Really enjoyed our recent stay at this hotel. Given the times of covid, we were of course thankful for the safety measures put in place on our arrival. Plexi glass and a smiling masked team member who was pleasant and made check in a smooth one. The lobby was spotless. Our room was spotless. We did bring our own lysol wipes, but that was our own comfort level! The furnishings didn't seem the most current we have experienced in our travels, but the bed was comfy and the room was enjoyable. Liked the breakfast to go, just missed the wholeness of the pre-covid offerings. Overall a nice place to stay when in the area or need to be close to Etobicoke General Hospital for anything! Safe travels!

Very disappointed by our stay. We had reserved a room sometime ago for a family wedding this weekend. We did not get into the room until almost 2 in the morning, but noticed immediately that there was a very strong and unpleasant smell in the room. Since it was already very late, and we were with our young child, and we decided to power through it hoping that running the air system in the room would make the odor go away. It did not. My wife struggled to sleep all night, and I could still smell it when I woke up the next day. When we were leaving in the morning we informed the staff at the front desk, following the instruction I saw on a plaque in the room where Holiday Inn Express proudly talked about their customer first policy, and encouraged guests to report anything that was not satisfactory. Rather than try to rectify the situation, the manager on front desk person made us wait in the lobby and delay our time of leaving because she insisted she needed to go upstairs and verify the smell. Upon her return she claimed that there was no smell and didn’t know what we were talking about. We explain to her how unpleasant the smell was, how much it compromise our experience, and why we didn’t have a chance to notify the staff sooner. She would not budge and made my wife feel quite uncomfortable by insisting that there was no smell, indirectly making it seem as if we were lying or making something up. We were already running late so we had to go and left it at that. We will definitely not be booking at that hotel ever again, and if anyone else needs a Hotel in the area then I would recommend the Element by Westin that is right next door.

Stayed at this hotel while in town for work. I was so surprised at how clean the hotel was. From the lobby to the hallway, even the rooms! Nice and quiet location and a bonus that it has complimentary breakfast! I would definitely come back to this hotel! I must say tho, the hot tub isn’t that “hot” and the jets weren’t working. But other than that, I had a fantastic experience here. Kim at the front desk was training a new employee and was extremely patient with him while maintaining a level of professionalism with guests!

Overall TERRIBLE service and WAY OVER PRICED (although the lady at the front desk was good tho). The maid service BARELY wanted to do their jobs, and asked me to get the garbage for them and take it out of the room for them. They didn’t even come in the room to take out the garbage, which is their job. Rooms and corridors are WAY TOO DARK. I wouldn’t stay at this house lace again. Might as well stay at a motel for MUCH LESS, and you expect the same kind of service basically LOL.

Holiday Inn really stepped their game up these past few years. Their hotels are clean, efficient and comfortable. Plus, I love the fact that they identify the ''SOFT'' and ''FIRM'' pillows - I think it's a very nice touch. Free parking and breakfast are included. One of the best hotel breakfast I had in a few years. My only downside is the lack of convenient power outlets in the rooms. You practically need to leave your phone on the floor to charge; there's no convenient power plugs near the bed or desk area of your room. Hotel Amenities: - Pool - Gym - Free Breakfast - Free Parking - Free Wifi - Laundry Service

This hotel was Great! We had stayed in another hotel for two days preceding this one and were very pleasantly surprised upon arrival to this one. We were greeted with an early check in (not expectation but much appreciated), and also a great experience with the front desk offering us information about local travel. The room was very clean and very comfy beds. The kids used the pool every day as well which is a must after a long day in the sun.

Enjoyed my stay here. The people at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. There two nice restaurants just close. Just take a walk out sides. The rooms were cleaned daily, and very spacious too. Daily complimentary breakfast was available from 6:30-9:30am and they had some options including freshly made pancakes you could make yourself. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. Will come back.

Have stayed in many Holiday Inn Express but I have to say this one was great! Everything was spotless, everywhere! From the dining room to the meeting room to the guest room we stayed in for one night. Bed was super comfortable, king suite was larger than expected, hotel was quiet, which is a huge plus for me! I was apprehensive about being in a room near the elevator as I have bad experiences in the past with very inconsiderate guests, even very late at night. This one was quiet, elevator wasn't loud either. Heating/cooling unit in room was a bit loud and traffic on occasion (it's at a very busy intersection), but I was able to sleep once accustomed to those sounds. Staff were very pleasant and helpful and went out of their way to have the room ready early so I could work from there, rather than from the lobby area. Ample plugs to charge phone and laptop in lobby an in room; working from here was easy. WiFi was strong and appreciated. Desk area in room was suitable. Great light from window and 2 sets of blinds, awesome!! Thank you for making my little working getaway easy and enjoyable!

Very clean and great value. It's located in a very busy area of Richmond Hill. Close to lots of restaurants. Friendly front desk staff. Breakfast was served, but I was too tired to get out of the comfy bed. Place was very clean. This was my second stay here, and I will certainly be returning.

Great bang for the buck. It's a newer hotel. Everything is nice and clean. Breakfast is good. The only 2 complains I have are the pool water is extremely cold and the walls are not soundproof at all. I can hear everything that's happening in the hallway and neighboring room. Other than that, it's a wonderful hotel for the rate.

Came down from Windsor to do some training and brought the fam along for the ride. We got a queen room with 2 double beds. Check In was efficient and friendly. The beds are super comfy and so are the pillows with diff degrees of firmness to choose from. We absolutely loved the incorporation of all the Dove products. Finally hotel shampoo and conditioner that doesn’t dry your hair out! We took advantage of the fitness room and pool and sauna as well. The continental breakfast was great! The chef Anthony, came out frequently to refresh the food, keep it tidy and answer any questions you may have had. He definitely made the experience that much better! I would definitely stay again for the comfort of the stay the amenities and the perfect location

The room was great, but we were really disappointed that the pool was unusable for our entire stay. It was open, but cloudy and green 🤢. The main reason for our stay was to change things up and give the kids a chance to play in the pool. The staff didn't seem to care at all or do anything about it. The breakfast was delicious though. If you just want to sleep and eat, it was great.

I booked the Holiday Inn for my wedding. I arrived at the Holiday Inn the day before my wedding night, and I was told that no Booked a hotel for me even though I booked it back in August in my wedding was in October. The staff are friendly and the food is good. I would like them to be more organized and communicate more with their team based on wedding Reservations. Other than that I would say it is a good location. Great room, but communication is very bad especially the day before my wedding and no hotel was available.

We stayed at this hotel overnight with pets. They were so nice to our dogs and put us on a bottom floor near a door so we could take them on potty breaks easily. The hotel was very clean and felt new - we felt like we were not in a space hundreds of people had potentially used before us. Their pet fee was lower than any other hotel that we quoted. The gym was nice (my only complaint would be they need more low weight dumbbells) and the breakfast was hot and delicious, and everything was stocked and functioning. Their staff was also very kind. Would definitely go back, and now will definitely consider becoming a loyalty member and trying out other holiday inns instead of the current chain I frequent.

This was possibly the best hotel we have stayed at the past few years. It was very clean and the customer service was great. We were travelling as a hockey team and were treated with respect the whole time. The staff was very accommodating, the breakfast was great and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel.

Pretty good hotel. Had an overnight visit for vacation while attending Canada's Wonderland. The hotel is very modern and clean. The pool area was lacking as the hot tub was non functional. Rooms were spacious and accommodating for the stay. Although Slightly on the higher side of price point.

Good hotel in Vaughan with friendly staff. Room was very new and spacious . Beds are extremely comfortable. Nice breakfast even if the selection of food is not that huge. Good quality ratio. Recommended

we had planned a day at Wonderland. I looked for hotels close to Wonderland, and they are all very pricey, we found this Holiday Inn, and it was excellent about 20 min away. At good rate and great service. The breakfast was above average and the service staff maintaining the breakfast area was out of this world. The rooms are nice and new and clean and the showers are Spa like.

Nice hotel! Breakfast staff very attentive. Nice selection, some potato options would be nice. Drink machine a little confusing. Check in/ out easy and fast. Clean room. Bed was ok with soft/firm pillow options. Nice pool and hot tub. Pool could be 2 degrees warmer. Hot tub was perfect, except needs a little scouring on edge of water. Far from downtown Toronto but close to Canada’s Wonderland amusement park. Neighborhood ok but gas station nearby had locked prepay pumps, so maybe neighborhood is a bit sketchy? Lots of industry nearby. Would stay again.

I truly wish I could give zero stars. This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had, because I never even got to stay. My husband and I had booked to stay at this hotel for our honeymoon. We booked over a month in advance, and I immediately downloaded the IHG app and created my IHG account to be as informed as possible. I ensured the room was reserved and checked the app often leading up to the trip. Unfortunately, when my husband and I arrived and went to check in, we were told that our reservation was not guaranteed and the hotel was fully booked. I asked why the reservation was 1) not guaranteed, is that not the point of making reservation? And 2)why was I not contacted. I was told my contact info was not in their system, however I have an IHG account, and was using the app and was never contacted. I then showed the screenshots of the reservation, with the confirmation number of my reservation. Unfortunately, crushed, and without a place to stay hours from home, my husband and I had to start from scratch and start making calls to other hotels at 7pm. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Avoid at all costs. Don't have your careful planning tossed aside like I did.

Dishonest! Terrible Customer Service! We used this hotel for an overnight while attending a wedding. We used our free night through IHG and asked for a receipt when checking out. We were told there were no charges and that we were set. They charged my MC for $3.57 and was told that it was for a bottle of water. I explained to them that we brought our own water and didn't drink it. They refuse to credit my account. I'm sure the housekeeper got us confused with another room. I know it's only $3.57, but it's the principle!!!!

Very good hotel. We came here for a weekend trip to Toronto. The location is great as it is very close to some of the major highways. Many restaurants are nearby. We got the 2 Queen Beds room. Very neat and clean. The room was properly stocked. Smooth check-in process. WiFi was good as well. Breakfast was included in our reservation but unfortunately, if you are vegan then there isn't any option for you except maybe fruits, black coffee etc. One may want to carry non-dairy milk with them in case they want. The staff was good, in general. On the second day though, they restocked the towels only for two people. Maybe it wasn't communicated to the housekeeping staff. We asked the reception to get the extra towels which took quite some time. Otherwise, things were great. Plenty of parking is available but if you come late at night, you might need to park a little far. Definitely recommended.

Staff was friendly. The room was clean, comfortable and the temperature in the room was easy to adjust. The breakfast was good for a free breakfast. The price for the area was pretty fair. Close to amenities, several take out options and a gas station are close by. Easy drive to Vaughn Mills and Canadas Wonderland.

We visited Toronto this past weekend, we found this hotel with rooms available, as apparently there were events so it was a little difficult to find a place available and with accessible price. Super recommended, very tasty breakfast, super clean and spacious rooms, and in customer service, super friendly and attentive to the guest at all times. Thanks to each of the people who served us and especially Antony who assists at breakfast, super friendly and always with a smile, made us feel welcome at all times. If you need a hotel, this is definitely recommended!!!!

The hotel capacity in a holiday time-frame were expectedly busy. Service was great, but shortages on towels and nessecities seemed to downplay our overall experience

Had a great stay. Hotel room was modern and clean. I always appreciate fresh white bedding in a hotel. They also had amazing dark out blinds which were great. Friendly staff.

Our soccer team recently stayed here for 3 nights and the staff were very accommodating and courteous. Right from the booking process and through the entire weekend, we had a very enjoyable weekend! I would highly recommend this place to other sport teams!

  • 3/5 Travis E. 3 years ago on Google
Its clean and appears nice but 3.99 for water and to say "please enjoy" your hotel is over 100 to stay in a night and you charge 3.99 if someone's thirsty? Honestly it was a nice hotel, but that's criminal. Wouldn't pay out of my own pocket to stay here thats for sure. Specifically cause of this.

What amazing and compassionate staff! Kim and Maria at the front desk really care about the guests and have provided us with an amazing experience! We travel a-lot and ALL the staff we encountered are so genuine when engaging with not just us but other guests as well! They went above and beyond to accommodate our needs! Breakfast was good... lots of choice and take away containers are available! Kitchen staff also extremely helpful! Thank you so much Holiday Inn for a stay that far exceeded our expectations!!! You have been our go to when travelling with our dog... but after this experience you will be our go to for all our trips!!!

After a long flight diversion from Toronto to Montreal and back to Toronto … staff made the extra effort to wait for our check in at 4:15 am. Hotel is super clean / newly renovated. Most comfortable bed and sheets ever ! Great free breakfast. Will definitely stay again. Only 12 minutes to Pearson. Recommend !
