Typical breakfast place. Good variety of menu options. Eggs were cooked to my liking, over medium, not many get it correct. French Toast was also pretty good. Bacon, salty (usually low quality Bacon being used). Service was very efficient and friendly. Restaurant was clean and quiet.

Cozy breakfast spot with great food and friendly wait staff! The food is a little higher priced than a few of my other breakfast spots but all in all a pretty good place to go. The omelette was hearty and made with 6 eggs. The veggies were fresh and the bacon and scrambled eggs went down quick for my 3 year old. So that’s a good sign of yummy food!!!

This place is perfect for brunch. Ambience is nice ,quiet and cozy. Reasonable prices, alot of options, good customer service, and ofcourse delicious and fresh food. You get coffee refill😀

The coffee was great! The food was delicious! We cleaned our plates! I recommend the French toast with sausages and eggs. My kids demolished the fruit waffles and chocolate chip pancakes.

Fast and friendly service Meals served at perfect temp. The salmon dishes were definitely our favourite and reasonably priced. Would go back and try other items 100% Recommend

Just got back from having breakfast there. Food was decent. Coffee isn't the greatest but it's doable. Service was very good - staff was attentive. LOVED that they are vaccinated and enforce vaccination status upon entering. This is worth noting because Sunset wasn't our first stop for breakfast (we like to try different places). Went to Frank's Place first but they don't ask for vaccination status so we left. Easy as that! Sunset Grill is an easy go-to for us. We like it there.

Delicious food. Reasonable price. Excellent service. What else can you ask for? This is a great location. Food came really fast. We were served within less than ten minutes and the place was packed. If you are reading this and is not sure if you should come to eat here, just do it! You won’t regret.

The atmosphere of this place is really clean and cozy, perfect for a breakfast get together , or brunch. the service was quick and our waitress was nice. We had the Three eggs, Blue berry pancakes were nice and fluffy, crispy bacon, and fresh fruits. will definitely come here again.

Great location. I go there almost every Saturday and the service is always great. Price is very reasonable, food has always been made right and they don’t rush you out like some location do.

Need a better waiting area during busy times to be seated. Staff was nice. It was quite busy during my time there and things were a little slower than usual. Understandab. At one point my order of french toast got forgotten about and was finally sent to me cold. I think extra help is needed to make your dining experience better. Good job in any case because the food tasted great.

I was just thrown out and told rudely to wait outside. Never will I spend my money in a place with no customer service skills. It was an Asian lady who rudely greeted us with a long face...If I could give her a 0 I would...

Ate here twice and it seems I gotta wrestle with them to get a few extra condiments. The second time I ate here the home fries tasted pretty dry which could've been because I came after breakfast. I will say though that their service is kind and they're nice people.

30 minute wait time for my takeout order. I ordered the sunset poutine the container is barely even filled. You guys charge 11.99 for this. Updating the review Can y'all season the damn potatoes. Like this was the most bland food I've ever been served.

Food was delicious! It came out very quickly. The staff was attentive and friendly. And they came around often to top up the coffee!

At around 12.30pm, the service was nice, but nothing special... eggs were freshly done, but unfortunately the bacon was already dry after probably sitting heated for hours, potatoes was also stale for a while and uneven salted (like somebody dropped salt on one end and not the rest)... hence the rating of 3* on all points... sorry... hope you're going to do better... good luck! Will visit again in a while

Good food good price.

I went to this location with a friend of mine. We were greeted at first, brought our drinks (my coffee had grinds: would have loved to have to chance to drink my coffee) and menu. After 10 mins, none of the serves acknowledged us and asked if we had placed our order. We ended up leaving. I'm highly disappointed by sunset grill because it's one of my favourite breakfast restaurants. And having worked in the hospitality industry for over 10 years, I don't think any of them would have enjoyed the experience. Please do better.

The food was still. We got 3 eggs, sausage, and bacon. Everything was dried and overcooked. I bought coffee too. I literally threw out the coffee after one sip. It tasted like old hot water. It was the first time I bought something there, and it was really disappointing. The 2 star was because they asked me to wait in my car and brought the food to my car.

Great service all you can drink coffee, a wide menu, if you don't want to cook in the morning, head over Sunset Grill you won't regret it for sure

Went in there the first time and last. waiter was very nice no complaints there. The food was terrible I mentioned it to the chef after paying my bill instead he argued with me. The customer is always right and I would prefer all my food cooked and not partially cooked I only mentioned it to him so I won’t have to write him a bad review but I didn’t like the response I got from him no apology just same old we are the best kind of B.S. I understand you are busy and try to be fast but please don’t neglect the customers I would rather wait for a good cooked meal then to get partially cooked food

Waitress was really nice but the prices have increased and the portions are really small now. Disappointed as Sunset Grill was our favourite breakfast place before COVID.

Really close to the subway station. They open early which is great. I got a waffle which I enjoyed. The waffle was a really good size, I was just surprised that it came with only a waffle and nothing else (besides syrup, of course). I ended up adding fresh strawberries for an additional charge. It’s great that they have two sizes for their chocolate milk too. I have a pretty small appetite and enjoy my food slowly so it’s the perfect option for me. There was a guy and a girl who both helped me they were both really kind and helpful. Very attentive. I heard this place was also known for their good prices. I was surprised when my bill came out to be around 18 bucks after tax and tips for just the waffle, strawberries, and milk. But overall had a great experience!

I’ve always seen Sunset Grill and heard great things about it. I decided to give it a shot to see if it lives up to the hype. Food- 3.5 out of 5 Service-2 out of 5 The food was good, but not great. We ordered the eggs Benedict/Eggs Sunset, corned beef hash, 3 eggs with turkey bacon, pancakes, and home fries. It was just okay and nothing special. I was expecting it to be better than Dennys, but it wasn’t. The corned beef hash was dry and bland, but the turkey bacon was delicious. It’s probably the best turkey bacon we had and the best part of our meal. Everything else was just okay. The staff is nice and friendly, but we had to flag down our server three times since she never came to check on us. I’m not sure if they were short staffed or not, but there were only three other tables present at the time. I don’t think I’ll be returning to Sunset Grill or at least this location…
