Good quality coffee but a bit pricey.

I have been a customer buying Starbucks for nearly 20 years now. I have also brought business to the company. Two years ago I purchased 150 gift certificates for our employees. But for the first time, I had bad service at the Varennes branch. I arrived 2days after my birthday and asked if I could have my free birthday beverage. The guy at the counter said "no only on your birthday. It's too late." I was insulted. It was 5:25a.m., no lineup, no customers. In the past I had gone the week of my birthday. I recall once it was at the Starbucks on Taschereau. They offered me a free beverage no problem. After this years experience, I immediately erased the Starbucks app. I am no longer going back. I find his rigid response deplorable. Sorry Starbucks, perhaps you can reconsider the birthday politic and offer the gift the week of our birthday? Thanks
