Had the chance to go in here alone last month and it was awesome. Was meaning to leave a review but only getting to it now. Food was really good. Had the classic breakfast and everything came out just the way I like em. Portions are substantial and the home fries are bomb. Only knock is the limited space in this location but not their fault on that one. Also, the staff is awesome. Has that local diner feel but energetic and vibrant. Recommend for breakfast/brunch. Prices are reasonable.

I love this place. Came here for the first time, the service was excellent. Everyone was kind. The food was amazing (especially for the price). They definitely use butter to cook their eggs. The cola they have is in a bottle. I recommend going here to start your day right 😁☺️

I had the pleasure of visiting this location this morning with my husband as we were in the area and we decided to come try the breakfast. We both really enjoyed our meals as they were full of flavour with quite large portions. I wasn’t a fan of the Boom Frites as they reminded me too much of wedges but I’ll just order something different next time. After our meals we decided to try the pancakes and waffles and they definitely did not disappoint! We will definitely be back!!

A greasy spoon in Vellore Woods that is not really greasy, instead, it is clean, has good service and offers unique breakfast choices balancing out the traditional plates of pancakes or eggs, ham, bacon, and toast. Coffee is good too, not watered down. Decent pricing. Even has a small patio area.

Neighborhood brunch spot, servers were very nice and attentive. Premise was clean and we were promptly seated. Food took extremely long to come out, 28 minutes, too long for comfort. The omelette and pancakes 5/5, beverages 5/5, will recommend. Grilled cheese and huevos burrito 2/5 will not recommend.

Visited here with my wife and loved every bit of the experience. A lovely breakfast restaurant that serves a great breakfast. I didn’t like the fact that they served potato wedges instead of the traditional home fries. The servers were very nice and attended to the table to make sure we had everything we needed. I ordered waffles. They were a little dry and not scrumptious. Should have asked for whipped cream..Service was friendly but slow for sparse customers. My bill didn't come and I had to seek out server to pay and received little attention during meal which was just passable. Price was reasonable but in my humble opinion I will not go back if I have a desire for waffles.

The Chik-A-Dilla was delicious! Shout out to Chef Tols, she makes amazing brunch meals ❤️❤️ I really loved this place, the service is great and the waiters are super friendly.

Breakfast is my favourite part of the day, so if the food is not good, it’ll ruin my mood. This was my first time going to Boom after a quick google search for breakfast food in the area. From the google reviews and a quick browse of their online menu made it a breakfast contender. I had called ahead to see if they had chocolate chip pancakes because of the huge craving I had for it. The woman who answered the phone was very friendly and assured me that they did indeed have chocolate chip pancakes. When I walked in, I was instantly greeted by a man behind the counter, who smiled and led me to a table towards the back. The place was almost full around 12 which I took to be a good thing. The table and utensils were very clean and they were playing some fun old school music. The waitress who served me was the one who answered the phone and was helpful with helping me decide how to order my chocolate chip pancakes. At first, I thought she was pitying me because I was eating alone, but she seemed genuinely nice, and I really appreciated it. I can only imagine what she thought of my bed head and dry face. Any ways, the pancakes were good at first but not my favourite. Reasonable priced though and great mimosa. Maybe less flour and more chocolate chips. Cant wait to try other things on their menu.

I came here with my friends for breakfast. I didn't like my food, I told them and they took it away which was completely fine. I had maybe 2/3 bites of it at most. When we were done eating our server comes up to us and tells us that their system is down and "I hope you guys can pay in cash" AFTER we finished our food. No one carries cash anymore bc of covid. So we had to wait another 30 mins to leave so they could reboot the system. When we were finally paying the server told me I was gonna have to pay for my whole plate even though I didn't eat it. After arguing the most I got was a 50% discount. Worst customer service and manners i've ever experienced. Shocking how grown women feel they can talk to younger kids. Every employee we experienced had an attitude towards us and was extremely rude. Never coming back again.

I came to boom with a colleague and we had a great time! I ordered the chick a dilla and she ordered the blueberry pancakes and both dishes were delicious! The service was exactly what you'd expect from a diner type restaurant - friendly and casual. Would highly recommend if you're looking to give a new breakfast place a try

I have never had to request poached eggs when ordering eggs Florentine or Benedict. At Boom, you automatically get scrambled eggs unless you specify poached eggs! For a breakfast place, you should be experts! Scrambled eggs with eggs Florentine?? Shame on you Boom!

Breakfast was awesome. Then the storm hit..... The staff did what they could but the power was not coming back on. 💯 effort!!!!

Nobody greeted us when we came in. My wife and I and our 2 small children. Took 5 minutes of just standing there before someone came up and took us to a table, several tables were open. Took another 10 min to order. No water offered. Coffee and smoothies are usually brought to the table shortly after ordering, not here. It wasn't until my wife and I both stared at our server and that she understood we were not impressed. She then proceeded to only bring the smoothies for the kids and they were both incorrect. It was at that point that we decided to just leave and will not be returning. Another family that just sat down also decided to leave as we got up. Wasted more than 30 min here. This was our first and last visit. I sincerely question the authenticity of all the positive reviews for this place. It wasn't even close to being busy so I cannot imagine what service is like when they are busy.

Came to Booms for Brunch, but ended up just ordering breakfast items. Place was clean and friendly staff with lots of parking space available in front of Booms. The food was quick and tasted good. We would visit again.

Great place for a quick bite. The food was very fresh and delicious, and the coffee was bottomless. Pretty clean and nice space. Friendly staff. The prices are slightly higher than the average, but not by much. I enjoyed my brunch and experience at Boom Breakfast.

A four + star experience. Food was delicious, great service, loved the large tented outdoor patio. Perfect place for a breakfast gathering for our family. Lots of variety too!!

Breakfast here is delightful and I always get great service. We heard of this spot as our daycare is in the same plaza. So why the low review? The folks working here drive like maniacs! I was reversing into a parking spot with a TWO year old in the car and a psycho working at boom drove BEHIND me because they couldn’t wait 10 seconds for me to reverse into my spot. I know they’re from boom because I saw them drive up and open the restaurant. I didn’t approach them as to not create a confrontation. The fact that employees here would drive this recklessly while knowing they share a parking lot with a daycare is completely unacceptable. How little is my daughter’s life worth to you?

Solid breakfast spot at a reasonable price. Food quality was very good, but took a bit of time to arrive. Wait staff was extremely good and attentive despite being quite busy.

Softest eggs I’ve had in a while

I arranged an outdoor meeting for work a week ago Wednesday. Warm welcoming approach from staff, thorough service with a smile and the food was outstanding! Oh Canada breakfast was my favourite! People I held a meeting with are definitely returning! Thank you Connie & BOOM staff!

Service was horrible. There were empty tables, but also a 35-40 minute wait. It wasn't for social distancing. Just no staff paid attention. We kept being told 2 more minutes and nothing. We walked away. They were catering to a group of 30 people who were not there yet. Bad attitude from the manager. Apparently he doesn't care about the paying customer. Best choice to leave had a great brunch at the Trio Restaurant.

I had brunch with a few friends at the Vaughan branch this past weekend and I had such a nice time. The staff were so polite and friendly. They were also clean and made us feel very relaxed. I’ll definitely be going back. If you’re ever in doubt, make sure you order the chick - a - dillas! They’re so yummy!

I was at your restaurant on Tuesday and had such a wonderful experience. It was so amazing to be greeted by Connie, so pleasant and professional. We were served by Katrina, very accommodating and knowledgeable. The food was delicious, atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. We can’t wait to return. Great job Boom Breakfast!!
