Long
story
“medium”,
the
staff
at
this
location
is
prejudice.
We
booked
this
hotel
close
to
the
Arlington
to
rest
conveniently
after
a
friend’s
wedding.
After
the
wedding,
my
friend
asked
the
front
desk
for
an
extra
charger
and
then
proceeded
to
the
elevator.
Two
staff
members
followed
him
in
and
asked
what
room
he
was
staying
in,
and
he
told
them
he
forgot.
They
then
told
him
to
get
off
the
elevator
and
take
the
stairs
instead.
(Why?
We
don’t
know).
He
then
responded
with
a
decline
and
told
them
he
has
a
bad
back,
but
also
why
would
he
use
the
stairs
if
there
is
an
elevator.
My
friend
asked
why
he
was
being
followed
and
they
said
they
were
just
following
management
orders.
When
he
got
off
the
elevator
they
questioned
his
room
number
again
and
wanted
his
name.
My
friend
told
them
he
doesn’t
remember
the
room
number
but
he’s
walking
towards
it.
Also,
he
clearly
had
a
hotel
key
so
why
is
he
being
questioned
at
all.
When
he
gets
to
the
hotel
room,
his
wife
opened
the
door
and
was
confused
with
why
he
was
being
escorted.
The
staff
then
said
they
wanted
her
name
as
well
to
confirm
the
reservation,
she
instantly
understood
the
situation
and
said
“we
are
not
doing
this”,
grabbed
her
husband
and
closed
the
door.
Obviously
at
night
after
a
wedding,
nobody
wanted
to
deal
with
this
foolishness.
My
friends
are
a
lovely
Jamaican
family
and
if
their
skin
tone
was
lighter
they
would
not
be
questioned
or
followed
AT
ALL.
This
is
disgusting,
disappointing
and
disrespectful
behaviour.
I
am
also
black
and
luckily
did
not
experience
this
when
I
stayed
in
the
same
hotel
the
same
night
but
I’m
sure
it’s
because
my
friend
is
a
BLACK
MAN.
This
staff
should
be
FIRED.
