Our Mexican relatives loved how peaceful and well-maintained this gorgeous park was! Wonderful place for a peaceful walk, picnic, or simply to enjoy nature. A must-see when in Vancouver!
