We had the breakfast, the portion of smoked meat was a bit stingy tho. It came with home fries, salad, eggs and toast. They have a good few choices of smoked meat here. The smoked meat was ok, it could be more smokey, its kinda lack of flavour and fragrant yet the marble rye bread looks quite cool. Thanks the server on that day let me change my home fries to a potatoes salad. However, my friends' home fries were soggy, very greasy and leaving a pool of oil at the bottom of the bowl, it wasn't very nice to be honest.

Came here with a Groupon. It includes 2 corn beef sandwiches and a side of fries with a bottle of vintage wine(white). Also ordered 1 lb of wings with honey garlic sauce tossed on. The corn beef sandwiches are great! Fries is golden, hot and crispy! The wings, however, not so great, unfortunately. It was dry and hard. But, overall, I love it. Thanks for letting me try something new. (First time trying corn beef, just fantastic!)

I went with zero expectations and left already knowing this will be a great sandwich. I got the 3 sliders and fries, corned beef, roast beef and Montreal smoked. As promised to them tonight, I had it with a beer and it was fantastic. Fries were like fry-truck fresh and tasty. The pretzel bun really did make the sandwich and I love the various sauces and coleslaw added. Everyone we super friendly and helpful since I was indecisive. I'm almost embarrassed that it took me this long to get here considering it's in my neighbourhood. Good place for casual drinks and deli, beer selection, international sodas, etc. I'll be back!

Nice place, big portion. Real cheese and bacon on Caesar salad. Not that many places will give that now.

This is some real good place! The restaurant's interior is funky, trendy and modern, with some nice music playing in the background setting the right ambiance and mood.. I ordered a couple of salads, a half pound of corned beef and a couple of soups. The flavours are there, it might need some seasoning, but I would definitely go back and try other items on the menu. The place surely deserves a visit!

I was a bit squeamish looking at the order I just placed when I saw it was a ‘pub’ but wasn’t a pub but then found out just now it isn’t a pub. …anyways—they provide a well rounded meal and pump out some great beef!

A nice sandwich place in Vaughan. Their corned beef is fresh and delicious. The roast beef was not so good as it tasted and smelled like it was about to turn. They serve alcohol here so that is a nice touch. The sandwiches are a good size and the fries are fresh. But please do not serve your customers food that is about to go bad. If you order the roast beef, make sure it's fresh.

This place was delicious! Even better with the groupon discount that was purchased online. The deal was for $29.60 and it came with 2 huge Montreal Old Fashion sandwiches, 2 fresh-cut French fries, and 2 Peroni beers. This place has quick service and fresh food. I ordered from here for Uber delivery as a first time customer and to call the experience disappointing is an understatement. First of all...the portions are not only laughable but downright terrible. The smoked meat sandwich we ordered the HUGE size...and there was barely 3-4 thin layers of meat...nowhere near the portions of other places and certainly not HUGE in any way. Look at the deceiving pictures...the sandwich is stuffed 2-3 INCHES high and they send you a paper-thin version. And the Cole Slaw for $9.25...Wow...that MUST be a big portion. Nope. A small container that most places would charge $3-$4 for and here you get a miser's portion for double the money. GOURMET marinated olives. Mmmmm...look at that picture. Looks like 4-5 different olives...I see some sliced garlic...peppers...seasoning...it's $9.99 but looks great. Oooops...fooled me again. I get a container of nothing but Kalamata olives. That's it. No variety...no seasoning...nothing. And speaking of no seasoning...the Potato Salad at $9.49 is horribly bland...NO FLAVOR at all and again...small portion for the money. And Mashed potatoes with gravy $8.99...must be a boatload of spuds, right? Wrong...maybe a cup of mash...another rip-off. The Oktoberfest sausage trio was tasty and a good portion and the Country Carrot Cake and Peanut Butter Fudge Cheesecake were very good so I assume they're made elsewhere and brought in because they are the only items that come close to good taste...good price and good portions. Absolutely terrible place with high prices...tiny portions and deceiving pictures and I obviously would never order again.

This place serves one of the best Old Fashion smoke meet I have ever had. and I had this sandwich in other places and also in Montreal. Let me tell you, this is very very good. don't listen to some stupid reviews from better cheap people who probability are complaining everywhere they go. I have been to this fine place for many times now. it is gooood.

Had the Classic platter and ordered takeout. The rye bread was really thickly sliced (so I guess it depends if you like it like that). Comes with 3 different types of mustard. Liked the olives and slaw that came with it. The service was quick and friendly.

It’s been years since I’ve ate at this restaurant. Tonight after a long out of town drive we were in the mood for a smoked meat sandwich. We ordered and picked up ten minutes later. Honestly, this was one of the best sandwiches I had in a long time. Meat was tender and spiced well. The bread was soft and complimented so well. I was in montreal last month and had a sandwich and this was definitely better. Pretty much…let’s give these people more business. Great sandwich!

What a great find! A hidden gem located on a plaza in Thornhill. We were visiting from Los Angeles and this restaurant was recommended to us. We can’t thank our friends enough for telling us about this place and we can’t wait to be back. The ambience and decor is perfect for a get together with friends or just a quick bite when in a hurry. The menu is abundant and filled with choices you can’t try anywhere else. Super friendly and quick service. We had and highly recommend the home made soup, chicken Kiev with mashed potatoes , Reuben sliders on pretzel bun ( to die for!!! ), comes with fries, the specialty old fashioned burger - all so unique and delicious amd portions are big It will be definitively be our #1 visit for the next trip to Toronto

Very cosy European like place with nice food selection.

Giving two stars only because the restaurant was decorated really nicely with a whole bunch of decor. But I went in only for the a kawartha milkshake, the woman making it didn’t wash her hands or wear gloves as she shoved her hands into the tub while scooping, and she really seemed to struggle with it, which is why I’m assuming she didn’t add a second scoop (which clearly could’ve fit in the cup) and subbed it with wayyy too much milk instead. The worker in the kitchen wasn’t wearing gloves OR a mask! I mean, come on! There’s a whole pandemic out here and you guys can’t even wear gloves which would be the standard no matter what. Couldn’t taste any ice cream in my milkshake as it was mainly just milk. Super disappointed.

Used to go to the Aurora location so I knew the smoked meat sandwiches and fries were always really good. I decided to try the burgers this time and went with the Smash Burger. I was not disappointed in the slightest. It was amazing. And huge too. Well worth the cost. It’s now forever going to be an internal fight when I go, wether I get the smoked meat or the burger. Wow was it good.

Good quality place, use to be downtown but relocated to York region during covid. Good choice of spicy vs non spicy mustard along with a selection of bread types. Their smoked meat is not as fatty as I'd like but good enough in the end.

Food and service is incredible. I highly recommend if you're looking for fresh and quality foods at a fair price. Large grilled chicken sandwich (with a side of corned beef!) Delicious & nutritious. I will be bringing all of my clients to this spot!

First, the good news. The Montreal smoked meat sandwich was fantastic, as were the fresh cut fries. My wife loved the schnitzel sandwich. Second, the bad news. Covid precautions were negative. Asked for a straw, waiter came back with a bare straw in his hands. FAIL! Then we saw him scooping ice cream and touching the scoop with his bare hands. FAIL!

Stopped for takeaway after picking up some bagels next door. Beautiful decor. Staff were very polite, a pleasure to speak with. We grabbed a corned beef sandwich and old fashioned Montreal with a shake and onion rings. Takeout was quick, and the flavours and quality were on point. I'd stop in again. If you're in the area, support local small restaurants, this is a great example. Kudos.

Ordered ahead and picked up. We live about 20 mins away so we knew the food wouldn't be as if we got it freshly served. Got home and we all dug in, sampler which included, Montreal smoked meat, pastrami and corned beef and two sausages, 3 sides. Kids shared a chicken nugget kids meal with a huge portion of fresh cut fries. They were happy and we were devouring the sampler, the meats were amazing and the sausage was out of this world! They also tossed in 3 mustards and yellow mustard in packets which is fine, yellow mustard is yellow mustard. The hot mustard was awesome, so was the sweet and Dijon mustards. Not sure they they are made in house or not but they were all great. For the sides we got potato salad, coleslaw and pickled vegetables. All three were great, coleslaw was my favourite. It also included 4 slices of fresh rye bread and some kosher pickles on the side. I'd highly recommend checking this place out. Well worth the drive for us and we will definitely be coming back, hopefully dining in when we do.

I was craving a nice sandwich and this hit the spot. Best corned beef sandwich I’ve had in a very long time. The choice of bread is great, and the onion roll was really fresh. The poutine and onion rings were also really good, especially the nicely seasoned fries. Can’t wait to dine in and try all the different meats. Update: I dined in this past weekend and the breakfast poutine with corned beef is amazing. They also have a huge selection of pop and the service is also great.

Delicious but way overpriced, I ordered a huge corned beef sandwich. Let me tell you for $15 this was not huge. I love corned beef sandwiches, but I have never seen such a small portion for this amount of money. Too bad as it was delicious. Shouldn't the prices on the wall menu be up to date, I have refer to a paper menu to order.

Went for lunch with a colleague. Used a groupon for smoked meat sandwich, fries and a beverage. Sandwich was great, choice of bread and mustard. Huge amount of hand cut fries which were not greasy. Pickle to round off the smoked meat and mustard. Service was great and friendly. Recommend for lunch/dinner with fun decor. We will return again!
