I have been to three other locations of chuck’s roadhouse and my experience are all positive. But I was hesitated to go to this location because of the reviews. I eventually did and I was disappointed. I have rib eyes at all locations but the ones (we ordered three) and none were as good as the one in Pickering nor even Niagara’s location. We ordered medium rare but one was almost medium well then we asked for a replacement, it came out blue. Overall I still love Chucks but this location has a lower review for a reason. Also the location is very understaffed, I feel bad for the waitress. Price still good.

The worst place to go for ribs. Ribs were burnt dry and hard. When asked for the manager he was the cook. When the manager came out he did not apologize at all and Infact said he was serving them like that all day that people like them burnt. The cops were called because he refused to take it off the bill. $15 ribs and we refused to pay for the UN edible ribs. So it's costing him $15 dollars for a bad review, lost customers and reported him to BBB and reported to their head office 👍

I have been to 6 or 7 locations and this one is by far the worst service. Out of the 5 times we have visited this location only once have we had a regular dining experience. I have disregarded it other times. But this time was a bit ridiculous. The pitcher we ordered smelled slightly and was off in taste. Our server proceeds to tell us that it’s fine. And if we want she will replace 1/2 the pitcher since we had already poured out into our glasses. Although our glasses were still 3/4 full. She called the owner over. Who told us nothing is wrong with it; other customers have been drinking it all day and that we won’t be getting any exchange or other beer and then she walked away. Eventually the server brought us two bottles. What happened to customer service in the HOSPITALITY industry ?

Pretty decent. Stopped here for the 1/2 price apps at 9. The place was basically deserted when we got here, but as soon as we sat down and placed our orders, a crowd of around 30 people showed up at the same time acting obnoxious and holding the door open when it was freezing cold outside. As for the actual food, it was very decent, especially for the price. The service was just ok, they were way understaffed for how many patrons they had at the place. Also paid for an extra shot in my mixed drink, which they never put in, until I called them out on it.

Evidently a difference in service between other franchises. We Read the recent reviews which were not flattering but decided to give this place a chance after our amazing experience at Ajax. Clearly quality of food and service ranks poor at this location. My Cesar was overflowing, there were no coaster nor napkins until asked for. Buffalo chicken quesadilla was ok. We wanted the champion deal on the menu however were informed it was only for takeout. Staff were not as hospitable and vibe was dull. Other locations fair better.

Oh my GOD!!! This place is like no other. The best branch i have been to. Food is superb and the way they cooked our food showed extreme dedication. Also the servant (Apha) was amazing and she looked after us in a professional and friendly way.

Thank you so much to the Chucks staff !!! 10 stars if possible. We were looking for a small restaurant to hold about 20+ people where we can have a few drinks and have some nice food. This happened to fall on the day Rogers had their nationwide outage. The Chucks staff corded off a large section of the restaurant for our group. The (2) waitresses were so very helpful with our constant drink orders, food orders and was accommodating to the size of our group 20+ people. Everything was addressed quickly and accurately. Great job!! This was a retirement party with our office staff and field staff at the Chucks restaurant in Maple. Our long-standing office employee has been with us for 18 years has now retired. We were all sad that he was leaving us, so a retirement party was necessary. We arrived at Chucks around 430pm and left at about 7pm. We got the bill and it was paid in cash with a very very nice tip. Well done to Chucks Franchise and the Chucks staff that night. 10 stars. We will be back again.

Came to the vaughan location for the first. Got seated and placed my order of wings and steak and lobster, 2mins later the wings came out. In my head that's pretty quick. When arrived wings are stale and hard. Seems like they just microwaved it. Once the steak and lobster came they gave us cold lobster and raw steak Poor quality on food need to hire cooks who know what they are doing. Not coming here again. Worst location.

Would I Recommend- ❌️ NO I'm not sure what happened here. My first time ordering delivery from this place and it was absolutely disappointing. 👉🏻What I ordered: 1/2 BBQ Chicken with Fries ⚠️The Problem Esthetically it didn't look so bad but the taste and smell was another story. The chicken tasted unseasoned and boiled with sauce painted on. It was extremely bland, the skin was soggy and there was an overall unpleasant smell. This was definitely not BBQ Chicken!

We ordered ribs and a really great dinner. The half chicken was tasty and had a lot of mildly spiced sauce. Prices were great and food was hot and tasty. Menu is family friendly. The chef was kind and caring.Next time we will try the dessert. I am sure it will be amazing as well.

Always delicious food for a very reasonable price. Drinks are too cheap. Abha was an excellent server and very attentive. The main entree arrived fast though it was not busy. We will be coming back soon.

Super cheap beer and food especially after 9pm. Feel casual and family style. Around 6-8 types of beer on tap. Food is mediocre but for 1/2 price appetizers after 9pm, can’t complain. The washroom is a bit smelly and dated, with a few big mosquitoes, not too acceptable for my standard. Will still come back for drinks.

Pretty decent place. Pramath was our server and he was very great and fast with our requests. The food came very fast. Nachos was amazing and the ribs was very well cooked.

Good steaks cooked perfectly but the portions are small. Lobster and fries was dry and over cooked. The Caesar salad was delicious. Fairly good location just a bit off Clifton Hill.

I ordered a 7oz sirloin & lobster and substituted for baked potatoes! The food quality was poor. The potato was boiled and not baked. I called back the server and asked for fries! When the bill came it had the potato on it and I ask for it to be removed since it was not baked and it was not eaten! The female manager, a stout, Indian lady came and told me that this is not a “TASTE TESTER RESTAURANT” which is beyond disrespectful and down right rude! It was not even about the $1.50 it’s the principle! It something is not what it is or there is a problem fix it! Someone needs to look into management! My first and last time at this restaurant.

The staff was extremely attentive and accommodating for our big group of 20 on a busy Friday night! Pramath was a superstar server and kept us organized, fed and answered any questions we had during our dinner. The food was filling, tasted great and the half appetizers after 9pm was such a good deal! The atmosphere was lively and friendly. We will definitely come back and recommend for any families or groups for an easy night out with good drinks and food!

The food was so delicious! Honestly, the chicken was way better than I expected! Ami was a great server! She was very bubbly and smiley and I truly loved the service and the food and the overall experience here! I don’t often write reviews but I definitely felt this review was warranted!! Would definitely come again!

Hello everyone. Me and my husband just for brunch the server is AMI she very helpful and approachable. The place is clean and the food that I order Sirloin and lobster great food season properly. My husband ordered steak and baked potato he likes it so much. Restaurant is recommendable. Bring your friends and relatives. It is very recommendable.

I was at Chuck's in Vaughan, last night. I have been going there periodically for many years. The present ownership and management have a new approach to Smart Serve. IF YOU WANT TO ORDER A WHOLE PITCHER FOR YOURSELF, THEY WILL SERVE IT TO YOU. HOPEFULLY THIS DOESN'T GET BACK TO THE LICENSING BODY, AS THEY MAY FROWN ON THIS ACTIVITY. LICENSES ARE HARD TO GET. SEE ANY GLASSES IN THIS SHOT? NONE! APPARENTLY THEY ARE OK WITH YOU DRINKING STRAIGHT FROM THE PITCHER.

Is great place to hangout with friends. Foods are nice especially the appetizers. Pooja was our server, very nice and friendly lady.

An 18 percent mandatory additional fee(Tip) for 6 or above guests? Come on guys!!! I went there today(1st January 2024) around 9pm and a staff informed us before hand that there will be an 18% gratuity fee for 6 or more guests and i don't think its a 'Chuck's Roadhouse policy' i felt its the managers decision (i could very well be wrong), haven't seen this practice at any other franchise. I paid the additional 18% only because i was happy with the service and because i was drunk🤞🤞. But didn't feel happy about this imposed tip. Tip is a present you give out of your willingness when you are happy with the service/effort (my belief) and not something which is imposed on you.

I usually love coming here but this time I wanted to try the bone in New York steak so I ask for it medium rare it comes out the first half is medium rare and I start to notice it’s becoming red. It still looks like medium rare so whatever and then when I arrive to the last third of it it’s raw aka next to the bone I ask them to cook it a little more and they do and when it comes back it’s still raw

Hey!! Very very well priced food. 3 of us had the Philly cheese steak sandwich and were all happy with our choice. Actually was stunned with how much beef that packed into the sandwich. Someone had the steak and for the price was pleased. Their only issue was that there was a bit too much steak spice on it. We had nachos and calamari to start. The nachos were a good serving. Perfect for a starter with 6 people. The calamari were good but just a bit over cooked. We will definitely be going back as there were several items on the menu that sounded good. Oh and yeah, how can you go.wrong with $4 beers 🍻. Thanks CRH

I came here on a Tuesday around 6 pm. There was only one other table of 1 present and a group of 6 on their way out when we were entering, but later, two other small parties of 1-2 also came. Overall, I'd say it wasn't too busy but mind you, it was just after the long weekend and the place is quite small to begin with compared to their other location that I visited - truly a "one look sees all" type open concept. I really like the aesthetic of the bar. Cleanliness is something they could work on though as some tables were dirty with no customers, hence limited our seating options though being told to "sit anywhere" and there was a fly buzzing around our table the entire time which really ruined the experience. Service was friendly - though we didn't get menus right away, our server consistently came to check up on us throughout our meal. Food was also tasty. Spinach and goat cheese dip: an appetizer but ordered as a main. Very cheesy and yummy, not too heavy. Loved using the leftovers for fries we had at the table too. Chuck's burger: a good sized burger that's not too heavy as well. Good classic. Buffalo chicken quesadilla: pleasantly surprised by how much veggies they stuffed into here which also made it a more balanced meal. Again, not too heavy feeling. A good helping of sour cream and salsa on the side.

I went here with a couple friends to talk about life. We were seated in a booth with a shaky table, but it didn’t bother us. For the appetizer, we had steak bites which came out quickly—almost too quickly. They weren’t bad but a little tough I thought, not worth the $15 we spent for them. For my main I had the 14 oz t-bone, I had asked for medium but I thought it was closer to medium well, and the mashed potatoes I thought could have been higher in quantity. The meal tasted good however. Our waiter was very nice and always made sure we got what we wanted. All in all, not exactly the best place I’ve been to.

I went there for dinner with my Fiancé, we got a couple domestic beers 18oz for $5 which is pretty normal I guess!! For the food we got, wings finger rings, and strip loin steak which comes with friends and corn. Chichen and rings were awesome, very crispy and very tasty with decent size per pc. The steak however tasted more like rare without any special spices. We ordered medium rare. The corn on the side was also literally rotten. The taste and texture obviously showed that. I was also surprised by the "honest and goodness fee" on my bill even though it wasn't more than $5 but still....!!!!!?? Overall, was alright for a quick affordable good dinner...

Really affordable steaks. Cooked well but need more seasoning add it was not close to being salted enough. Ordered a martini but came in a whiskey glass. Should've come in a Cosmo glass of they don't have a proper martini glass.

Food is okay for it's price. I asked about this "Honest to goodness fee" and was told that this is a fee that head office charges to keep quality high and prices low...Wut? Probably more of a cover credit card processing fees. Whatever, the service was nice though.

This place has amazing service! We were a really large group of about 30 people and Hannah hosted us. She made sure all our needs were met and she didn't miss a thing. She was very kind and we really appreciated everything she did to accommodate us. We had a great experience at Chuck's!

Very nice service and good servers. Food is fantastic, every time i visit there server Fagun is there to greet me and my friends with a great smile and adorable nature. She’s always friendly and knows everything about making the good mixed drinks and always got the best from her. The deals on beers and food specials daily are too great. Highly recommended chucks roadhouse Vaughan location.

Started out with great appetizers, ended with disappointing steaks. Went with a party of 6, 5 got steaks. 3 of them were not cooked as we'd requested. Guy who asked for a medium somehow ended up with a rare, despite them having little signs they stick into the steaks to distinguish them. Deal breaker was when we found a hair in the fries. Experience went from mediocre to gross and regrettable. Good service, waitresses are just trying their best. Food is edible, despite it all. Stick to the apps. Don't eat the corn, it was somehow the grossest part of the night. Seems like this place is a big hit or miss, go elsewhere if you can. Not worth rolling the dice on.

Is there really a Chuck? Did Chuck think it's a good idea to make quesadillas with breaded chicken instead of regular, grilled chicken? There's a reason no one else does it; you're better off with a nice sear than soggy, breaded chicken strips. It seems it can be cut into more equal slices too; I'm nitpicking but this gives me doubt as to whether Chuck can serve a good steak meal.

Food was good and great price. Beer is also a great price. After eating the burger I didn't have room to eat all the onion rings. I liked the batter on the rings. The fish tacos were huge. The wait staff does seem depressing though. At first there was only 2 other customers, and had to wait to get served. They walk very slowly like they hate their jobs, and we had to wait a long time, as did others, to get drink replacements. Had to waive them down. So did 2 other tables. There seemed to be enough wait staff, and not that many customers, so not sure if maybe they are the cooks too, as all of them would disappear for some time. I am very happy they are still wearing masks, and the owner is very attentive. Looing forward to going and sitting outside. (The bathroom could use some cleaning/fixing)
