Pizza was too dry. Nachos has smal potion of cheese. Mac&cheese was so so I'll not going back again for sure.

I'm so glad we popped in this hot summer evening. What a huge selection of drinks on tap. I had 2 light on the moon lagers and my friend tried the cider on tap. I'm awful with names. Our server was memorable though. Cheery, polite, and informative!! Just what we like. His name was MAX...😀 We also had the salt and pepper wing. A little small but delicious non the less. We will be back very soon.

I get it, this place is know for beer. They had a few cocktail options, some were on tap (muddlers, no thanks) they other were some classics, so I ordered a Negroni, buuuut turns out they had no Campari so I just got an old fashioned. It was decent, had 3 maraschino cherries so it tasted like cherries. The food was decent, lacking salt and maybe need to reconsider playing options as my stuff was overflowing out of the lopsided bowl

Awesome beer and amazing service. Joshua especially stood out, he was super friendly and personable. Next time I'm in the city I am definitely returning. He put forth the effort to make my experience here much better than I expected. The rest of the serving and bussing staff were obviously working very hard too. Great night, great service.

St. Augustine's is great!. The food was awesome. We ordered the Sicilian and Mushroom pizzas and they were very good. They have an extensive collection of beers and ciders along with some popular cocktails. Prices are also quite nice. They have this feature on their website which tells you how many percent is left of a certain drink. It's pretty nifty. Overall, a good experience.

Service here is fantastic and always friendly. I used to visit this place on the regular working just a few blocks up from 2018-2020. I have to say the food has become “passable” at best. I ordered the burger and it was thinner than the ones you get at a high school fundraiser (the poutine side was good and was the saving grace.) For $17.50 I expect a decent patty that isn’t as stretched thin as my millennial budget. I am disappointed by the portion but I understand that rising food costs are a problem. Not sure if I’ll return for food but the beer selection is great.

I've only gone around mid afternoon a couple times but I've had the starter rockfish tacos and they were delicious. The service has always been kind and fun, always great interactions. Depending on where you sit, the music can be a little to loud but I really enjoy this place to just sit and chat with friends.

Nice spot to catch up with friends after a movie at the Rio Theatre for VIFF. Good number of tvs to catch the Canucks game. Pretty bright, long tables if you’re going with a large group for an informal kind of gathering which is appreciated! Keeps things simple

Everything about this place is enjoyable. Great variety in the tap list. Food is exceptional in quality, plate presentation, and taste. Service is speedy, the staff happy and helpful 👍 The calamari and the fried Brussel sprouts were outstanding

Always bumpin' here but the wait for a table isn't usually long because there's so much space. The service is fast and friendly (they have a lot of servers!). There's a broad selection of beers to choose from. Though we mostly come for drinks and dessert, the food here is good too. Pictured is the warm sticky toffee cake with vanilla ice cream. Served beautifully, delightfully layered, and so so moist.

I didn't have much food here, but the stuff I did try was great. I wish they had a few more cocktails on the menu, it was very limited. I also wishes they put new kegs on. All of the beer we wanted to try was out, we were there for two hours and still they werent changed

I have been visiting St. Augustine's since 2015! This is a great establishment with a vast variety of beers and tasty food. The service can be hit or miss, last time I was there, I waited 20 minutes after being seated to even be offered a drink.

Classic Commercial drive spot. Good food (mac and cheese croquettes are great), great selection of local beers, and such a fantastic location. A wonderful place for a quick meet or a long stay. Staff is always kind and professional.

Sadly has gone downhill. Used to be the best nachos in Vancouver, now there’s hardly any cheese on them, you have to pay to add guacamole (used to be included and drizzled all over the nachos instead of in a pile in the middle), and they give you a smaller amount. They were truly amazing, had generous and multiple toppings on top AND on the layers below. They maintain an extensive and rotating beer selection. Used to come here regularly but no longer enjoy the food unfortunately.

Large selection of beers and decent food. The staff were friendly and quick to get our orders. The atmosphere inside is lively with music and lots of other conversations going on. It can be tricky hearing others at your table due to the noise, but outside is quieter... or a different kind of noise I guess.

The place was a staple, declined for some time, and now seems to have stabilized quality-control and standards again. That said, the new prices do make me go less frequently. But if this is what it takes to maintain consistency in Vancouver, I can only respect it and visit a little less frequently. Great selection of beers -- albeit most of the options are now local due to partnerships.

The nachos are a must and the beer selection is phenomenal! This is our go-to place for awesome and adventurous flights.

This review is based at the PUB level. The selection of beers is actually quite awesome. I enjoyed the beer there, and drinks. If I had to review based on drinks only, then it would be a good 4/5 stars. The ambiance level is also nice. Lot of tables and good for big groups. I would recommend. The staff is nice, fast. It's also very clean! But i'll remove one star for the foods. Depends on the items you are getting. I wouldn't go with anything related to brunch, but Pizzas, burgers are classic. The brunch items were quite oily. It was just not eatable. Overall, the experience was positive. Go for a drink and you will be satisfied!

It can get a lil' humid inside on a warm eventide, so patio up if available. Notwithstanding, Funtastic liquid libations and snack sensations. Mac&cheese croquettes hit the spot.

This is the type of bar I'm more used to. Having multiple TVs with different kinds of sports just sits right with me. If that's your type of vibe, this place is a great option (especially considering how close it's to the Skytrain station on Commercial). They have a nice selection of beers. They also have cocktails but didn't try any. I went there for the beer. Food choices are what you would expect from this type of bar: burgers, fish and chips, sandwiches, and the sort. Here lies the reason why it's not a 5 star review. I ordered the St. Augustine's Burger and the patty was overcooked and even somewhat burnt. I could have told the waitress about it, but I honestly was so hungry that I ate it... I mean, it's not like it was inedible, but yeah. The only thing I can say about the staff is that they are very kind and always on the lookout in case you might need something else. The establishment is very clean, and that includes the washroom. Overall, it was a really nice experience and I was able to both have a nice chat with my friend and also watch some NFL matches.

Enjoyed my meal here... the portion of fries we got was rather small, but they were really memorable! Tons of beer and cider selections, service was great, and I enjoyed the chicken sandwich.

This place serves the best veggie burger I've ever had. I'm not even vegetarian, but I start thinking about that yam, quinoa, and chickpea patty days before each visit. I also love that they still have a really long beer list, even while other places such as Rogue are cutting back to a much smaller selection. There are always enough interesting options to justify at least one tasting flight, and sometimes two. Always great service as well - our waiter last night went above and beyond to make sure we had a good view of the Canucks game.

Huge beer selection and most of it's quite good. Downside is you'll get the odd flat or skunky one, I guess because some of it doesn't move as quickly as the rest, but the servers are generally quite helpful if you ask for suggestions. Pizza's gotten a lot better as well.

I like this place, go quite often for lunch. Food is pretty good and consistent, wait service are quick and friendly. My only complaint when it's busy it's very loud and hard to have a conversation, that is why I usually go for lunch after the rush.
