Just a heads up, our Catalytic converter was stolen from our vehicle well staying here. No cameras on the property. Also happened to another family staying at the hotel. *be smart when parking your vehicle. No help from the hotel.

We travel a lot with our kids tennis. This hotel was much better than we usually get. The breakfast was amazing, the lobby is welcoming and big enough to have your own area, the gym is incredibly well equipped, the pool looks new, and to have all these things with a feel of luxury PLUS a little kitchen in the room... really fabulous. And in the same parking lot, there is a steak house, Italian restaurant, taco and burrito restaurant, Indian restaurant, Mediterranean restaurant, subway, and a ribs and fried chicken place. It is so wonderful to be able to get dinner from any one of those places with just a 1 minute walk rather than a drive or 40 minute delivery wait.

Found these in our bed the am after our night stay. We’re told we can definitely switch rooms because of what we found by the hotel employee. Go downstairs to be told they were fully booked and they don’t have a room for us. So you make us pack up, and then basically say go back to your room with your bed bugs or leave?! We were then told the manager wasn’t in because it was Sunday morning, and that someone would definitely contact us sometime in the coming week. It took until Wednesday for me to call them and the rude front desk attendant to tell me once i told him they situation, that the “professionals” still had to come to access the situation and that they would call me once they did. Basically long long story short, they have bed bugs and tried to throw dirt over it. I was going let it go but the way they think they can just brush off a customer paying top dollar on a Saturday night is unacceptable. The manager should have contacted me. My stay was Saturday April 16, 2022. Found the bed bug the 17th. Never have us any voucher or discount and thought we would just disappear. Stay at Novotel or holiday inn, these people don’t respect their customers.

Great location but rooms are filthy. I don't think sheets are changed. Hairs and stain found. I don't think bathrooms are cleaned properly or sanitized properly. Only wiped with a wet rag. No cleaner used.. Cleaning seems super rushed!

Stayed for my wedding and received THE WORST customer service. We had blocked off about 10 rooms and some were not ready til after 4pm (check-in is 3pm but not guaranteed according to GM). Then at night there was an altercation with the front desk due to all the confusion with wrong room keys being given out. The lady at the front said to my wife during that time, “I feel bad for whoever married you” while being in her wedding dress at 3am ON OUR WEDDING NIGHT. This left my wife in tears when I brought her up to the room to calm her down. The receptionist played victim and told the GM that she was in tears because of the altercation. The man at the front desk in the morning had offered us 1 free room and 1 discounted room to compensate for what happened the night before, which I don’t think makes up for the poor choice of words from their employee. When I reached out a few days after our stay, John Caneco (GM) had clearly made up his mind with what he wanted to do to resolve the situation and sided with his employee before hearing the whole story from both parties. He clearly condones any reaction from his employees, regardless of the situation. I had apologized for our behaviour from the altercation and have not yet received any type of remorse from their end. HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT STAYING HERE.

I expected a bit more because I'm used to the Marriott brand as my go to hotel brand. However, the hotel sufficed for the 2 nights I stayed there. The rooms were not too small but not as standard as I am used to. The sheets were not pressed so no way in knowing if they're fresh or not. Breakfast was included but nothing out of the ordinary. Other than that, it is a good hotel in a good location and fit for our purpose.

The service we received from the staff was top notch and the rooms were quiet, clean, and large. Breakfast was high quality with several healthy options. I specifically chose this hotel due to it offering EV charging. This is one area I think could be improved. The pricing Element has chosen does not encourage overnight parking which defeats the purpose of a hotel offering EV charging. At $3/hour and then $10/hour when charging completes you could easily spend upwards of $50 to charge while spending the night. This pricing structure is ideal for locations like restaurants and malls where you do not want vehicles to stay too long. At a hotel however where you want your guests to be comfortable overnight a flat rate per session would be more appropriate. In the end I had to go back out after midnight to move my car. The lot was full by this time of however forcing me to park further away which could become a safety concern.

If I could give 0 I would. Do not stay here!! Upon check in the room was dirty with old pasta on the floor and used facecloth in the bathroom. Disgusting. Upon complaining to the front desk the nice young girl tried her best to accommodate me but from there it went downhill. No covid protocols there were at least 10 people in the lobby with no masks on. Security was sitting on a computer surfing the web. The pool was supposed to have a max of ten people yet when our party of 4 were in there they allowed 12 people to come into the pool area. They double billed me so upon calling to rectify the issue the rude arrogant GUY who answered the phone transferred me to a mon existent accounting department. They recharged me then took the charge off my card which meant the original charge was still there. No accountability. Horrible customer service. Dirty hotel. Nothing good to say

Highly recommend staying at this hotel! One of the cleanest hotels with roomy suites. Complementary breakfast was a bonus! I had an issue with my booking as I booked through the Marriott app, but Mark at the front desk was a great help and got the issue resolved within 5 minutes. Will be sure to come back here for my next stay!

The heat in my room was not working so as I was leaving to go to a function I told them to look into this. I got back at 2 am still not working. They brought us to another room to sleep but in the morning I had to shower and get ready in the cold room. They said their hotel is eco friendly was their answer. Very disappointed

Great experience! Hotel was modern, sleek and always clean and tidy. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about amenities in the hotel and also about the surrounding area around. My room was spacious and had a kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave, dishes, glasses, cutlery and everything you needed to eat with. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

This hotel is incredible. The service, cleanliness and and rooms are outstanding. We were able to use all of the amenities offered. The pool and the gym were so clean at all times, and staff respond to any requests almost immediately. The breakfast in the morning was particularly one of the best parts. Everything was offered (waffles, eggs, bacon, potatoes, bagels, toast, muffins, cookies, oatmeal, cereal, you name it)! You can enjoy fresh & delicious coffee all day with treats as well. I recommend the rooms with the kitchen and couches. They're fully loaded with anything you would need for a comfortable stay.

I visited this Hotel in January 2023 and was very impressed with the room and service in general. The room are spacious and well designed. Everything was functional, the bed was comfortable and I really enjoyed the kitchen area which allow us to me even more functional without the need to lead the room. Overall a great place with great breakfast and great customer service. The only CON's is that the parking is a bit awkward, it's small in front of the hotel and not clear if you are allowed to park in the other section that seems to belong to other businesses.

Overall a decent place, but the hot water in the bathroom stopped working after first day. At check out, we went to use our JW Marriott gift card we had received for $250, they refused to honor it because “they don’t participate in that program”. Sure glad our $250 Marriott gift card was useless at a MARRIOTT HOTEL!

Great place and always a great stay. The staff is some of the most kind! Have stayed 6 times! The only complaint -Coffee in the rooms is terrible! Good gym with cardio and weight machines, free weights.

One of, if not the nicest hotel rooms we've stayed in for our little family. Rooms were clean and full of light with a huge window letting in tons of light. The full-ish kitchen with bench seating for 2 was awesome. The washroom was big and clean with great lighting in the shower. Breakfast was possibly the best of all we've had in terms of how breakfasts that are included. Staff at breakfast, in the pool area and at the desk were all very kind and courteous. Honestly a definite recommend if this is the type of hotel that you're looking for. Close to Toronto but not too far, location was great close to main arteries to get in and out of the area.

No airport shuttle. Contacted Element by phone to confirm there was an airport shuttle, and were affirmed there was. We asked multiple times since they are not listed on the Toronto Pearson website as having a shuttle, and were told our last minute reservation was non-refundable. After paying and calling the number provided for the shuttle, we were told there is no shuttle. Another $100 to/from the hotel and time wasted in taxi line during a snowmaggedon.

my stay so far has been wonderful at the Elements Hotel in vaughan. The staff here are great, especially a gentleman named Joe who works at the front desk. He has been extremely helpful and always has a smile on his face! Mankomal is another employee who works in the kitchen. Since my first day staying here until now, Mankomal's hospitalilty has been exceptional. He goes above and beyond while serving guests and making guests feel comfortable.

Element Hotel has everything you need for a perfect stay! We stayed here for our wedding and it was just perfect. The location was great and close by. The rooms were huge and all equipped with their own kitchens!! Nice and clean. Fair group discount prices as well. Talk with Amneet! He’s great

This place is CLUTCH. Location is perfect. I booked a TWO night stay and extended another THREE nights! FIVE nights stay at The Element By: Weston. A true home away from home, so much so; I decided to extend my stay. Truthfully, I started by walking into the Holiday Inn across the street. The moment I got into the lobby, I knew it wasn't giving, for me, and so I left. Enter The Element. The staff instantly made me feel at ease here. From the jump, I felt comfortable, with the help of some of the first staff I met upon arrival. Front Desk was informative, empathetic and open to conversation. Being a naturally skeptical individual, I needed to SEE the options for the rooms. Josefena without hesitation, warmly and graciously showed me-- as well as recommended-- several King and Kitchenette rooms. After seeing the room options, I was certain and enthusiastically became a Convoy Member with the help of Front Desk. Very Spacious rooms! I imagine, with the elevator working so efficiently, never waiting longer than twenty seconds, and the extra wide hallways; that most of these rooms appear to be wheelchair and assisted living accessible. No tight corners in-and-outside of the rooms. My washroom was huge also, with a large step in the shower. Water pressure I'd give a 3 out of 5 as my only reservation. (I was on the top floor, so lower levels may not experience this.) It's cozy, clean and has a wonderful meeting and communal areas. The sunken lobby is fabulous if you travel with friends to hang out in, and has several TVs on with a variety of options playing. Guests could choose whatever they liked on the TVs. The tepid pool was lovely in the afternoon, the hot tub was relaxing and HOT! The Gym was great. Enough cardio machines you won't have to wait, and the Weighted machines as well as Dumbbell rack were well maintained. With apples and gym towels provided for within the facility, the Element's amenities pleasantly, sufficed. Continental breakfast with the lovely Manko and Andrew ( breakfast attendants ) were more than hospitable. I was encouraged to pack some food up, so it was usually only dinner I needed to cook for (AMAZING CONDO STYLE KITCHEN, i BOUGHT GROCERIES AND COOKED EVERY NIGHT), or if I pleased, could order in takeout. (I would creatively make new items from the breakfast items for a light lunch. An extra expense I needn't worry about.) The options within 2 minute walking proximity from the front doors consisted of The Keg to Fionn MacCools, to Teriyaki, Quesada, a Shell gas station amongst the convenient options. Honorable/Notable mentions: Front desk staff: Mark, Gigie and Regina. Maintenance: Jamal, Michael Williams, Janoy, Breakfast attendants: Mansko, Andrew Ladies: Josefena and other cleaning ladies. Some local residents I met who have chosen to live here! As this is a great space for transitional living. hope this helps xo Love, La Per (8) xo

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome all the staff are very polite. One of the staff Hassina always gave us very good tips on where we can visit and spend the day off. I definitely suggest this hotel and next time I will stay again at Element Vaughan Southwest.

Definitely nicer than what I've been staying at in the area. Parking is free, for starters, and there's a few restaurants and a pub in the same parking lot! Rooms were nice and modern with daily cleaning service. They had a daily evening reception with charcuterie board items and fresh loose leaf tea. Breakfast was free in the morning and changed daily, with the normal breads and pastries as well as hot items like potatoes, omelettes, egg sandwiches, and hard boiled eggs among other things. Gym was nice but a little small - it only had one bench and no pull up bars or loose cable machines. Overall, I would definitely recommend!

Great place in Vaughn. Good value for money. Second time here in past year, everything works well. Clean, pleasant rooms, daily changed. Excellent breakfast included. Has Sina, in charge of the breakfast buffet, is absolutely charming, always ready with a smile and a positive comment. Will always make this hotel my first choice of stay in Toronto.

Claudio, the customer service representative that spoke to us over the phone provided excellent professional customer service. I could see why this hotel is rated very high on Google. The hotel area was very clean and safe, vast amount of parking and food restaurants within the vicinity. The rooms were spacious and the washroom was very modern. Stayed there for two nights, I would highly recommend!

Almost ruined my wedding day. If you’re considering staying here, make sure you set your expectations low and check everything before you book. I highly recommend a better hotel elsewhere, the convenient location is not worth the pain and struggles. - We booked a large room for me and my groomsmen to get ready in. They gave me a smaller room & when I asked to move a couch to make it more spacious, the hotel manager was extremely rude and not accommodating. We have over 100 guests staying with the hotel that night and he would did not appreciate our business. - My uncle booked online for a rate and had a confirmation email but was told a rate $145 higher than what he booked at. The hotel manager would not honour his booking and dismissed him. - We requested that the rooms get cleaned after the bride and groom get ready in them so the families can stay the night. The rooms were not cleaned and we got a refund and drunken family members slept in the hallways that were cleaner than the rooms. - Hotel has a weird “eco-mode” at night. The lights shut off, including the bathroom, if they don’t detect movement. There is no way to turn this off. I took a shower at 11 PM and had to navigate my way around the room to turn the lights back on 4 different times which almost flooded the room. Other guests complained that they couldn’t undress in time for bed before the lights switched off.

I am a frequent traveler, I spend 2/3 of the year in a hotel. This is an excellent place to stay. Star employee every time I come here though….It’s Maggie. She goes out of her way to be helpful, she’s always super cheerful and positive. She makes the stay that much more pleasant. The gentleman that takes care of the breakfast is a close runner up. I didn’t catch his name, as I’m still trying to get my name straight in the morning. But he’s very polite and friendly in the morning and just makes you feel genuinely welcome. Hang on to these two! Very nice rooms. Well kept, spacious. The pantry has plenty of snacks and beverages. It’s centrally located to lots of restaurants etc for dining options. Highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful hotel! Amazing experience. They let us have a let checkout no charge. Amazing rooms and amenities inside the room with stove and full fridge with dishwasher. Definitely would recommend and if you’re in for a late night snack you can buy at the lobby! Or food a McDonald’s and timmies near buy for a walk or drive late night but many restaurants in the area to choose from for dinner. Thank you for helping me make my birthday celebration great!

HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE~! I rented a studio suite for 7 days. They did NOT TELL me that they were charging my card a room deposit of $1138!!!!!!!!! I went to make a purchase and that travel account was almost empty. I did not find this out until I was leaving, and it left me shorthanded. I called Element and they said "it's standard procedure". When did I sign for this???? (I booked this through Priceline). I gave my card a check in and they ran this CHARGE without me authorizing it. I paid $2100 for a 7 day studio suite by my credit card was hit for $3300. NEVER AGAIN. BEWARE~!

The worse experience in Canada in this hotel!! The room is hot, the shower didn't work. Then, they moved us to another room, the shower have the same problems. Plus it's not clean. The management is not professional and rude. Never stay there again!!

I've been staying with this hotel for years now, week after week. The front desk staff and generally comfortable rooms, with the exception of few bumpy stays, are truly what keeps me at this hotel. Mark, the front desk manager is top notch and knows how to take care of loyal guests. Claudio, who also works at the front desk, is always professional and very welcoming. Decent pricing and nice rooms are something anyone can get for a good price, so long as there's volume; the staff are who will keep the guests coming. They are who make hotels a second home. Mark, Claudio, Eunice, Michael are who make the Element a second home for me.

I stayed here for a couple nights with my wife and the rooms were not that clean but the customer service from the breakfast staff was amazing! Every morning they would greet us and their breakfast was really good with a lot of options. One lady named Hassina had the best personality with the guests and wonderful customer service, she really made us feel welcomed.

I don’t ever leave reviews but this stay warrants one. Terrible experience. My husband and I stayed for 3 nights during our wedding, and not once was the room cleaned despite asking reception multiple times for housekeeping. The only service they provided was clean towels, but only after numerous requests. Furthermore, the water temperature in the shower was cold. Despite us calling reception multiple times daily to have it fixed, not once did they bother. It gets worse - the blinds didn’t close properly. Despite us calling reception multiple times daily to have it fixed, not once did they bother to fix it. Matter of fact, I personally went up to the reception and told them the issues. Again, nothing was serviced. Finally, since we kept calling asking for these issues to be resolved, they cut off the phone line, thus making me call from my personal phone to ask for these issues to be resolved. And finally, once my husband left a review, the manager was so fast to email and ask why our experience was rated so low. It’s been almost three months and no reply from the manager addressing any of the concerns stated above. For a fancy hotel, they have poor service and don’t value their customers. Save your money and book somewhere else.

The room was decent - however the customer service at the front desk was absolutely disgusting. The girl who worked the night of my stay was extremely rude and the things that she said I am surprised she is still employed… but that just shows the type of management at the place. Will not stay here again unfortunately.

Checked in because they had a bigger kitchenette. Got to the room and it was not cleaned at all. Also requested two beds and got a king. Lots of funky smells in the hallways and room as well.

They don't have a legit lost and found. Spoke to front desk and got someone to check the room within 4hrs of checking out. (When I realized I forgot them). Extremely disappointed, because I'm 200% sure one of the room attendants took them home.

  • 4/5 Mary H. 1 year ago on Google
The hotel itself is great. The rooms have functioning kitchens in them, depending on the size of rooms booked. One drawback is that even though you book an early check in time online, it might not be guaranteed. We booked a block of rooms for our wedding guests, and unfortunately the check in time was the same as our wedding ceremony, and our guests could not be accommodated to check in early. Eventhough I arrived slightly after the check in time, I still had to wait at least another 20 minutes for our rooms to be ready. I'm sure most hotels are the same when it comes to check in times, but when you have guests coming for your wedding and they are unable to check in beforehand to get ready, it's quite an inconvenience. There is a buffet style breakfast served in the lobby, which had a grear variety of food. The hotel and rooms are clean and the hotel itself is lovely. The only reason I did not give this hotel a five star is due to the check in time inconvenience, and the lack of accommodating our guests.

Booked a hotel block for my wedding and there was a massive miscommunication and we ended up being charged for 2 rooms on our wedding night. Tried to call and reason with them, see if we could get some sort of refund and they couldn't help us. It was very disappointing. The actual room was nice though.
