My recent stay at Staybridge Suites Toronto - Vaughan South was nothing short of disappointing, marked by a series of issues that marred our experience. Upon arrival, I had booked what was described as a suite for six people, only to find ourselves in a room that was far too small for even half that number. The room's cramped quarters, coupled with two small beds and makeshift accommodations, left us feeling uncomfortable and dissatisfied. This, unfortunately, forced me to rent an additional room at a last-minute, exorbitant rate, adding unexpected expenses to our trip. To make matters worse, our room's air conditioner was malfunctioning, leaving us to endure a stifling temperature of 27°C. Seeking a resolution, I went downstairs to request a repair, which further disrupted our plans and contributed to our overall discomfort. As if these challenges weren't enough, the breakfast experience at the hotel proved to be another letdown. The breakfast area was notably small, making it difficult for guests to find a table in the morning. In addition to the space constraints, the drink machines were out of order, and the quality of the breakfast offerings left much to be desired. This compounded our frustrations and impacted the overall enjoyment of our stay. While the hotel's location was convenient, and the staff remained polite and accommodating throughout our stay, the series of issues we encountered, including room size, unexpected costs, air conditioning, and breakfast woes, overshadowed the positive aspects. In summary, my stay at Staybridge Suites Toronto - Vaughan South was characterized by numerous challenges that marred our experience from beginning to end. I sincerely hope the hotel can address these issues promptly to provide a more comfortable and enjoyable experience for future guests.

Booked a room for 2 nights for a track championship. The rooms were clean and the atmosphere was very friendly. I have stayed at a few hotels and this was my best experience. The breakfast was delicious and the front desk staff were polite, patient and courteous. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to everyone. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable.

What a fantastic stay!!! We booked 5 rooms in a matter of minutes for our soccer families. Big shout out goes to the wonderful lady Lauier that worked the front desk. She was so accommodating to all of our needs both to the children on the soccer team and their siblings, as well as all the parents. The rooms were exceptionally clean. The beds were so comfortable as well. Oh and the breakfast was fantastic! We will definitely stay here again!

I was there with friends. Had a great stay and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Breakfast staff was accommodating and kind. Front desk staff was amazing as well, specially Ankush. Everybody was welcoming. They also offer free parking. Will definitely come back if I am around the area.

We had an amazing stay in this hotel. Everything was nice. The room was big and clean, the location was great, enjoyed the free breakfast. Close to Vaughan Mills which is great for shopping. We had a small request at the day of check out and thanks to Hannie at the front desk for being able to help. We highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel was affordable and spacious and I enjoyed my stay here. The front desk staff was very nice and hospitable as was the breakfast staff. The rooms have a full kitchens in them and are very convenient if you're staying here for a few days to weeks. I highly enjoyed the free breakfast and the diverse menu they had. The only con I have is that room keeping was slow and we had to request it multiple times for them to send someone. overall, I will stay at this hotel every time I am in Vaughan. Highly suggest it!

First stay in Toronto and experienced a great hotel. The suites are very well equipped and the fittings are great quality. Rooms are acceptable size but the biggest plus is the living room which have a built-in mini kitchen that lets you be independent. Staff are super kind and professional. Pros - living room with mini kitchen in the suites - staff - amenities and quality - self service free laundry Could be improved - price has doubled just recently and at above 200$ maybe too expensive for the hotel rating but maybe for summertime it's reasonable - buffet breakfast has acceptable variety but could have more options

Really good stay here for 9 nights with the wife and kids. Front desk was always friendly and accommodating. Adam the manager has built a good team here. Had a small issue in the room that was repaired within 15 mins. Breakfast was really good, with good variety and quality of food. Early in the week they even have a small appetizer selection in the evenings, which is nice. Rooms are clean and well-stocked. They have every appliance and dish you might need to feel like you're at home. Definitely a good experience.

I had two suites booked last weekend 444 & 457. Rooms was clean and have almost anything you would need. Princess, Laurie and Hannie at the front desk experienced, helpful, very friendly, patient and courteous. Breakfast is fresh and Restaurant staff was running around to refill and keep the buffet clean all the time. I Would love to stay at Staybridge Suites Toronto - Vaughan South whenever I am in the area. Thanks to management for choosing and training the amazing staff. Fantastic stay - Extremely impressed. We stayed for 5 nights last week. The 2 bedroom suite was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was simple but a good choice of dishes and quality ingredients. A special thanks to Bless and Aurora in the dining area and Daisy in housekeeping but also all of the staff who were friendly, professional and always willing to help.

Although this was on the outskirts of Toronto and we had hoped to stay in the centre we are so glad we stayed here. Lovely staff, excellent rooms and lo and behold, free pizza, pop and cookies!! Interesting mix of demographics amongst the other hotel patrons and we were curious to discover what brings people here. Sports groups? Traveling salespeople? Randoms like us? Anyway this is a really nice hotel and well worth the effort. Thank you!

This hotel met our expectations. The room is modern and looks like newly renovated. Cleanliness of the room is outstanding. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Front desk and breakfast staff were amazing. We would definitely come back!

Rooms were clean and comfortable; staff service was friendly and professional. Food included on certain weeknights was plentiful and tasty. We had a suite and everything was neat and tidy, amenities were stocked, and our stay was quiet and free from interruptions or troubles.

I'm very pleased with my stay at this hotel. The room was meticulously clean and beautifully arranged, making me feel comfortable from the moment I stepped in. The hotel's location is also very convenient, allowing me easy access to important city destinations. The self-service breakfast here is also quite stylish and offers a variety of interesting choices. I'm certain that I'll return in the future.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The room was clean and well-arranged, providing a comfortable atmosphere right from the moment I walked in. The hotel's location is also very convenient, making it easy for me to get to important city landmarks. Stay in TO was over a week and booked a suite with kitchen. Great room, spacious, well appointed and clean. Breakfast was included and had a large variety of hot and cold choices (skip the coffee). Free parking. Easy on and off the freeway. Only issue was the room refresh was inconsistent- towels were always replaced but garbage removal was sporadic and the floors (specifically bathroom) was never swept/ vacuumed. All staff we encountered were very nice.

I visited the hotel this afternoon to find a meeting place. There was a young lady at the front desk and I tried to give her my business card but she ignored it. Her attitude made me very embarrassed. I had never seen such a service attitude before. Maybe it's because I'm Asian The manager will have to train the staffs so that the guests who visit the place will have a better memory.

We lived in Chatham area and every time my husband and I visit our family in Vaughan, this hotel is our go to as this is near hwy 401. The price of stay is a bit pricy though. The reception people are accommodating and the Filipino people from the kitchen who serves the breakfast were amazing. It was a great customer service. The hotel is clean too. please continue to sanitize all rooms and add complimentary bottled water in every room.

i was here for 2 weeks for work. I can’t fault it. For the price this place was perfect. Room was well presented and very clean. All staff were helpful and friendly. Definitely at no point did this feel understaffed. Even the restricted covid breakfast had basically the full choice that they would normally offer.

Booked a room to celebrate our anniversary and we were extremely impressed with how clean the room was and not to mention, how much it felt like home. Also, we were checked in by Laurie who was extremely kind and very welcoming. She made the check in process not only fast but very easy and was helpful in answering all of our questions. We definitely look forward to coming back here and would recommend this hotel!

This was probably the worst stay of my life! First of all this hotel needs to hire a new front desk supervisor. The woman has no sense of customer service, she is incredibly disrespectful and seems like she brings her own problems to work. Second of all, there was a whole day that the power went out in this hotel and they didn’t even have a generator or offer any sort of compensation. If you don’t believe me, please experience it for yourself.

One of the nicest IHG hotels I have stayed at. Clean...well-maintained...great breakfast...nice kitchenette. Definitely recommend for business trip or family vacation. Only thing that kept this from being a 5 star was the lack of scenic views.

During my phonecall reservation, I specifically asked if I can stay till 4pm because I was working that day and the gentleman agreed. I asked if I would have to pay extra and once again the gentleman said no I wouldn't have to. Day of check someone comes and tells us we had to leave by 11am. Went down to reception and they told me that they don't see it anywhere in their notes so I have to pay extra or get out. Rooms are great but huge disconnect between booking and the actual hotel disorganized my work day. Almost felt like a bait and switch.

Room service: Never fill up tea and coffee kitchen service: Staffs are quite mean and disrespectful when taking some fruits. I was told the limit is two Most other hotels leave fruits for everyone to take all day unlimited (24 hrs available). Suggest to train the staffs to make travellers feel more welcome than feeling unpleasant to stay in hotel. Good location but do not expect too much from staffs and service. Treat it like a worker camps and not a hotel.

Very good services and comfortable hotel. One of our rooms was a bit smoky and they made a change for us without hesitation. The hotel room is well-equipped and easy to use. Location is good but just beside a very busy main street.

I attempted to check in with my partner to this establishment after travelling over an hour with a booking under a reservation that was made and paid for us by a friend. This booking was an evening gifted to us for intended an evening of celebration due to an engagement. I was immediately refused service and told We would not be allowed to room due to our friend not being present during check in. We kindly offered to call and explained that we had travelled quite far for this. we were refused service rudely and asked to leave for absolutely no reason. Overall, I am not impressed with the means of service nor would I recommend this establishment to anyone,

Was pretty disappointed with the Staybridge. Prior to booking I called the reception of the hotel to inquire about pet fees and prices for the night and was provided a quote for my stay. I was going to book with a different hotel spot, due to the high pet fee and cost of the Staybridge room, but the receptionist said that they were able price match the different chain. We agreed to move forward with the booking, and checked in. However, the following day we were informed by the next shifts receptionist that they were going to be adding a +$40 fee for my pet, which I had explicitly discussed prior to booking or arrival. Despite explaining the quote and situation to the individual, they refused to waive the additional fees, saying that I did not declare my pets on check in. Overall it was a very frustrating experience and I would not recommend this hotel to any pet owner. The staff was very rude to deal with and in the end we were still charged the increased price/fees. Would not stay again.

Nice place to stay with friendly staff! , nice and clean with a very comfy bed!. The breakfast was fab! Lovely sweet lady called Aurora she was very welcoming every morning, and made our stay extra special by making us feel very welcome!. Thanks again! When we visit next we will certainly stay again. Was thoroughly impressed with the friendliness of the staff and quality of room. The courtyard looked like it offered some nice relaxing areas to wind down with though I was unable to enjoy during this stay. There was a complementary hot breakfast which I thought was run well enough with what could be done during Covid protocols. I felt it lacked low carb options as I wasn't a fan of the turkey breakfast links, though everything was fresh and hot. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area and will return should the need arise.

I give an A plus ➕, to the front desk and other staff. They were very helpful in making our stay, safe and pleasant, especially, Michelle Charles. Rooms were OK with adequate furnishings. Staff were responsive when you make polite requests. Covid regulations were in place, observed, and implemented. Breakfast was good. I would recommend this facility for vacation and/or business travel.
