I am completely happy with my visits to Point Grey Vet Hospital. Communication is what was been lacking with my previous vet, and that was the reason I looked for a new vet with our new puppy Lexi. Everyone we have seen so far at your clinic has been wonderful - so good at walking us through everything and explaining everything. So much so that when they ask if I have any further questions, I don’t have any! Very grateful to have found your clinic 🐾🐾

My wife and I are new dog parents and took our puppy, Rizzo, for vaccines and a consultation at Point Grey Veterinary Hospital today. We did not have much knowledge on care or what to look out for, and Dr. Rebecca Burke and her team took care of Rizzo incredibly well. We were greeted by the amazing staff and front desk immediately and made us feel very comfortable. Dr. Burke spent a lot of time with Rizzo just to make him comfortable before he got out of his kennel. We really appreciated her patience and sharing knowledge with us. Most importantly, she was so gentle in giving vaccination to Rizzo. I would HIGHLY recommend going to this clinic and even if I didn’t live so close, would travel just to come back. Very happy new dog parents! Thank you team!

Before we got our puppy in October we did a lot of research in order to find the absolute best possible vet in Vancouver. This research lead us to choose Point Grey Veterinary Hospital. I simply can't say enough great things about them! Every appointment we have had with them has been amazing. They are knowledgeable, professional and friendly. As a first time dog owner I especially appreciate all the guidance and advice they have provided to us to ensure that Humphrey has the best possible health and happiness. Since I have no prior knowledge or experience myself, I really rely on them. My dog loves his visits and is always greeted so warmly by all the staff. Anyone looking for a vet should definitely go to Point Grey Veterinary Hospital!

I am very happy with the care my two dogs receive at Point Grey Vet. The staff are communicative, caring, and approachable, and always try to incorporate my input about how my dogs will respond best to treatment. Plus, they act quickly, if they can (one needed stitches and he was seen right away), and they treat my dogs very well.

Very good staff here! My dog is very nervous but everyone was so patient with her and gave her the time to settle, meaning getting her vaccines was seamless. Everyone was very knowledgeable and gave lots of tips and tricks as well as answering all my questions! Would highly recommend

Hands down the best veterinary service in this whole part of Vancouver. If they're at all in reasonable travel distance to you, then you should take your pets here. I'm always impressed with the service and loving care they provide, and I usually leave feeling surprised at how reasonable the bill was. Boris approves.

There’s lots to unpack here, but let me start off by mentioning their misleading business practices. Within my first invoice, I noticed a discrepancy of almost $250: - I was double-charged for three different items - I had prescription food added to my invoice, even though I’d mentioned I needed more information. I’d already paid, and was given the breakdown after the fact, and I had to ask for a refund. They didn’t apologize even once. Once the refund was being worked on, they were still cutting me short of around $60 and I had to keep re-confirming the charges until I finally had the refund processed. This isn’t the type of service you expect at a reputable vet clinic, especially when you’ve just spent $700 on two cat visits and some additional services. Now, on to the other important part. We brought our cats here for the first time to get their annual check-up and vaccinations. My previous vet had already sent over their previous records, yet when I first got there, they said my cats weren’t due for any vaccinations. I had to pull up the records and tell them they are due for rabies, even though the same records were shared with the clinic. I had some concerns that I needed addressed with one of my cats, and instead of asking questions and trying to help resolve, I was given a laundry list of other tests I should run with the caveat that they might be inconclusive yet I’d still have to pay. It didn’t feel like the vet or the technicians cared about my cats’ health, and more about how many more tests they could run or procedures they could bring them into. In the end, they got their vaccines and a laundry list of tests, with no solutions or diagnoses. I was excited to come here after the great reviews, but they don’t seem to care about your pets, only the dollars and cents. They would’ve gotten away with significantly over-charging me if we hadn’t noticed. Plus, I called them to ask where their office was located while I was in the heat with both kitties and receptionists were nowhere close to helpful.

Been to Point Grey Veterinary Hospital for many years and with two generations of cats. The service has always been excellent. The vets, the technicians and receptionists are courteous and very caring of our pets. High recommend this place for your family pet.

My little Bandit is so scared and "on guard" with a hand approaching, and to have found a doctor and staff who understands will be a huge relief for me going forward with this dog. I wouldn't have been to keep him otherwise. Clinic is very engaged in supporting you in your pet's "wellness journey." Dealing with my shelter dog without five years of history and my tiny runt of a chihuahua puppy, they were informative about pros and cons of procedures and made it very easy for me to make decisions on their care... They have a large competent staff and it's easy to book appointments in a timely manner. Very kind people here :)

This is the loveliest vet in the world. They always take the time to make my dog feel as comfortable as possible, and I never feel like they’re rushing us. Everyone there is also very compassionate and caring and I feel like they do know and care about my dog and her wellbeing.

The team west point ver is FANTASTIC 🤩 and they are seriously fear free! I brought in my very anxious 1-year-old bernedoodle, Bandit, for her yearly check and vaccination. Dr. Robinson and her assistant, Maria were experienced, knowledgeable and beyond patient. They observed and troubleshooted to comfort Bandit and giver her the best experience possible. The were not in a hurry and took their time to provide advice. I am so grateful for this team!

Second time taking my dogs here and both times disappointed! On our last visit the dogs were having a check up and annual booster each. What should have been an hour’s appointment actually only took 30mins and kept us waiting!The vet told me there were more vaccines that the dogs needed but I declined and asked just for there boosters. $400 later (more than I was told on the phone) I checked my receipt when I got home to find they actually had given the dogs 2 vaccines in 1!!! Not happy as my 1 dog was poorly that evening 😡 will not be returning to this vets!!!!

Visited for the first time yesterday and I've been very pleased with the level of care and professionality of all employees I've interacted with. From Violet at the front desk, to Maria assisting the veterinarian and Dr. Castro herself, all exhibited an extremely high level of skill at what they do. It's evident that they genuinely care for animals and I felt totally safe having my puppy in their care. Will be returning here for all my veterinary needs.

From the front of house, to the back room, all the staff are amazing, thoughtful, and compassionate. Mar and Ily enjoy their visits and sampling all the treats.

Dr. Burke and the staff were lovely and friendly! I took my puppy, Stella here for her second round of vaccinations and Dr. Burke was very knowledgable. She told me a lot of information about vaccines and answered my questions thoroughly. They also gave me a puppy pack with a lot of information for dogs and pet insurance. Which was great because the other vets I have visited never provided that. The next day they followed up with me about how Stella was feeling and informed me to email or call them back with any other questions or concerns I had. I definitely trust the staff with Stella. Overall the service and staff were great and helpful! I recommend going to this vet.

The staff here are always so loving, kind, sweet, and they give the BEST treats ever. ♥️ I used to be super nervous about going but everyone that works there genuinely loves what they do and you can tell by the consistency of the amazing service every time. I used to have so much anxiety about vet appointments but point grey vet makes me feel right at home always… and all the yummy treats and cuddles! Home away from home. 10/10 recommend!
