Ghostly Vancouver’s tour of Gastown is a lot of fun. My partner and I recently did the tour during a trip up from Portland. Lydia, the owner of GVT and our tour guide, is engaging, has a great sense of humor and is incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Vancouver. Her passion for ghosts, hauntings, and all things related to the paranormal really shines in her delivery. I was entrusted with the ghost detector/EMF reader which made the experience even more fun. Yes, the EMF reader did pick up possible signs of ghost activity during our tour. Overall, the tour was great! While I myself believe in ghosts, I believe the tour has something for believers and non-believers alike! We definitely plan to do Ghostly Vancouver’s West End Tour when we head up to Vancouver for our next visit!

I did the New Westminster tour, during Halloween, with a few friends and I really enjoyed it. The tour contains a lot of history about the city, as well as ghost stories. Our guide, Stephanie, was very good, and she was very funny as well. The tour was exciting and in one word, amazing. I would definitely like to go on more of their tours. Great Job!

Had such a wonderful experience doing both the New West and Gastown Tour. The guides (I had Lisa and then Stephanie as my guide) are extremely knowledgeable and personable. They are truly amazing storytellers and keep you entertained throughout the entire tour. I especially appreciated the various fun historical facts that were sprinkled in randomly by the guides, as it showed 1) that they aren’t just reading off of a script and 2) that they’re passionate about what they do. I highly recommend this tour!

Awesome way to spend a Saturday night! Had a great tour put on Lydia, who was awesome and very knowledgeable about not only haunted Vancouver history, but the history of Gastown as well. The tour is just the right length and takes you right back to Waterfront Station where it began. My only issue is that I am now aware of the haunted significance behind finding dimes, and upon finding one on my 7th floor balcony when I got home from the tour, I am now genuinely spooked!

Loved the Gastown tour with Anwar! The 90 minutes flew by. Very entertaining and educational... perfect level of creepiness for me. Really enjoyed learning about the history of the area. Will definitely be checking out the additional tours in the entertainment district and/or New Westminster.

Excellent tour and very informative . There can be mediums on these tours we had one on our tour she also did our readings and was connected with spirits throughout the tour . Its a lot of walking wear comfy shoes

Our guide was amazing! She embodied the character she played and really made us believe she was telling us stories from her past. Highly recommend!

A group of friends and I went and took the Gastown Ghost Tour with tour guide Lydia yesterday and we had a fantastic time. The tour is a wonderful mix of spooky stories and genuine Gastown history, and our guide made it a comfortable place for ghost skeptics and believers alike to join in and have fun. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a fun way to spend an evening!

Our guide was awesome, very knowledgeable of Vancouver's history and always had a haunting twist. Very fun night and great way to start the spooky season.

Good but but better to go when its darker. Not as great in summer season. The story teller was good. Stories were not as scary as I thought. Walk was nice through Gas town

Was easy to find the location to meet. Found that our guide was very pleasant to be around and knew their information. Happy to have gone on this tour versus a different one with a different tour provider as I did not want to have theatrics one this types of stories. Very interested in the stories and history of some of the architectural buildings that we passed by.

The combination of the history and ghost stories make for a fascinating tour of Gastown. The storyteller was amazing. She paid attention to each of us, and got us involved in the stories. I've never been a believer in ghosts but I don't know now. Maybe.

I had a great time on this walking tour! Stephanie was an amazing tour guide with a lot of energy and passion for the paranormal activities. I learned a lot about Gastown and its dark(er) history as well as the ghost sighting stories. The hour and a half went by so fast. I liked Stephanie's artificial skull that earned our group quite a few surprised looks from the passers by! The tour is definitely unique way how to experience Vancouver!

What an absolutely fantastic way to spend a summer evening in Vancouver. I took myself, my 14 year old daughter and her friend this evening. Our tour guide Lydia was absolutely fantastic, very knowledgeable and made our tour absolutely fly by. Full of great stories and facts about the seedy happenings of Gastown, its history and its residents...some of which are still there. Perfect balance of informative and creepy. Highly reccomended by me! Thank you again Lydia!

I had a little vacation in B.C a few weeks back, and a ghost tour was exactly what I needed to end my trip. I emailed to book an appointment for a Friday night private tour. Lydia, the tour guide responded and I was able to reserve a spot. That Friday evening I was a little bit late (due to traffic and not knowing the area-first time in the province) but Lydia was very patient and understanding. The tour itself was in Gas Town, and it was the perfect drizzly rainy night for it! We wore masks for it but I was still able to hear Lydia. She was fantastic! Very kind, and very good and telling the stories associated with the tour. I am very glad I had the chance to experience this, and look forward to returning for another tour when the provinces reopen! Thank you Lydia!

We had so much fun on this tour on Halloween! Our host, Ryan, was awesome— he was so funny and informative. I am going to go on all of the tours that I can with this company!
