A beautiful, authentic Catholic Church in the heart of the city. My mother came to visit from out of province and during her stay we went to Sunday mass at this church. There is a beautiful horizontal statue of Jesus laying down right in front of the main doors... it’s gorgeous and interesting and draws you into the lovely building. It’s a visually appealing church and the service was a positive experience. The choir was pleasing and talented. I felt comfortable and welcomed from the moment I walked through the doors. I would definitely come back. The parishioners seemed to be devoted and loyal to this specific church which is always wonderful to see. I left feeling uplifted and peaceful. ***IF YOU FOUND THIS REVIEW HELPFUL KINDLY “LIKE” IT***

While in Vancouver on a Sunday, I was Blessed to arrive during Sunday’s mass. I attended mass and the services were beautiful. The Choir was amazing. I was so happy I was able to attend. There is a small gift shop and I bought several items to take home. As I was leaving, I saw Father walking up the steps. I asked him if he could bless my items and he did! Thank you father! A beyond beautiful Cathedral with beautiful services.

The whole Cathedral is magnificent and grand. Went here couple months back to hear mass in celebration of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. It was a the first mass of the day so there were not a lot of people. I got to appreciate the Cathedral more after the mass. The interior is beautiful and calming.

It's a beautiful building and the service was profound. I was happy to be able to take my mom to Sunday service so close to the hotel.

The Cathedral of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary is a stunning Catholic church located in the heart of downtown Vancouver. The building's impressive Gothic Revival architecture and intricate details make it a must-visit for anyone interested in religious architecture. The interior is just as beautiful, with stunning stained glass windows and a peaceful atmosphere perfect for prayer or reflection. The location is central and easily accessible by public transportation, and there are plenty of nearby restaurants and shops to explore. Overall, I highly recommend a visit to the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary for anyone looking to experience the beauty and history of Vancouver's religious landmarks

A beautiful gothic structure in downtown Vancouver. Looking forward to seeing it onscreen in Mike Flanagan's upcoming mini-series.

Gorgeous gothic French style architecture. Both employees and visitors are welcome and sweet people. Must see if you’re interested in architecture.

My place of peace-of-mind when things are not going so well. The structure gives me a nostalgic feeling. That feeling when you get a new hope, a new perspective.

Very beautiful Cathedral with a very good selection of mass times. Also available to stream some of the masses which is helpful when there is snow and ice out. Good clergy too.

A great neo-Gothic architecture in the city! Note: Washrooms are in the adjoining building on Richards Street, open during designated times.

Mass schedule can be found on the website. It is on Spanish, English, Latin. Enough space inside where you always are welcome! It has a beautiful architecture inside and outside.

Just really wanted to thank the rector of Holy Rosary Cathedral, Fr. Stanley Galvon and all of the assistant priests for their dedicated service throughout the pandemic. From distributing communion in the alley way when we were not able to gather for Mass, for always being available for confession throughout the pandemic and being there now to offer daily Mass 3 times a day Mon - Sat with a Sunday Mass on Saturday. I am a healthcare worker that works downtown. While my home parish is on the north shore, the Cathedral provides me with easy access to the sacraments, especially the sacrament of reconciliation which I am not able to attend at the times at my home parish. This Church has long been a port in the storm for me! Thank you to all for being there when we needed you most!

My happy place. Love attending masses at this church coz of the ambiance. Additionally, the church is open for about 3 hours after the 12nn mass for personal prayers and devotions. Very accessible too by public transpo.

I go to mass here. The most honest lost and found ever. Also, low key hope that this honest 5 star review helps get me past st Peter's gates a little faster.

Wonderful church and beautiful celebration. However, they need to adjust the priest's microphone. We can hear very well.

One of the best place to pray in Vancouver. Divine feel 💗✨

  • 5/5 Jim A. 1 year ago on Google
Multiple daily masses.. they weren’t using a sound system when we were there so it was a little harder to hear. You receive communion kneeling up in the front and it wasn’t very organized.. no ushers or anything. Loved the church and the homeless Jesus statue outside.

It is a beautiful church and has amazing architectural design. The exterior also looks very impressive and it's no surprise that the inside was so clean and well-maintained. It is also very comfortable and peaceful inside, a perfect place for worship.

I like how many different ethnic backgrounds of people come to pray together here amd also the diversity of priests who conduct the mass, although it is held in the English language at 8pm mass on Sundays. The choir sings beautifully although I wish I can join in for most of the songs. Its really nice to see a security guard who is of another religion who protects the church at 8 pm mass. If trouble arises you can always count on him to make everyone feel safe. 6 months ago review Beautiful place to hear the word of God and deliver prayers of forgiveness and hopeful good intentions to those who have trespassed against you. The mass here gives me the peace of mind and grace for continuation to keep on having faith that God will grant me the truth and justice through my journey in life. Thank you for the beautiful sermon today. God bless this world with true love for all people. Amen. 🙏
