    I occasionally go to the other downtown location, but the Robson st. is by far my favourite of the two. The store is spacious and well-lit with natural light, the sale consultants are more than helpful and very friendly, and the selection of products is excellent. I love being able to try products before I buy them, and I feel safe testing pretty much anything with the single-use tools supplied by the store.

    The security guard thought my friends and I were shop lifting and kept following us around the store. At first I didn't notice but every turn I took, he was always behind me. After I payed for my things, he pulled me over to "check" my bag, then my friends', and then when we walked through the door, the alarm went off. A saleswoman came over and got us to walk through the door again, one by one, and this time, the alarm miraculously didn't go off. If they want customers to come back, they shouldn't be accusing them of shoplifting. I'm never coming back and recommend the Sephora at CF Pacific Center or the one at Richmond Center, as those security guards won't follow you around the store and pull you aside to see if whether or not you were shoplifting. Also, no hate to the staff, as they were amazing as usual, I just strongly dislike the security. Looking back at the other reviews, we weren't the only ones being followed, a bunch of other people all had this issue.

    The Robson store is a lot bigger than the one at Pacific Centre. I needed to get a foundation and visited both locations and found the Beauty stylist on Robson is a lot more helpful and attentive to my needs. And they help me to find the right tone and coverage that fits my needs.

    I bought these a few items at this Sephora location and they are super high quality, this location is extremely convenient, and they follow covid protocols, I am so happy with the product and i highly recommend this Sephora location. They are also very sanitary, it is disinfected very often.

    Whats with staff & security at this location? They make you feel like a shop lifter, follow you throughout. I have had atleast 10 times the staff coming upto to me to ask if I’m doing ok, sometimes the same staff multiple times. For Goodness sake, let a person do shopping peacefully 🙄. Bad customer service.

    Me and a friend were shopping at this Sephora and had a pleasant experience. The workers were extremely kind and helpful asking if me and my friend had any questions or needed assistance. It was up until we left the store and were on the sidewalk we were approached by a security guard around medium build who asked to see inside my friends bag. She complied but I was still confused as to what was happening so I asked to take it inside the store. I repeatedly asked him what was happening and what he was doing to my friend but he gave no valid response over and over. He then proceeded to make my friend take out each of her own makeup products she bought on her own time elsewhere (many you could tell were already half used or opened) but accused her of stealing it nonetheless. No alarms or anything were set off when we left the store. When we went inside the store he pulled out his cell phone and threatened to call the cops. I told the security guard that i had seen my friend use the products beforehand but he told me to “not get smart” with him which is quite inappropriate. He then proceeded to tell us that we could not return to the location or else would be kicked out again. He then confiscated my friends personal makeup items which many had not even been purchased at Sephora, and quite expensive too. The reason i am sharing this is because I see many others have had a similar experience of being accused of stealing

    I am writing this review since I had an excellent experience at Sephora, Robson st, a few days ago. It was the first time I showed up in this branch, and Karina, one of the staff, made my experience awesome. I was there to buy a sunscreen, and she guided me nicely. She showed me every option available for my criteria and skin type, and in the end, I could buy my sunscreen happily. Her professional behavior, besides her rich information about the products, made my purchase happy. I will come back again to this branch, for sure. Thanks, Karina!

    This store is bigger than the one at CF Pacific (IMO) , enjoy their Jo Malone selection of fragrances here They also have friendly staff at every location to wish you as you enter and leave the store and that itself puts you in the right frame of mind and makes you feel comfortable to shop Also really appreciate the diversity and inclusiveness of the folks at Sephora. Really speaks a lot about their corporate culture. It’s got something for everyone & their return policies are very nice as well

    My goodness! I went in last week to look for a gift and within the first 5 minutes I had 5 people come up to me asking if I needed help and just standing around right next to me as if I was going to steal something... I was so annoyed I had to leave the store, it was too much. people back off a little! its suffocating. Are you guys on commission? Is that why you were so pushy? Oh anddd also I just went to the cash to pick up my b-day gift which they only had one option??? and as im standing there to get served .. the cashier and another worker are just chatting away while I'm waiting .. like hello? do you see me? I waited a good 20 secs before she acknowledge me and finished her important story. So unprofessional...

    I visited the Robson location today. I went there, with zero knowledge and lots of questions in regards of some make up products. Ala helped me since the minute I stepped in the store. She was kind, friendly and very knowledgeable, and took the time to try on different colors on me to fit my needs and make sure I got exactly my perfect match. So lovely! Thank you, Ala!

    Usually I like this store but had a pretty poor experience this evening. When I went to pay for my item it scanned a different price to what was advertised on the shelf. The cashier had such a careless attitude and didn’t care whatsoever when I told her, it was a case of “well it’s scanning at this price so take it or leave it” until I took a photo of the shelf price, showed her and insisted she honour it. When my product was rescanned she didn’t bother putting in my beauty insider details so now I have no receipt or points for this transaction.

    The employees are very polite and they always try to provide the best customer service. I shopped at Robson Street and Park Royal stores and I was satisfied with both. You can easily choose anything you want from within the app.

    I loved the shop with all its wonderful decoration and its huge variety of makeup, creams and cosmetics for hair. Valerie was super nice and knew exactly what I was looking for, she was really nice, polite and in a very good mood. I took a lot of beautiful products with me thanks to her professional recommendations! Thank you Valerie :)

    I did the 75-minute beauty lesson here. When I booked the appointment, I added a note describing what I’d like to learn during the lesson and which products I already have (I’m a Rouge member so I have a LOT). The instructor (Julianna) was knowledgeable, well-prepared, and so friendly. I’ve always been a bit intimidated by makeup, but she showed me techniques that were beginner-friendly but still looked amazing. She showed me how to use the products I already own. She also found the right shades for my skin tone for products I wanted to add to my makeup routine. We had time to go through everything I had wanted to learn. As someone who has been frustrated by makeup for years, this beauty lesson was worth the money. I feel much more comfortable and confident applying makeup on myself now, and it’s only been a week since my lesson.

    I am a longtime Sephora customer - I'm a Rouge VIB member and have spent thousands of dollars on their products over the years. Today I went into the Robson location on my lunch break, picked up a setting spray and when I saw how long the checkout line was, put it back because I didn't think I could get back to work on time. A security guard appeared and accused me to trying to steal the spray. He searched my bag and made me empty my pockets, totally humiliating me and when all he found was an old lip balm (obviously very old and used and from a brand they don't even sell at Sephora) he said that's what he saw me steal and asked if it belonged to me. I was wearing a mask so I hadn't touched my lip balm. I told him it was mine and he just shrugged and walked off. No apology or anything. And I get it - mistakes happen - but I don't think it's a coincidence that I just happened to be the only black person in the store and I think that if you do make a mistake - especially one that involves HUMILIATING someone in the middle of a busy store - you apologize for it and acknowledge that mistake, you just don't walk off like nothing happened. NEVER coming back here again and will definitely be sharing my experience at this location.

    I had the best experience in my life, today with Danica! I was looking for gifts for my family and she came up and introduced herself... I realized that we are from the same country and I was very happy! She is a very kind, communicative and wonderful person .. she knew exactly what I needed. I wish I could give 10 stars for Danica!👍

    I feel a bit bad leaving this review but alas- the last two times I visited this location, I had a terrible helper. She didn't really seem to care that much, and wasn't very helpful. I asked for a lighter, dewy coverage that was buildable. The whole time I found her quite low energy and bored. She didn't didn't me follow up questions and just sort of led me to one aisle and went "yea maybe this one... what do you think?" She led me to a foundation that, upon online review, was said to be dry, full coverage and cakey when not prepped right. The second time I went weeks later, she ended up being the one to help me again. I gave her the same spiel for what I was looking for, and I happened to be standing in front of a certain brand and she asked just waved her hand to it and went "did you want this one?" Long story short, I now have a nearly orange, streaky, thin yet somehow still powdery foundation that's one month without sunlight away from being way too dark. Will probably end up returning it. Such a bummer because everyone else who works there seems extremely high energy, friendly and helpful, yet I keep being pointed to deal with this one person who gives maybe a 2/10 effort.

    Went in for a beauty treatment. Booking process was easy and accommodating. Julianna was an amazing makeup artist, really made me feel beautiful for my night out ❤️🥰 Angel was also very friendly and so kind. Would return again for sure.

    Victoria was so rude and pushy. She told me that the products I use aren’t good and immediately started trying to sell me youth to the people. When I said that I want a sample of a different moisturizer, she didn’t say anything and just walked towards the display where it was and got me the tiniest sample. Didn’t even fill up half the container. After I look around on my own and looked at a moisturizer I had used before and I know works for me and she comes back and leads me to youth to the people again to try and sell me a $90 tiny moisturizer I do not want. I literally told her that I don’t need such an expensive moisturizer

    I had a really bad experience at the Pacific Center location and came to the Robson one to return what I purchased. Angel helped me that day and was definitely an angel! Since then I always buy from this location and try to get her for any makeup advice. She definitely is the best, always so helpful and understanding with all my concerns.

    We just purchased items worth over $700 and while walking out of the store an old lady attacked me out of fear of my dog. We walked normally along the aisles and my dog right behind me. No sound nothing. The women in front of me all of the sudden pushed me with her fist in my stomach backwards and ran away. My dog started barking and growling at her which was correct as I got attacked and fell one step backwards by surprise. At the end no one apologized to me or my dog instead we would be blamed. Arriving at home I unpacked my goods and realized that they have sold me the wrong item size. I have asked multiple times for 50ml perfume bottles and not only at the store i got handed the wrong item (brand) first but now it was the wrong size… This was a horrible experience.

    Well I don't shop here but I was with my partner and she loved it. I would consider it a woman's version of a toy store. Lots of people shopping, very helpful staff. She loved it and I was happy to hang with her. The amount of make up in this store make me wonder how women can decide on anything to buy. So much selection

    A store packed with wonderful perfumes, hair and skin lotions, potions, and all the make up you could ever dream of. As a 50 something somebody I don't go in there a lot as it seems to be geared to the younger set. I did go last week though and got some age appropriate retinol cream, an undereye stick (with retinol) and concealer. The staff could all be my daughters' age if I had daughters and it can be daunting. Daunting as far as the many choices go and also because I drag my self in there with my wrinkles, under eye bags and less than glowing skin as though I'm looking for a miracle people! 🤦🏻‍♀️ And then these beautifully made up assistants with not a wrinkle or blotch in sight....sigh. Anyhow they were very patient & kind and indulged me until I found the "just right" under eye concealer. I even got a free gift for signing up for a loyalty program. Not sure when I'll go again though. Maybe if the retinol cream does its job!? 😁

    Morgan at Sephora was an absolute delight! Her positive energy and excellent recommendations made finding my perfect concealer shade a breeze. Not only did she assist me in-store, but she also went above and beyond by helping me find the right concealer on the website since I was planning on ordering it online. Her friendly demeanor and exceptional customer service made the entire experience delightful. ‼️‼️

    They have the most inviting staff, they greet you right away. I feel comfortable asking for help as soon as I get there, I was looking for dry skin product. A staff member was extremely helpful and even helped me to how the skins care steps work , the return policy is also amazing, I happened to buy wrong foundation but they accept refund warmly.

    I came here with my wife; a pretty standard occurrence I was reluctant to be a part of, as usual.. but a particular server (Liz) was very helpful, and showed my wife where all the products were, allowing us to get in and out in a mercifully short period of time. 8/10, would try to avoid again 😂

    Outstanding customer service with happy enthusiastic staff. They are willing and able to provide their expertise applied with incredible patience without hovering over you. How refreshing from other retailers who impose a pushy sales tactic - that's if you can actually locate an employee! Excellent selection with decent prices overall.     I usually am not a fan of the Sephora experience, being a very low maintenance simple tomboy and all, but let me tell you they have a staff member for everyone here. I just wanted a clean vegan moisturizer, no fragrance and few ingredients for my combination skin that is fussy. Acne prone, dry sometimes but also needs something that has no film. I stated my case thinking I would maybe get some samples and leave empty handed, but I got passed to another ginger such as myself and he had identical skin to me and totally understood. I Explained my case thinking the material world employees would not understand, but he was fully in my boat and had the same relatable experiences as me. We exchanged stories and he led me to a perfect product that is my absolute go to now. I asked for his name to give commission and he said don't even worry so I guess it doesn't work like that anymore. I honestly would have no idea without being vulnerable and letting them lead me to a similar skin type within their staff. Normally feel very out of place in these stores but had a great experience.     I came in looking for some Urban Decay primer potion and was able to get some great advice about what else to get to piece together a look after not packing any makeup. I didn't catch the person's name, but I really appreciated how helpful they were with answering all my questions about what brushes to buy and what kind of mini pallet would be good for both the look I had planned and for use in the future. I also found it helpful the explanation I got about the in-house make-up appointments, as I was shown how to make the reservation within the app and what information to include.

    I normally shop at the Robson location, but stopped in here for a quick few items and just wanted to give some love to Zak/Zach(sp.?) who was working the register when my friend and I checked out. He was super sweet and personable and left a lasting impression of the kind of customer service that stands out from the rest. I should note that the other staff we interacted with were also lovely, but he was exceptionally sweet. So much so that we made sure to read his nametag before we left.

    Mostly good experiences. Staffs are very friendly and helpful, lots of brands are in than other locations. However, the other day I visited, I asked a question about foundation. She led me to section by section, and recommended me many good stuffs. But after all I decided to get a sunscreen and makeup powder instead(because of my skin concerns and etc). Although I put stuffs into my basket that SHE recommended, she made me apologize to her because I didn't get the foundation that I "asked" initially. To me this doesn't make any sense and super uncomfortable. I will still go there, will ask questions, and purchase what I want or recommended, but this shouldn't be happened again to anyone.
