If you are looking to host an intimate or grand event. STOP looking. This place has EVERYTHING and more. First off, they welcome you like family. The level of service they provide is above and beyond - I am not kidding. Kevin, one of the floor managers that looked after us, was like a dear friend. Working with him was a real pleasure. Then, the owner, Patricia, graced us with her presence -- personally wanting to see my family and I were enjoying ourselves. Second, the food was INCREDIBLE! Like, oh my. In fact, one our guests just told us that she is now going to be planning an event with them soon. My husband and I will be going back again for an intimate dinner as well. Lastly, the ambiance. When you walk in --it almost feels like everything inside is just glowing. There is a sense of romance in the air. Chandeliers, candles, high quality white linen --just beautiful. What made it so easy for me to plan my event, which was my in-laws 50th Wedding Anniversary dinner, they also had a décor centre where you are able to rent things including flower arrangements and balloons. So glad my mother-in-law suggested this place. She found this place through a friend who also had a party there. Now, one of our guests want to host a party there. So, check them out. You and your guests will have a great time!! The videos I have attached will show you how our table was set. This was on their second floor balcony (VIP section). We had the place all to ourselves. You can host up to 50 guests here I believe. We were only 18 family members last night. Had the entire space to ourselves. I just hosted my engagement party here and Castello ristorante went above and beyond to make everything perfect. Rudina, our head waitress and Kevin the manager were always available for whatever we needed. The food was very authentic Italian and the gnocchi in particular was delicious. Thank you Castello Ristorante for helping us host such a wonderful party!!

I'm a pretty easy guy to please but this restaurant just flopped on all aspects. We came as a large party (14 people) the other week and nobody left happy. Service was so incredibly slow, it took an hour in between each serving of our initial drinks, then antipasto, and entrees. Nearly 3 hours for a fairly simple dinner is flat out ridiculous. We all agreed to not stay for dessert and get out of there as soon as we could. The place is loud, really loud. One of our older members ended up with a pounding headache and had to periodically go outside to take a break from the noise. The food itself is nothing to write home about. Antipasto was good, not amazing. The entrees were all over the place. One pizza was undercooked and still had raw flour, another was burnt and super crispy. An order of risotto was basically just rice, not creamy, not cheesey, just rice. Steaks were way to salty, pasta was just meh. I had the ossobuco, which was cooked well and tender, but was so bland. At around $100 a head plus an automatic 18% tip for mediocre service and food just isn't worth it at all.

This restaurant was not equipped to handle multiple parties. My party arrived at 6:15 for our 6:30 reservation. We got our main courses at 9pm exactly. 6:15 to 9:00!!! And we finished our meals in 20 minutes, desperate to get out of there. We also had to go through the annoying process of 'preordering' our appetizers, which didn't make a single difference since they arrived after 7pm. Don't we do that so we can start eating faster? And leave the restaurant sooner? Clearly not at this place. The noise level was atrocious and unrelenting, there was no sound proofing done in this place whatsoever. The chairs were uncomfortable (and we had to sit for almost 3 hours), and there was nowhere to hang our coats. The appetizers were good (when they finally arrived). The steak was not worth the money. The risotto was not cooked to risotto, and was instead just rice. The bread (that we finally got after sitting for 30 minutes) was burnt at the top, but also cold? I would not recommend this restaurant.

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! Our server was fantastic. Natalia took care of us all the way. Another great thing was that every employee who made eye contact with you smiled. I love that. The food was fresh, rmtasty, and so delicious. This was our first time, and we will definitely be back again and again. I loved the atmosphere. The washrooms were so clean and love all the mirrors!

Nothing beats having comfort food this time ARANcini😌 We got a couple of their dishes to try. Pappardelle Bolognese came in the chewiest Pappardelle, tossed in a slow cooked Tomato based Veal Meat Sauce, loved it! Arancini were Panko Crusted Risotto Balls served on a Tomato Sauce, the Risotto was so Cheesy, fried to a golden crust, so BOMB! Alle Romana was a Basil Pesto based Pizza topped with Mozzarella, Arugula, Prosciutto, and shaved Parmigiano, the Dough was crispy, airy, such a gorgeous Pizza! Calamari Fritti was so perfectly crispy, it came in a good portion, the Calypso Sauce it came with went really well with the Calamari, an AMAZING appetizer!

The food portion is small for its price. The presentation is more like a cafeteria style. The place is not elegant, as I thought. It looks like there's a construction going on. I don't understand the divider curtains or whatever canopy-like hanging in between the section of the dining area. Location and parking are very good as the business is located in a non-busy plaza.

Incredibly slow service, took 3+ hours to finish meal. Restaurant wasn't busy, yet there was massive delays on all orders. Was pushed into ordering bottled water, turns out they were about $15/bottle and we ordered several, absolute price gouging. The only positive is the food was decent when it finally arrived.

Booked this restaurant on opentable and was pleasantly surprised. What a beautiful restaurant. The decor is elegant and perfect for any special occasion. The wait staff were helpful and eager to ensure our meal and overall experience was perfect. We couldn't decide what to order, so we ordered a bunch of entrees and appetizers to share. Every dish was delicious! Will definitely be back and highly recommended.

I do not recommend this restaurant for several reasons! The primary reason is that the price quality is too high! This is not a cheap restaurant at all; it is on the expensive side! However the food quality did not meet our expectation (and the price point) The pizza is soggy, and it is a shortbread, not a pizza! The charcuterie board is made from packaged cured meat and cheese from a supermarket! The veal is over-cooked and tasted like a piece of stale / wet cardboard! And similar to other reviews, the service is slow!

The best shower I have ever been to. Castello restaurant has set the bar extremely high for any bridal showers to come! I chose this restaurant for more than one reason. The decor was absolutely beautiful, the food is just incredible, and energy from the staff was always so happy and positive. What more could a bride want. Every request I asked for was happily accommodated. The menu was OUT OF THIS WORLD. Castello hosted for me our bridal shower which was also my Toronto bound wedding event . With 2 signature drinks ( alcoholic and non) , with decor and seating which made everyone feel involved. It was intimate . Josie and Patty were so amazing and patient making sure every little detail was met and mattered. My day was Perfect. The day of, Kevin and the entire staff made sure, I , as the bride , had no worry in the world. Every single second I took looking away or looking for something right away I was asked what I needed.. they did everything from beginning to end making the day so easy. It went by too fast. They even allowed me to play the music I wanted . Thank you ‘ My guests were extremely impressed with the entire menu, the service, quality of the food, quantity of the food, and even the fact that they had individual to go containers. I don’t know why anyone would choose to go anywhere else! Looking very forward to my next event.! Thank you FOR EVERYTHING !!! I've been here multiple times, have always loved the food and the service. I believe it is in my top 3 with places to eat (food wise) because the food here is delicious! The service is solid but nothing really ever stands out to me about service when dining. However, out of all the times I've dined, the server named Nayab was the one that exceeded all expectations. It started off with her enthusiasm and care for us to receive our best experience dining. It continued with her great conversation every time she would come back to our table. Although it was really busy, she never seemed to be in a rush to cater to our table and still managed to periodically check up on us. It was by far my favourite experience there and looking forward to coming back again!

Visited recently with some friends. It was our first time there, and or the price, I would probably try another Italian restaurant next time. The calamari was typical deep fried, the mussels were undercooked, and the pastas were simple. The service was good, they were polite and attentive.

First time at Castello and received such great service and hospitality. The dishes that were served was to our expectations and quality. I received such unique plating that i have never seen anywhere else and to be greeted by the owner was beyond this word. Bar far the best Italian dining experience. I highly recommend this beautiful high quality dining experience. a+ in my books!

I just had my bridal shower here this weekend and I had an excellent experience with Castello. The venue is lovely, but more importantly, the food and service was great! In particular I want to acknowledge Kevin and Rodina’s excellent care and attention - they were both so kind and helpful and made sure my guests had everything they needed. I’m very happy with Castello and would definitely come back for dinner and more parties!

From Start to Finish, our Experience with Castello has been PHENOMENAL!! We were looking for a venue for our DD 1st Communion and from FIRST IMPRESSIONS with the owner Patti and the restaurant itself…booked! We told Patti the day needed to be sweet and special for our girl and boy did she deliver! From giving us the VIP section so our youngest whose on the spectrum has her safe space, from ALWAYS ANSWERING AND RETURNING my phone calls, from decorating our space with extra touch of sweetness..Patti and Josie held true to their promise to make it all about our DD and for that we are forever grateful! Now the food and service, these also needs to be mentioned! My nephew has severe anaphylaxis to nuts and eggs and the amazing manager working that night, KEVIN, went above and beyond and had a replacement meal made! He just made it happen and that was awesome! Kevin took the time to listen to the mom on what my nephew can have (and the place was soooo busy that night yet he took the time!!) And the food was ready with everyone’s meal so my nephew ate with us! And our servers Lara and crew were continually attentive and asking if we needed anything and if everything was to our satisfaction! Not everyone talks to a kid on the spectrum and Lara took the time to acknowledge my little one and talk to her and interact with her and for me that was GOLDEN so thank you Lara! Last, the food! It was perfect from the antipasto, pasta selection and our main course which was chicken..delicious! Everyone was full! And happy! And spoiled! Until the next event, Castello ❤️❤️.

Came here last night for my friend’s birthday and had a great time. Massimo was our server and did an amazing job, he was always ahead of the game and made us laugh a bunch too. The food was good and came quickly. We were there for over 2 hours and never felt rushed to leave. Will be coming back and recommend!

Went here last night for my best friends birthday. There was 14 of us and we had a small private section. Upon arrival at 7pm, I had asked the sever to bring us water and bread (I wasn’t feeling well and just needed something to help settle). The server did not bring the bread and only brought a small jar of water for the entire table and used the excuse that it was super busy. Which it clearly was, but then don’t accept any more reservations or guests. Or just up your staff? So around 730-745 the server started taking drink orders. Up to this point, I asked for bread and water 3x. Nothing. The server was obviously overwhelmed with such a big group. Fair enough, but either ask for help, or ask for names of the bills to make it easier - So now it’s time for orders around 8:15 after the drinks finally come, we ordered. The server asked us to order apps and mains at the same time. I ordered Gnocchi with Rosé sauce and reminded her AGAIN just for some plain bread …. Not only did we wait an hour and fifteen minutes for our dinner, but of course my meal was made incorrectly. The waitress KNEW this was a mistake. She RUDLY asked if I wanted to change my meal and I was too uncomfortable with her to say yes. So I accepted the meal - didn’t eat much of it. It has pancetta in it .. and peas … and it was a red tomato sauce (see image) Was not good. The server saw that I was unhappy and told me she would take it off my bill - thanks - but then had the nerve to say to my husband “well I asked if she wanted a change”. Just completely rude and inappropriate. The service is horrible and the food was just not good. Don’t waste your time or your money. *** Separate Situation September 2021 The very first time we had been here was for my engagement party in September 2021. It was for 60 guests and it started at 430. When we arrived around 415 to set up, we saw that the party before ours was still going on. We had gusts arrive at our party at 430 and tables were NOT ready, the table cloths were dirty, it was EXTREMELY loud that the guests couldn’t hear each other. The staff said it was our fault that we were early - but the contract said that the party STARTED at 430. Meaning, tables should be ready, it should have been set up. Was a mess. It was just too packed, we were so close to each other and yet we still couldn’t hear each other speak .. and the service was VERY slow. It was quite expensive so we did expect high end quality - We were not happy with the service or the atmosphere - food was alright 3/10 at best.. We asked for a specific order for my grandmother and it came cold dry and was overall incorrect. For large parties (or medium size birthday parties..), we do not recommend restaurant!!!!!!!!

Very good restaurant, service is great, food is so tasteful and generous, clean bathrooms, but be ready to pay a little extra than usual, I can’t but say it’s worth it. The setting of the restaurant is so nice, gives you the cozy feeling. The menu have a wide range and smart chosen variety of the Italian kitchen. My experience at this place was so good.

We had a great experience at Castello for my husband's birthday. As soon as I told them we were celebrating his birthday, the waiter (Anthony) and manager (Kevin) were amazing and made it a very memorable experience. The food and drinks were fantastic and the service was impeccable. They were also very friendly with my children. We will definitely be going there again in the near future. Thank you Kevin and staff. Highly recommended.

Our night started out really nice. We were a party of 9, ambiance was beautiful and appetizers were good. Once it got busy our server was barley at our table. Drink service was awful, we had to remind her constantly of our orders. Food running wasn’t coordinated properly, some of us had finished our main courses while others were just getting started. I had ordered the salmon, which was quite underwhelming. The portions were pretty small, I got two potatoes and few greens on the side. The server never checked in with us, we constantly had to call her over. Maybe they had an off night but I don’t see myself coming back here.

Amazing atmosphere, delicious food and amazing drinks! Our server Ava made great suggestions! Highly recommend the Yorkville Affair drink! Kevin was very accommodating with our reservations and making sure we were well taken care of. Will definitely be back again!!

Delicious, romantic, family approach. Excellent service, I never been in Italy, but I was feeling that spirit everywhere in this place . Open concept, lots of room to give you privacy. Professional staff and very quick service. Food was excellent and served like art dishes. Thank you for the owner Patricia for the personal approach. Decently will be back!

Amazing food and service. The quantities were amazing and the prices were average. Their cocktail drinks were hit or miss but overall the food, apps and mains, were great.

Last Saturday we hosted my mother in laws 65th birthday here and working with Patricia and Kevin was a dream. The staff was so attentive, food was delicious. We were in a pickle and in 3 days Patricia helped us and accompanied our large group, everything was absolute perfection. We can’t wait to go back for dinner one night soon
