One word. Amazing I have been coming for years, and it’s always on point. I have to tell you that, I tried almost everything on The menu... and always get the same orders, as these 2 simple dishes are perfection, others dishes are ok and equivalent to others. My go to dish is the chicken pad Thai and house fried rice. A lot of calories, but it’s just to good.

I have been ordering from Thai Bamboo for the past 3 years and I absolutely LOVE the Pad Thai! I give it a 10/10 5 ⭐️ all day everyday! I am only giving a 4 because I decided to try the black bean tofu and was not a fan of the tofu at all. The sauce was good but the tofu was spongy and mushy (I understand tofu is made this way sometimes) with that being said I will stick to my fav which is the veggie Pad Thai and spring rolls! The service is always great and the atmosphere is welcoming! Thank you! ☺️

We got takeout of Thai Bamboo and it was disappointing. The noodles in the pad thai and pad sew just broke apart when we tried to eat it. Almost as if it was leftovers that were microwaved the next day… the chicken was really dry as well… shrimp was okay though On the positive side, we asked for the thai milk tea to be less sweet and they did that well. Portions were also good.

Absolutely Outstanding Thai! This spot is one of, if not the most authentic Thai restaurant in all of York & Vaughan. Food was amazing. Appetizers were amazing. Chicken Skewers were tender and flavourful. The Fresh spring rolls are really great. The chicken coconut soup was fresh and a solid pick for soup. Entrees were amazing as well. Pad Thai was smoky and was a massive portion. The green curry Chicken was flavourful and authentic. The jungle beef was spicy and a good mix of all. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Overall amazing Thai spot. Highly recommend.

What a blend of freshness and authentic flavours. Loved every dish… How much 2 can eat, I realised this evening… From soups to appetisers, Salad, Main-course and dessert… Not to forget the cocktails… The shrimp appetiser is too good, lip smacking… And soups, licked to the last drop… Amazing food, happy tummy.. Staff is very friendly and courteous… Your requests are gladly taken care of… My only stop for comfort Thai food now…

Single best tasting Pad Thai with chicken I’ve ever had. Incredible flavour. I ordered the “medium spice” and wow did it pack a punch. Thanks for making this the best Pad Thai I’ve had. Wow Jay

Food is excellent. Service is great. Lots of seating. Highly recommended for fine Thai cuisine.

Not delicious and not authentic. What panang curry doesn’t have lime leaf in it, just have too much bamboo shoots and unauthentic zucchini. Very western style and very watery curry. Would never eat here again

Nice spot. Large portion. Welcoming service. Feels like a family owned spot. For 70 bucks I had apps, and a few sharing plates. Will definitely have lunch for 2 later. I will definitely be back

I never have any complaints for this Thai Bamboo for over years and years being a loyal customer! I suggest you guys should try the Nam Kao, it is a special fried rice with super crunchy fried rice bits mixes with raw fermented sour pork and shredded skins, with some green in it and served with dry chilli and a lot of peanuts. (Mine I can’t eat peanut so I ask them remove it for me). Believe me you will say it’s the best fried rice ever in your life, everything - all the ingredients just go together perfectly. Their “special smell” (crab and shrimp paste) papaya salad also can’t be skipped. It is not for everyone since its smell but I guess with Vietnamese people and Thai or Laos, they’ll love it but just think twice when they ask you for the spicy level. The extra spicy level in Thai Bamboo is not a joke, it will make you cry but also can’t stop eating lol I ordered Pineapple curry, I rate it 8/10 If you look close enough in the picture, you’ll see I finished 2 of the Thai ice tea. A small tip that I have for you guys is order a little extra sweet so it will be perfect MUST TRY: their garlic chilli oil

This food is to die for. Been going here more than a decade and have never been dissatisfied. The food is always hot and fresh. Pad Thai and crispy spring rolls with the peanut sauce are a must try! Staff are very friendly and it’s never that long of a wait.

Imagine ordering your food 3 hours early, being told it's ready for pick up, and then waiting another FIFTY FIVE MINUTES for them to make your food, while they insist it's still ready, they're just checking things with no apologies and no acknowledgement for their terrible service and lack of etiquette. Food is good enough, but never dealing with a place as complacent and unprofessional as this again. AND the piece de la resistance? Some of the food was ready so it's now unbearably like warm and wilty. What a waste of an hour and a waste of dinner. You could have had a sit down steak meal and paid your bill before these guys can even take your order, despite placing it four hours ago.

This has got to be my favourite spot for Thai and Laos food! Lots to choose from, reasonably priced and absolutely delicious!! Highly recommend the veggie pad Thai, the house special fried rice and the coconut purple rice with mango for dessert. Also, their hot chili oil is the best!!

My favourite place to eat. Been a loyal customer for over 20 years. It used to be called Bamboo Hit before the name change. Same great food. Favs: pad Thai, fresh spring rolls, chicken salad, Tom yum soup, papaya salad, grilled fish, and lemon grass pork/beef.

We come here all the time to get takeout. It's our favourite place to get pad Thai in North York. Love their hot chili oil, it's really spicy but so addictive. They give you so much pad Thai it can be split for 2 people if you really wanted. The restaurant is a little dated for dining in but if it's good food your looking for than you wouldn't really care.

Food - Thai food at it's best! I go specifically here for one dish, Nam Kao! I brought my friends here and they have enjoy their meal 100%. I highly recommend Nam Kao, and their thai ice tea. Service - Their staff is friendly and professional. I love that they let their staff wear anything. It's a casual vibe here for sure. Make sure you check their hours of operation! Decor - There are Thai art everywhere which I love! Cozy, and a fair amount of setting.

I had the chilli chicken it was tasty but not crispy at all as mentioned on the menu. Along with that it was not chilli at all. It was extremely sweet. If the chilli chicken wasnt so sweet and was spicy & crispy would of been better. Update: called to order a chilli chicken but went to pick up and got a red curry made. Not sure how they mixed up the two. Anyways i was pretty dissatisfied with the red curry. Ive had many, and this was watery & did not have that coconut milk taste. On top of that the chicken had a weird smell. Not sure if i will return. $22 for a red curry and steamed rice i expected it to be at-least decent.
