The visit to Vancouver planetarium was great especially for a group work kids/children. Guided tours include a lot of knowledge about the universe, stars and constellations, the space museum had a number of artefacts with descriptions including meteorites and images, and a simulator for guest usage. The lab presentation showed interesting facts about physics and gravity, and the observatory tour allows guests and visitors to use the telescope and actually observe planets (Venus was visible on the day of my visit). I highly recommend a visit to this planetarium for all visitors of Vancouver BC. Reviewed by Tarek Belghith from RZ Network Inc Ottawa Ontario Canada.

The pandemic has been declared over. Yet the planetarium is still pushing vaxx pass and masks, supporting the divide between people, and discriminating against others. My biggest complaint is when I called to ask if they were still enforcing masks the young man on the phone immediately became rude when I asked and hung up after arrogantly declaring "company policy" when I asked "why?".

Had a great event in the Vancouver Planetarium for Valentines day. The presentation was very informative and the presentor answered questions very well and was very helpful. I wish they did more things and events. Hopefully some would include the displays we saw.

My family and I went for the evening show because we wanted the off to the solar system show. It was amazing. The theater is an experience. The ticket includes a show at the theater, session at the observatory with the giant telescope (it's better to pick days with no clouds in the sky, otherwise the vision won't be clear). Also a session in the laboratory which is fun and dynamic. It is a nice thing to visit and suitable for all ages. Kids under 4 are free. The parking for two hours is for 9.5 dollars. There are also a lot of interactive exhibits in the museum. We went half an hour early to enjoy that since we wanted to leave right away after the program.

Took my two kids (5&7) to the planetarium. Seeing kids Awakening the spirit of discovery is fabulous. What a wonderful asset in our community.

Went for a multiverse event 19+ definitely recommend. Lots of immersive activities and exhibits. 4 stars for only having beer/wine as alcoholic beverages and for not providing enough snacks. 😢

The staff were extremely knowledgeable, and the exhibits were cool; however, it feels very dated inside and the place seems to be in dire need of upgrades. No mention of the Webb telescope, or discussion of SpaceX is a stunning omission!

The main exhibit can use a bit of an update, it hasn't really changed much over the years. However the science show and planetarium are 👌.

I very much enjoyed wandering around the planetarium 😊 spent 2.5 hours there reading everything! The whole place is wheelchair accessible, and the washrooms are in the lower level of the building and accessible via stairs or elevator. The entry hallway to the planetarium side of the building has a lot of flashing lights that may be overstimulating for some, they gave me a bit of a headache. The rest of the area is not flashing, and is full of a lot of neat info presented in a way that's easy to read and understand, and is also very interesting. There's a lot of info to read; but also diagrams; scale models; interactive simulations, screens, & games; they even have an actual astronaut suit on display which is awesome. There was a show I attended which ended at the observatory, and we were able to (safely) look directly at the sun with enough detail to see sun spots! There isn't a lot of selection at their giftshop, which I was sad about. Would have loved to try some astronaut food or something.

The star theatre is so cool but at the same time makes you sleepy. Sorry I kinda fell asleep… As someone who is not super super interested in planetary, I felt like there weren’t a lot of things to look at.

It's a very interesting place for all range of age. Everyone loves space, and they have like a museum of relative stuff in their exhibition. They also have a huge planetarium theater, which is so cool.

The staff was awesome. My 5 year old enjoyed the presentation about what life as an astronaut would be. It's a fun family outing. We were only here for about 2 hours.

Somewhat interesting. Not at all for kids under 6 or 7. Some of the displays werent working or glitching badly. Space Science show wasn't the greatest...presenter seemed to be winging it and equipment wasn't working properly. The Planetarium Star Theater was quite good. Presenter seemed well prepared and orated the show nicely. Still...not a good match for kids. The Earth to the Universe held them but they immediately lost interest in the presenter narration section of the show. The entire experience was ruined by finding a parking ticket on our windshield when parking was paid with ample time for our stay. Lost the receipt somewhere inside so I have no way to dispute it. So the experience just cost us $70 more. Obviously won't be returning if this is the kind of scam they've got running with EasyPark.

Too crowded for my enjoyment on a weekday when kids have no school. Nice displays and shows.

Very Cool experience. I saw a program there years ago done to Pink Floyd's Dark Side of The Moon. Fantastic show I wish they'd bring it back.

I'm almost 60 years old and I used to come here with my parents when I was a kid. This was the precursor to science world for me. It was always an exciting time when my parents would tell me we are going to the planetarium.

went with my nieve and nephew for a Star Wars theme night. the characters saved the night. I cannot say we were overly thrilled with the venue because it seriously needs some work. this is the second time, consecutively, that I've gone to the planetarium and exhibits are out of order. city of Vancouver clearly needs to make some investments in this well known Vancouver attraction.

It's great if you go to the dome for a showing, or the Starstuff Exhibit in the back. It's also attached to the Museum of Vancouver, so you can do both.

Absolutely beautiful and amazing, the rocket expiriment was pretty cool as well, the only downside is that the commentator in the planetarium room has no idea what he's saying.
