It was a really fun night. I laughed a lot. I used to go to Theatre Sports a lot like 20 years or more ago. We would all drive from Richmond. I was thrilled to go back and the cast was very talented. They serve drinks, including coffee, before hand and have a nice private patio to enjoy also. Some snacks too. Bring good ideas and shout them out, sit back and laugh. GREAT TIME. Nice for a night out with friends or a fun date.

We absolutely love going to improve but Back to the Holiday was an absolute disappointment I am so sorry that It ended up this way. There is not a lot of interaction with the audience and really not a lot of fun moments. An unfortunate loss.

I saw the December 23rd, Back to the Holiday Show with my wife and parents at 7.30pm. Jon. R nailed it in a previous review, it was a tragic show. we all love comedy and came ready to laugh but this was comically unfunny. It was like watching 6 Michael Scott's trying to do stand-up comedy in the show "The Office". It's Christmas morning and we're all still laughing about how bad it was, so I guess it was entertaining in that regard. maybe we were at the kids show... please advise.?

Have been 4x in the last year and the shows were fantastic and absolutely hilarious! We go to theatreSports on Fri & Sat nights 930pm . It was not too raunchy or anything which we were happy about. Pg-13 I'd say. Highly recommend for a fun evening out with friends. So entertaining and interactive! I love how they acknowledge special occasions and work it in to the show as well. Can't wait to come back again!!

I always love coming here for a night out with good laughs. I have never been disappointed. The performers are quick on their feet, making for a great show. Not to mention their excellent service. Family style feel - very warm and welcoming. A shout out to Frank at box office for helping me when I cannot figure out technology! They were so friendly and very helpful with all my questions about seating, involvement, and what to expect.

Came here for the Lab on a Thursday night and it was a blast. We had a lot of fun, the show was well organized, the improv games were entertaining to watch, and the cast was talented and experienced. A 10/10 night. Every cast member should have won. This made be almost glad that Air Canada had cancelled my flight, forcing my to spend an extra night in town. Otherwise, I would have missed out.

I couldn't be happier with The Improv Centre and the shows they put on. I have been a few times now and each time I went it was such a fun night out and a real feel good time. The staff are so friendly, the scenes are hilarious, and everyone in the audience is having a great time together. I was also so impressed with their generosity and kindness. I went tonight for a special occasion and they went out of their way to make it even more special and memorable with a scene from the stage. Huge thank you! Looking forward to the next night there!

So much fun. Hit the keg across the road for dinner, and then back to back comedy. A great night, and fairly inexpensive. If you have a disability, they offer a table for no extra charge.

I took my 11-year old to one of the PG shows. It was great for all ages with a few "adult" references that went over his head. It was a fantastic experience and the best value "outing" we had during a five-day trip to Vancouver. You can leave yourself an hour or two before the doors open to tour the Granville Market or eat dinner. The venue just has drinks and a few snacks.

Highly recommend doing their workshop for an event! We had the greatest time with Alan! He was funny, we felt he knew our level of comfort in terms of acting and the activities he provided were fun & will be one we’ll always remember!

Great improv comedy place to come and enjoy some drinks, some bar snacks(popcorn, gummy bears, nuts, etc), and of course be entertained for the evening. I attended a number of shows in the last few weeks and none failed to make me laugh, some jokes fall more flat or things don't go so well, but perfection doesn't exist. Shout out to not just the performers for making things amazing but the people working behind the scenes for sound, lighting, and of course the bartenders, and also the "bouncers" at the doors, y'all do a great job here!

Went to see the show today for the first time after hearing amazing things about it. They aren't wrong, the performers were hilarious. Every skit they did was a total banger. I was laughing my guts out all the time. Would highly recommend going for a fun time. P.S. photography/video is not allowed inside the theatre πŸ™‚πŸ‘

First time at an improv show, went for Wednesday "date night" theme. It was hilarious!!! Definitely going to come back again. Have been telling all my friends to go. Make sure you go early to enjoy a drink on the patio.

What a great show! A lot of new performers and this latest show was probably the best yet. Only complaint is the seating at the front tables is so cramped. With Covid still around, it would be nice to have a bit more space from the stranger beside you.

I've probably been to the Improv Centre on Granville Island 5 or 6 times and I love it! They have snacks and they're licensed, so you can enjoy some popcorn and drinks with your show. Go with friends, family, visitors from out of town - anybody who wants to have some laughs! It's a great way to finish off a day in Vancouver. Little tip: the late shows are more suited for adults lol

Discovered "The Improv Centre" on the Granville Island's website under things to do on a rainy day. Went to "Date Night" on Wednesday and had so much fun that we returned for "Theatresports" on Friday. Great for an evening out. Lots of laughs! Very skilled performers. Perfect thing to do after exploring Granville Island during the day.

Came for the first time yesterday and it was an amazing experience. For 15 bucks, it was extremely worth it. Super easy check-in process, nice waiting area, nice stage/theatre. Actors were funny and entertaining. Happy hour drinks priced reasonably, snacks and drinks available too. Staff were happy and nice. Will definitely come back again. It was an amazing experience for my first time at an improv event

Come see some fantastic no frills improv! There's a small bar in the lobby where you can pregame or have a refreshment during intermission too. The acting is amazing and fun, friendly crew and cast members. Fun activity for a couple or even a very small group for some good old fashioned laughs.

Had a great night out at the Improv Centre. We booked a table of four for a couple visiting from out of town and ourselves and we were in stitches all night - super fun, enjoyed wine while we laughed! The great thing with improv is that it is never the same, so we can't wait to go again!

Have been here a lot over the years, but not since COVID. Glad to make it back last night (Wednesday). Great night ! The improv was great as always! Looking forward to coming back here regularly.

Altho I am not a expert to rate improv shows. I do have to say that I have had a blast every time. I recommend 100% welcoming environment. Great prices. A few bars to get your drinks and snacks. The audience engagement is also great!

Spent last evening here with our family of six, this was part of how we celebrated my retirement. It was a surpise for me, and improv centre...you never let us down! Tears of laughter came down while still delivering an exceptional message! You are ALL so talented!! Loved our evening with you and with my beautiful family of six! πŸ’• Thank you!!

Absolutely perfect date night or night out with friends. It was the highlight of our trip to Vancouver, hands down. I went with my husband and a friend and we were all laughing so hard we were crying. Worth every penny. Can't wait to come back on our next trip there!
