Having dined at other locations, this one unfortunately would not be the one I’d recommend. The service was subpar. The food was unappetizing however when you’re hungry you’ll eat anything. This resulted in stomach pains shortly after.

Whenever we got inside, There was a bit of attitude from a servant when giving us our table, But as we sat down, a different servant came and the service was pretty good as she knew her things. The food was amazing especially because the fries was not salted. I wish they had draft beer instead of bottle beer though. I do recommend for any ages and families to go there.

The worst breakfast place I have ever been. The fries are not cooked at all. They are not even fries, they are half cooked, half mashed potatoes thrown on our faces. A very very disappointing way to start the day. I lost my appetite after having one bite of that omelette.

been coming here for years now and yesterday was so disappointing, the service was horrible and the quantity of food was not like it was last year. I ordered the Greek salad to start and the portion was so small! My hot roast beef meal was half the amount of beef i usually get. For $50 for 2 people to eat a quick dinner was so upsetting. I usually leave FULL but i left still hungry. Im not going to mention about our server...overall so disappointed!

I was totally disgusted. This was my first visit to this location and I'll never return I came in with 2 friends for breakfast and never got to eat. I ordered eggs with sausage. When I cut into my eggs, they were raw. By the time she brought them back, my friends had already finished eating, which was fine, I still would have eaten them, but they were so over cooked that I sent them back. Even if I had more time, I think it's disgusting service. I would never wait for them to cook eggs correctly a third time and all the waitress said was oh sorry. She didn't even offer my coffee for free to at least make it seem like she cared

Our favourite hang out place when we don't know what to eat. Good variety of options...from all day breakfast to burgers n pasta. Kid's meal too for jist the right portion.

I was at the restaurant yesterday (Mothers day)l around 2:30pm. My wife had an apple pie with ice cream. The ice cream was gritty. I had the (Mediterranean wrap). The crispy chicken had BROWN meet and it was very dry. The lettuce used was the romaine root and not the leaf. The tomato was tasteless and the tortilla used was dry and the wrap fell apart in my hands. There was also a extremely small coleslaw 1.5 inches in diameter (3 tablespoons.For $12.99 I was extremely disappointed and expected a little bit more. The only thing good to report was the service.

I love their new location, just opposite to their previous one! Yummy food, delicious burgers! Ample parking and well priced! Topped up with good customer service!

I got the flashback and the sausage was lovely and the eggs very filling and the potatoes was great but The pancakes I got chocolate chips where burnt! It’s my first time having pancakes there and will be my last… I prefer Cora for breakfast then Wimpys to be honest my opinion, which it is why I’m giving them a three star.

What's NOT to like about Wimpy's? Food is amazing service is great. You will neverrrrr leave hungry. You can taste the love in the food!

This is a great retro dining place with The difference is the burgers are much better. The burger patties are flame broiled and are absolutely huge, served with fries and won't leave you hungry. I give the burger 10 out of 10. I recommend the breakfast as well.

All the staff that work here are extraordinary. They do whatever they can to make customers feel welcome and have the best experience. The restaurant is clean and bright. It’s one of my favourite local gems.

I used to go to this Wimpys all the time when it was across the road and now going to the new location I was so impressed. It's clean and bright and the staff and food are both still and always wonderful!!! I had a club sandwich and ended up taking home half of it, and I don't usually have to take home a portion! Unlike most places these days they don't skimp or cut corners to save money! The prices are still reasonable, the portions are still huge at the staff is still friendly!

Food and mikeshake are good. Price is reasonable. I really like the environment and atmosphere. Feel like "back to 80's". There is one near my home but I prefer to drive more than half hrs to come 8100 Yonge St one. Atmosphere is completely different.

This is one of our favorite breakfast places, which we visit regularly on weekends. We had breakfast there again this past Saturday, and Leanne took great care of us. This is where we get the best 'home style' food. You can have breakfast, lunch or dinner and it's all delicious. The atmosphere is really cool. Lots of marvel characters. Wait staff are all friendly. Never had a bad meal here😁...and the prices are very reasonable for the food you get.

If you're looking for all day breakfast that's reasonable in price, Wimpy's is the spot. Loved my simple breakfast: overhard eggs, rye toast, home fries and sausage. The portion was huge and can easily be shared amongst two people. I'll definitely visit again when in this area.

Once upon a time this was my favourite place in the world. I came here so often that they knew exactly what I would order. I remember coming here when half the milkshakes on the menu were actually secret milkshakes. Many years later, I look back on this place still as a gem. It’s an amazing diner with fantastic service and a great variety of delicious food. It’s not 5 star food, but a solid four especially considering the great prices. Love the vibes inside. Will come here even when I have grandkids cause I’m sure it’ll be open.

I took a group to Wimpy's, and although they do not take reservations, I did warn them in advance. The area was ready for us, and Joann was our waitress. She was pleasant and very efficient. All dishes came out hot and in a timely manner, kudos to the kitchen. Everyone was impressed with the service. Thank you.

We normally come here twice a month for breakfast and we have been coming here for years we usually have a good experience, but today it was totally different I can say there is maybe 1 or two girls here that are really friendly, the one we had today was so inpatient never smiled. We normally have the same order but today we ordered something different We both ordered pancakes and they had to be the worst they were dry gummy just awful and to boot we ordered the real maple syrup paid extra and we couldn’t even eat these pancakes, we ate other part of the meal, at the end the waitress noticed that we didn’t eat them she asked us why we told her they were dry and gummy , she asked us if we wanted a replacement we said no, we just wanted to leave and if this batch was bad why would I take that chance that the next batch would be better they should be good regardless. Very disappointed there are so many breakfast places around and I have never had problem with pancakes these we the worst. Don’t think I am coming back here agian.

I went out for brunch with my family here and we were all very happy with what we ordered. I haven't been to a wimpys diner in probably 20 years! My wife and I ordered the southwest Benedict and we would highly recommend, it was delicious and everything was cooked perfectly l. Hats off to the cook. We will be returning

Great Variety of food, and always comes out great. The Staff are amazing, friendly, and really make the customers feel welcome. We love going here for great Burgers, but also really love the warm family friendly atmosphere.

I like Wimpy's Diner. This location is not my favorite. You will feel the same if you are an Asian.

Always love visiting the dinner when I come to Toronto. My gran used to take me here 30 years ago. Brings back memories and they always remember you no matter how long it had been.

I go here with my family often. The food is great, we usually get turkey and it's always nice and thick, not shredded. The service from the ladies is A+. Tip them well, they work really hard and will get you anything you need immediately.

Old dinner setting (nostalgic). The food was good; hamburger and fries and a BLT. Very busy for lunch which is normal. The kitchen was slow that day. Don't know if that is normal or Covid staffing related

My spinach and feta cheese omelette was a killer!! It was so good. My little boy ordered his kids pasta with tomato sauce and he finished whole bowl + garlic bread + milk shake + my toasts with jam!! Unfortunately juke box was not available maybe due to covid. But overall it was the wimpy's I always missed after all these years.
