This was my first visit to this location and my last. I went for a chicken sandwich and the customer ahead of me wanted his food replaced because he claimed it was undercooked. After giving him a hard time initially, the staff member eventually took his basket back and proceeded to put the returned chicken back on the rack to sell to someone else. Regardless of whether or not it was actually undercooked, once any food is given to a customer it should never be put for sale again. Who knows if it was contaminated or what else was done to it after it was sold. The entire experience was so off-putting I just left. Will not be returning!

Had a feeling the food went a little bad when eating, and after a night I am suspecting the food poisoning from the chicken in this store. Never had an issue from the other Popoyes stores. There seem to be reasons for all these bad reviews.

Just ordered tonight. Chicken nuggets combo. The fries doesn't taste fresh. It seems like it's previously cooked and they just dip it in the deep fryer again. Also, ordered chicken. The chicken taste stale and hard. I can tell that it's a leftover from who knows when. It went straight into the garbage. Such a waste of food and money. Awful!

Of the locations close to home that I've been to, this is probably the top. In comparison to other locations, it is cleaner; although there is still room for improvement on cleanliness. Spacious place with decent seating. The staff are generally nice. It takes a bit of time for the order to come through, but again, comparing to the other locations I've been to, this place probably has the best speed of service. Overall nice place to visit for Popeyes.

Its a descrase calling this place popeyes. I bet a desi person owns this franchise. Waited for over 20 mins for fresh tenders and fries. Guess what I left with fries that looked like they were fried twice in 2 days and were so hard.. and yeah the tenders were not fresh either. And there's a lady working.. soo much attitude when she speaks I'd fire her for sure. Don't go to the popeyes only reason I went there was because it's the only one open till late and I regret it.

First time it happened. I was told it’s impossible by the store manager because they use separate fryers. Said thank you sorry about calling. But 2nd experience same order spicy and mild tenders, 5pc. With Cajun fries. (Fries tasted right) tenders for the 2nd time tasted like fish. I don’t know if this is the cause of the oil or food sitting, or if they’re fried in the same fryer oil that the seafood is fried in. Which I don’t mind, but when I ask and I’m told by the store manager that I’m mistaken it has to be me, there is no way possible it can have a fishy taste to it, that bothers me, I don’t have an allergy but if I did to fish they would have had 2 lawsuits on there hands. Because I’m in the industry I want to add that the tenders only tasted like fish but by scent you wouldn’t know, I’m not a seafood fan, but when my chicken tastes like calamari and I’m expecting chicken that’s messed up. You can reply to this review it won’t change anything , do your business a favour and try them yourself have your staff try them, and get an opinion if you claim you don’t cross fry your items, and if you do just say that next time so I know what to order. Again not knocking your food it’s great, Service. 5 stars. Staff 5 stars. Food 5 stars. Customer service 1 star( this is specifically because you led me to believe I had a taste bud issue) To be fair , I waited a month in between ordering for the 2nd time so don’t tell me it was due to an issue or incident that occurred that week. The worst Popeyes!!!!! The staff is so rude, disrespectful and not polite. The Indian lady wearing the grey uniform shirt always has such a bad attitude that it makes us customers get mad. She has no customer service skills. I don’t know how this Popeyes is still running with the amount of complaints I’ve seen about this place. Honestly speaking don’t waste your time and money going here the food is not properly cooked. When you go complaint about it, they argue back instead of fixing it. Worst experience always at this Popeyes!!!!!!

Very poor customer service. I told them the order and the girl on the counter went back to kitchen without saying anything and was very rude with her expressions. When she finally took my order but poured extra gravy in the poutine, it looked like i was having soup poutine and when i get back to her she replied that they had extra gravy that is why she poured it, when I didn’t even asked for it. And the another girl came in and behaved very rudely. It happened early in the morning around 1 am on 1st September.

This is definitely my second favorite Popeyes locations in the city!!!The staff are all very friendly and helpful and generous! The chickens are always fresh and clean! Edit: 5 star to 1 star Have been to this place for over a year and also being supporting this place during the lock down. It was my favorite popeyes until today. The chicken that I received are all very dark and dry. A few pieces I threw them away due to the bad smell. The fries were all dried and most of them as hard as rock....last when I did the order there was only one tray with lighter color chicken pieces looked fresh then I saw the guy behind brought another tray with darker color chicken pieces which the lady took my order from this older tray. Saw her also threw away a bigger pieces and purposely selected the older smaller ones. Biscuits also very dry and tasteless. Obviously we were given old leftovers due to some reasons.

So i called this location today at 5:38pm ie Sat Jan 28. I asked if it is halal. The woman who answered said chicken is from Cisco. I obviously do not know what is Cisco and saying Cisco is a very general term. So I asked if there a certificate. She said yes. I said what does it say on it? She couldn’t answer me. I tried to explain the main reason why I am calling is to figure out if its hand slaughtered or machine slaughtered. She said she does not know this. i said i am going to be doing my own research if I know the chicken supplier or who certified the certification that should be on their wall posted! i also told her that i will be doing delivery so i cannot come in the store to see the halal certificate that is why I am calling. So she said her store does NOT do delivery and guess what? She HUNG UP THE PHONE!

I had an outstanding experience at this Popeyes location! The food was exceptionally delicious, and the service was top-notch. Everything was made FRESH, enhancing the overall dining satisfaction. I Highly recommend this location!

Advertised family feast without actually offering it. Well, okay. I got a 12pc chicken combo instead, but the chicken was poorly cooked and greasy. When my mother ate it she suffered from vomiting and diarrhea the same evening. So, there is something off about the chicken here for sure. Only one star because of food poisoning.

Terrible do you fry the fish with the same oil as chicken the chicken had a fish smell. Order meal for my son gives me a cup and the house is out of order told them I’m not giving him soda and refused a bottle of juice. We had the exact same thing happen a couple days prior at a different restaurant and they gladly gave us a bottle of apple juice. Terrible experience won’t go back I’ll be at Churches or Mary B’s

Very bad experience even tho i came around like 11:15pm. We are three people our order was like bigger they haven’t told that the dine in gonna closing around 11:30 after that we spend 15 minutes our order was ready. They lady she say that you can’t eat inside you have to take out . Before selling anything you should told first. I wouldn’t recommend that place

I just love Popeye's chicken strips and fries and their shrimp and mashed potatoes. I have to try other stuff there. And their cream cheese blueberry pie is amazing!

I was surprised to see stinky chicken and 🪰 around the fountain machine. I have been there so many times and I loved but this time quality of the chicken was awful. That is so sad for consumers.

We went there on a Saturday evening. I was surprised that it wasn't that busy. The service was great and our food was ready very quickly. We had ordered the 4 pc meal with an extra biscuit and it probably took less than 5 minutes for the food to be ready. It tasted great and would recommend going here.

Really they have the most amazing chicken spicy sandwich I enjoyed the food and service was fast and polite.

Food is always good but the guy with black shirt wearing glasses was seen being rude to his employees and I saw him touching chicken without any gloves.

First time been to popeyes, only coz of the harpinder front desk employee, we got to know the employees are very professional, good thing is attention to detail of the items , surely we make popeyes as our regular pick, thanks alot.

Don't waste your money on this location, chicken is black from inside old and greecey. Fries are smell like fish. Poor customer service I request them to change the chicken and fries but the indian girl's crew refuse and start arguing and telling me that the cooked the food in fresh oil they lied. Worst customer service never ever going back to this location again.

Friendly staff and very clean restaurant. Impressive customer service and they are so polite as I met khushboo last time. She is so sweet and calm. delicious and fresh food. Love this place.

Place was a bit dirty but overall good food and service was decent. The fries are delicious, and the chicken tenders were very tender and crispy. Little understaffed place so a little slower service and there was garbage on a lot of tables (uncleaned tables)

Service was excellent, However I did observe the male cook in the back drop a cooked piece of chicken and then picked it up, placing it right behind the chicken tray to be served to customers…. That’s disgusting..

WARNING!!! I beg you, do not eat here! Chicken: raw, pink and stringy, rubbery, somewhat grey. Non-tender chicken tenders. Distasteful fries, dry, yet somehow still repugnantly greasy. The so-called “sprite” was actually Perrier, all carbonation, no flavour. Handicap button didn’t open door #ABLEISM. Stomach aches within 10 minutes. Do not know if I will survive this. Eat here at your own peril…

The quality of the chicken was awful, definitely not halal chicken at all, the chicken was full of black dry blood inside which means that it wasn't slaughtered properly according to the halal standard to drain the blood after slaughtering the animal, which makes me suspect that they get there chicken from a chinese source (electrocuted). Head office should look into that and investigate their products. Also the service was horrible, 2 tiny napkins with 9 pieces of chicken. Stay away and go to any other location were you won't be disappointed.

Avoid this location at all cost. The staff and owner, Habeeb use old/expired chicken. Their chef/cook is not well trained. We ordered three combo sandwiches, 2 came undercooked (rather RAW CHICKEN). After complaining to the staff and showing uncooked chicken their reaction was ‘what can we do - it is what it is’. I would have given this location a zero star. Habeeb and Naveen are highly inexperienced managers and should be kept away from food industry at all costs. I’ve called Popeyes head office to complain about their practices in store.
