Super friendly, relaxed, informative owners who gave us excellent service! The interior is fun and colourful and the patio was perfect for the sunny day. The hotdogs were really tasty, had inventive flavours and even better that they're cruelty free and better for the environment! The cocktail and smoothie were both delicious and I'll be coming back to try the others! It'd be great if the menu was slightly more extensive with a few more sides options, but what was offered was top quality. Overall a great experience, would recommend checking them out!

Amazing plant based restaurant with unique indoor design and offering really unique take on plant based hot dogs like you never imagined. Great selection of several options , each one different and delicious, making you want another one. Good choice of some healthy salads too. Any recommended enough! Coffee was one of the best in town and service super friendly ensuring you get everything you need.

Let me tell you about the incredible time we had at Good Dog Restaurant! It was absolutely amazing from start to finish. We tried some of their signature dishes, including the Sticky Mushroom, Seitan Hot Dog, and Thot Hot Dog, and each one was a flavor explosion! First, let's talk about the Sticky Mushroom. It had this perfect spicy kick that just hit the spot. Seriously, it was like Korean chicken wings but in mushroom form. The flavors were so well-balanced, and every bite left us wanting more. If you're into bold, zesty flavors, you have to give this a try! Now, onto the hot dogs. The Seitan Hot Dog was an absolute delight. The seitan had that deliciously chewy texture and was packed with savory goodness. And let's not forget the Thot Hot Dog—it was like a flavor party in my mouth! The combination of toppings and condiments was out of this world. Each bite was a taste explosion that left us grinning from ear to ear. One of the things that made our experience even better was that it wasn't too busy when we visited on a Tuesday. That meant the staff had the time to give us their full attention, making us feel extra special. The service was friendly, attentive, and just overall fantastic. Good Dog Restaurant is the perfect spot for a casual dinner, some quality "me time," or a hangout with friends. The atmosphere is laid-back and inviting, making it the ideal place to relax and enjoy good food in good company. In summary, I can't recommend Good Dog Restaurant enough. Really out of this world plant based / vegan food! The hotdog was probably the best I’ve ever had (including meat ones). The wings were also just… wow. Perfectly cooked. And the decor/ambiance was great, and the owners are super nice people. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Amazing food, even better service! I’m visiting from Toronto and I only wish I came here sooner in my trip, the Dogs were incredible! We picked up three of them, and I was stuffed halfway through my first!! I can’t fathom how kind the owner was when my boyfriend and I got there, they were kind enough to give us the low-down and on all the best vegan eats in the city of Vancouver. I can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu! As well as chat with the owner a little more. Cannot recommend this amazing, all vegan restaurant enough.

It was my first experience at a vegan restaurant, and it was fantastic! I got the "Steak" n Cheese Sando and wow.. I would not have known that it wasn't an actual steak (no, I am not vegan). Excellent customer service, no judgment and friendly atmosphere! Definitely want to come back when time allows, highly recommended!

Incredible hot dogs with the best flavor combinations you’ve never considered. I’m not usually a hot dog person but I’m dreamy about these. Staff is incredible and the vibe is very welcoming. Poutine was delicious and all the hot dogs we tried were wonderful. Note that the Hawt Dog is indeed super spicy!

The decor in this place is beautiful! The owner took so much care when bringing this place to life. The food was incredible! As a meat eater, I honestly couldn’t tell the difference between this plant based hot dog and a meat one. I would 100% recommend! Also, get the dessert! Totally worth the calories!

Literally the best oyster mushrooms I’ve had in my entire life. The hot dogs were delicious, and so were the toppings! I’ll definitely be going back. I wish I took pictures of the inside cause the restaurant itself was super cool, loved the vibe. The walls are beautifully painted and even the cups and cutlery are fun

The Sticky Mushrooms are thoroughly amazing! They’re so crispy and flavorful! They are a bit spicy (probably a 2 or 3 out of 5), but if you like some heat, you can’t go wrong with them. The poutine is also ridiculously good and our go-to favorite. Love that everything is vegan!

Great vegan restaurant. Staff were really friendly. Food was served fast. We had sticky mushroom to start and this was AMAZING the sauce was really good. The hotdogs were also very good with a great range of topping flavours. A very unique restaurant which is a vegans dream!!!

A place where it’s difficult to be anything but joyful. The colorful vibes and atmosphere was just uplifting. This is a place where the colors showed up on the plate and through the flavors in my mouth. The sticky mushroom was yummy and the star of the food was color and flavors. My body is not used to so much friend food and hot dogs so it took a lot from my body to process later in the evening. However, go there with joy and an empty stomach for a day you need a lot of energy.

I really enjoyed my visit to this little restaurant. When I walked into this place, the first thing I noticed was that it felt like the staff and owner really cared for the restaurant. The decor was on point, and it felt like I was on vacation in my own city. It had a very cool vibe. The food was amazing worth the visit. I really enjoyed my dog and poutine. The only thing I regret is not getting desert.

Went with my husband, we decided to pop in to try their “hotdogs”. The food was delicious, no complaints other than I wish I had room for more. The staff was very friendly and the vibe was very hip. We sat beside a family who didn’t finish their meal, an entire plate was discarded…I don’t know if the staff offered a takeaway box, but definitely something to consider (I got one for my leftovers)! The food was artistry! The kimchi fries are a must!

Dropped in based on Google reviews. Interesting selection of vegan hotdogs, went for the Seoul, which was great. Interesting combination of flavours, good quality bread, and decent vegan sausage. Even my non-vegan partner would highly recommend it. Did lose its integrity towards the end, resulting in a deconstructed hotdog 😅 would go back when next I'm in Vancouver. Vibe of the place is interesting, very psychedelic. Clearly like their shrooms 😆

Delicious plant base hotdogs with hand cut fries....and very tasty sauce. The atmosphere is also very cool and fun and the staff are very friendly as well. We got the Seoul and it was so crunchy and tasty. I'm not vegan but it was for sure tasty.

Meat eaters will be satisfied! Phenomenal food. The Day Trip may be the best hot dog (meat or meatless) I've ever had, and Rachel's service and hospitality were second-to-none. I will be back regularly, and I am very much a carnivore on most days. You need to try this place.

Absolutely delicious plant based food! I love their food and whenever I visit Vancouver, it's always on the top of my list of places to go to! The owners are friendly and have seen them put in an effort to make sure people have a good time. I also like their website which shows the food pictures and ingredients when you scan the menu. Highly recommend the place for Vegans and Vegetarians and also encourage meat eaters to give it a try!

I dropped by Good Dogs Plant Foods and used a coupon from my plant based deals book to get some food for takeout. The lady serving me was extremely friendly and helpful. I ordered a Poutine and a Ball Park Dog. Wish I could say the Poutine was good but in all honesty, it really didn't make the grade. The gravy was so thick that I had to shake the container in order for the gravy to fall out and onto the fries. Also, regular poutine comes with cheese curds. This poutine came with cheese shreds that didn't melt so there was no ooey gooey factor. The Ball Park Dog on the other hand was incredible! Their dogs really are good! Well, the place is called Good Dogs Plant Foods so plant based hot dogs are their specialty. I stopped eating meat sometime in 2019  so it's been years since I've eaten a hot dog. This was my first time eating a plant based hot dog and I was super impressed with it. Even our picky eater tried it and loved it! The restaurant has such a funky design to it too. There are all sorts of whimsical items adorning the place, and they had TV monitors with some trippy patterns displayed on them. It looked like such a fun place to be and I would definitely like to dine in the next time we go to that restaurant. I got to try one of the dogs from the place as they had their food truck at the Planted Expo in Vancouver. The service was exceptional... the staff were so wonderful and kept their wonderful spirits throughout the day no matter how busy they got. The food? Amazing! It was definitely worth the long wait. Up until a few months ago, vegan food wasn't really a thing I would lean towards. Now, I'm absolutely loving the lifestyle and the food here is just the cherry on top. If you ever get to try this place, do not hesitate. just TRY IT! I can’t wait to go back and try their physical location.

Had to pop into this place before I got the ferry back home! It’s so nice to have a fully plant based hot dog restaurant! This tasted exactly like a sausage but even better because it was packed with flavour and the presentation is outstanding! This didn’t last too long especially after a long drive! The restaurant had a welcoming and unique environment and the staff were lovely! I would definitely recommend!

My favourite vegan hotdoggery in Vancouver. I love the aesthetic and the staff and the food. The hot dogs get a bit messy, but I like that. Amazing iridescent utensils. Warning: I do not recommend the ice cream sandwich. The filling had a sort of sourness like that in cheesecake, and the cookie was dry and a chore to eat. The hot dogs and fries were amazing though.

I didn't know what to expect from a hot dog place, but it honestly blew me away. So many great flavour combinations in their food and drinks. They have such great attention to detail and they are constantly developing their menu to provide you with the best experience they can. Everything I have tried here has been amazing. Also worth mentioning that the staff and owner are incredible open and friendly. Always happy to help you find the best option for you.

I’ve been to this groovy little restaurant a handful of times now. The service is nothing short of phenomenal. It seems like everyone who works there is eager and excited to be a part of the team, which makes for an extremely inviting atmosphere! Stuey is always an absolute treasure of a person, so it’s lovely the be greeted with his kind energy upon arrival. Love to see it. And don’t even get me started on the food and drinks. An absolute DREAM. On the weekends they’ve begun doing a brunch menu starting at 10, being served until 2. Holy heck, sooo many good options packed into one space. I absolutely adore the Hummus Where the Heart Is hash bowl, and the Rosti me baby. Honestly two really good ways the starch your day…. ;) Speaking of good ways the start your day, yesterday I went in and was greeted by Rachel, one of the owners, who is astonishing and lovely and sweet, only to be given the best coffee and hotdog of me entire life. A nice toasty oat milk cappuccino and the sizzly little wiener called The Ball park. I was feeling pretty hungry so I like that I was able to get a side of poutine with my dawg, just the kind of comprise I’m looking for. Also yeeehaw, that poutine was a party. The way the flavours of the food interact with one another, made me feel like my mouth was on a date with my heart. There is so much love put into the food, and you can really taste that. Plus the chef Kenz is a plant based heart throb so that’s nice. Heck they even have desserts. Like this sweet treat little peanut butter and jam ice cream sammy. But I heard it was a feature, meaning I’ll be back for more!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND 🌭

WOW!!! This place is exactly what Van needs- absolutely INCREDIBLE fresh, local, delicious, vegan food. The drinks were so amazing and it was all reasonably priced! I will be a regular at this place an dI don’t say that a lot. Rachel our server took SUCH good care of us and the chef Nick was so lovely and we were absolutely blown away by everything. Great vibe, beautiful aesthetic, cutest glass wear and cutlery. Can’t say enough about this place just GO
