We had a pleasant lunch at Denny’s. The restaurant was packed when we visited but staff did a great job moving us and prior guest groups to tables. We came here for the typical breakfast fare but I was surprised by the pleasantness of the staff and service. It’s also fun that cat robots bring out plates. We enjoyed the Grand Slam breakfast, along with the Santa Fe Sizzlin’ Skillet meal and Lava Cake Skillet for dessert & hot chocolate. The best part of the visit was the service. Coffee was refilled and our waiter Aney was pleasant checking on us throughout the meal. Well visit again.

Unfortunate experience at this location. The table and seats were dirty. (There were plenty of other tables available, but we were asked to sit there). The waitress noticed how poorly "cleaned" it was and wiped it down out of embarrassment. Not sure how a tiny cup of mayonnaise is $1.59. The side order of fruit is incredibly small for $7. The toast that is included with my meal was rock solid. I kindly asked the waitress for fresh bread. Within minutes I receive "fresh" bread with MOLD on it! I understand mistakes can happen but, the mold was clearly visible and no one noticed... I call on another waitress and showed her the molded bread, she ensured us that the kitchen staff and our waitress will know of this issue. Unfortunately, they failed to make up for their mistakes and once again for the third time served me MOLDED BREAD. At this point, I've lost my appetite and could not understand why we were treated so lightly without a care. The manager who just began her shift was quick with excuses and the only solution she came up with was to discount my coffee!? Absolutely horrendous food and service at this location. A completely different experience from what I'm accustomed to and know from Denny's. **Sucks I was only to get a picture of one of the molded breads.

Came for breakfast, our server Angela was very friendly and attentive. Overall great experience and very clean would be coming back.

Good food 4/5 and great service 5/5. The waitress was very found of our kids and gave us great ideas like to split 1 Shake into 2 for the little ones. Will comeback.

Started with a not very desirable experience at 6am for breakfast with a new server but was then redeemed by a more experienced server. Food was great, just like how I remembered it. Portion seemed a bit smaller than before though. Our next experienced server who took over after was great. Angela took care of us and was attentive of our needs.

We enjoyed the blue berries pancakes too with strawberries, banana and ice creams. The waiter was very accommodating. Food was great.

I love coming here for late night food. Shivani was very polite and her service was top notch. She even suggested some dishes for us, which were really good! Do visit Denny's Rutherford

Gotta love a spot that's always open! You can always count on this beauty chain for good food at any hour and to have sit down service st anytime is very rare too! The serving sizes are always more that adequate and the munu is huge, always something new to try. The signature slams are pretty good and interesting, skillets are a speciality and of course get the hush puppy things for dessert they are are like fried balls with icing sugar and not too bad like a warm better tidbit. Lots of healthy options too!

Four stars for food. Five stars for customer service and cleanness. They do clean and sanitize all the tables after each service. Impressed with how they clean and cover the baby chair.Thank you all for keeping us safe at this difficult time. Food is prepared on order and is made fresh and hot.

Boy oh boy. Normally I'm a waffle or crepe kind of girl but I was really craving an omelette and convinced my boyfriend to get one too. He had steak and cheese with hash browns and I had the loaded veggie with seasoned fries. Absolutely delicious! Our server was a sweetheart too and very nice. Cheers to good food. 🥂

Great place regardless the location. Just found that the portion sizes were a bit smaller at this location. But staff was really nice and helpful. And food was still very good.

Went to Denny’s on my birthday for the free build your own grand slam. It was a great time. The service was fast and friendly (thanks Nav) and the food was good. Denny’s has many affordable breakfast options.

Good service, good price. The servings are just about right - not too overwhelming like other breakfast places but it seemed too basic/ordinary. It doesn't have a unique vibe where you can say, "Ah, this is what I like about Denny's". If you're just looking for a place to eat because you're hungry, this is an okay place to go. If you're a foodie and would like to try something different, you would want to try somewhere else.

The location is very cozy, with a very authentic vibe to the building. Their food is alright. The pancakes are where denny's shins the best for breakfast, and the employee named khushi is very friendly and helpful. Overall, it's worth going here every now and again.

Came for my birthday. The food was good, but the sausages were too salty. Our server was great. Overall good experience.

This place is a very nice brunch spot. The place is clean and spacious. The staff are super friendly and fast. Jen was the staff who helped us and was super frinedly and fast. Weekends are super busy but staff are super responsive. Food is also tasty and fresh. Breakfast options are really tasty and delicious.

The food and service were excellent. Our server was Angela and she was very kind, answered all of our questions, and regularly checked in on us for drinks and more. Overall, Angela went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. We ordered pancakes, sausage, eggs, and hash browns. All tasted amazing for a great price.

The staff were very accommodating as we came in a big group. The food was ok, and the only thing that I would recommend is to have their payment system fixed. Because we were a large group, we had to wait for LONG time to pay as they could only do one transaction for the whole restaurant at a time. Otherwise, friendly service and very accommodating.

Should also Offer menu ! Not just point at the app code. ( Old school ) still is to be respected. After all , it has worked for more than a decade !

Food is great but it seems as though they are usually understaffed as it takes longer than it should to get your food. The patio area could use a little more attention (some garbage on the floor, lots of cigarette butts from the adjoining parking lot, poor hanging plants were neglect, bone dry and dead, etc). If they focus on at least asking for drinks within a couple minutes of sitting and getting drinks out right away then customers will be more satisfied.

Not the best care for a customer. But I give 4 Star due to stress because of pandemic. Food was good. Nice choice.

Eggs benedict is amazing at Denny's and prices are very reasonable. They need to work on their uber menu, because the egg's benedict is not on there.

My partner and I are from northern Ontario, so this was our first time going to a Denny’s, it was so good! The waffles and pancakes are unreal! Our food came out very quick, and the service was wonderful!

Haven't been to one in a long time, good experience. Nina is very king and courteous. Pancakes with blueberries added are 10/10 the rest is good for the price

I always go to Denny’s when I travel to Canada and it never disappoints. You know what you get and everything is delicious! Also the personeel there is so friendly and they serve quite fast. Decent prices for big portions of tasty food. I would say breakfast is their strong suit

Have been in restaurant only once but ordered delivery more than once and will not again. Food inconsistent in temperature in the same order, as in the eggs were still warm but the sausages ice cold, on the same plate. Not expecting the food to be hot as in restaurant with delivery but the sausages were obviously cooked much earlier, must have been already cold when added to order. They also cannot follow instructions and no matter that you request condiments they do not include them. We had two orders of toast and they were both dry - and no butter or jam was included even though it was requested. Also ordered tea and they did not include the requested packets of sugar. It may seem like small things and nitpicking but it’s like ordering pancakes and not getting any syrup (which they have also done in the past btw). English muffins are not enjoyable dry (also barely toasted), neither is tea enjoyable with no sugar. The inconsistency of food temperature is not enjoyable either. Won’t waste my money here again

Good service but was disappointed with food. Our salmon was over cooked and the quantity of hash brown and milk shake was less compared to other Denny’s we have visited. We love there pancakes but that also looked small in size.

Found the value decent but serving staff a little competitive with each other and they do not care about other tables that they do not serve. I was not happy about asking a server for water only to here the cringe worthy “I’ll go get your server” horrible to hear that. Please improve the team work and serving dynamics before my next experience or it will be my last. The food and value saved you from zero stars this time please make sure you improve upon the service and serving staff.

The food is average. My son had a what we call here the " big breakie." The middle bacon was tasteless, and so was the hash brown. But the sausage was good and the service was good too. My son loved how the food was served by a robot!

The only positive remarkable thing about this Denny's is that they have a robot that delivers meals. On the downside, the toast and english muffins were small and dried out; the over medium eggs were completely solid; and the bacon was skimpy and tasteless. The worst thing though was that our waiter couldn't be bothered to take 5 seconds to listen to us. We would start to mention something and he'd turn and leave before we even finished.

This Dennys was so awesome. My son's leg is fractured, so he's Inna cast with krutches. The hostess gave us the closest table to the door so he didn't have to walk far. He's only 5 so krutches are hard for him. That was so appreciated. The food was amazing. Looked as good as the picture and tasted even better. We will go back. The staff was just a breath of fresh air. It's nice to see a restaurant appreciate their customers as people and not as a dollar. Thanks Vaughn location. You were spectacular.

Servers were professional and efficient. Good quality food at a decent price. No soup available. 😢 Not crazy about the robot bringing dishes to the table.

Small portions and slow services. Visited this place on a weekend close to noon, we were seated at our table for 10 mins, and no one even came to ask if we wanted some water or coffee. During that 10 min at least four or five waiters/waitresses walked by our table but didn't even lay an eye on us. Finally we had to wave to two of the waiters/waitresses to get our waiter to come. Portions were relatively small compared to Cora for similar price.

Went home to see an overcharge on my bill. Not the type of person to complain about a bill. So we just paid and will probably never come back. Came on Tuesday. Advertisement said kids eat free and they scanned us. I don't believe human error exists for a promotion when multiple families there for the same promotion. Being deceitful on the pricing, what else are they doing that don't know about. Easier to boycott the place than never come back as you need to trust the people who serve you food.
